VHC:

There was plenty to please me in this entry – in terms of type & movement. Coats were disappointing in some – & considering the name of this variety, I penalised accordingly. Short ribcage & sternum likewise. Many thanks to my stewards.

VD 1 Cishelvine Sea Swell, 9 years quality dog with lovely head & eyes, good proportions. Really enjoying his day with typical Wire character. Not quite in his best coat. Good topline. Could be a little longer in ribcage. BV. MPD 1 Veenen Onyx Resetin Gold at Garjay, 8 months, I liked her size, proportions, ribcage & coat & a very good head. Good quarters. Tail a little long, I’d prefer a little more layback in upper arm & he needs time to fill out in front which shows on the move but he is full of promise & a lovely temperament. When he settled, carried himself well. Won BP on ground clearance & rear action. JD 1 Derochaise Black Tarquin, 13 months, lovely outline & balance & a very good ribcage. I’d prefer a harder coat. Very good head & eye. Full of quality, should have a good future. Moved well; 2 Derochaise Justified for Cishelvine, litter brother, better coat & I liked his proportions. Good forechest, I’d prefer a longer ribcage; 3 Avantine Scots Bluff. PGD 1 Wiretap Here I Am, 18 months red, lovely type & proportion with excellent head. Very good forechest & good quarters. A little loose in front yet but very good stride & holds a strong topline on the move; 2 Tendrow Alberta, 9 months brindle with good coat, well ribbed back although a little longer in body than the winner. Not as firm in movement in topline as the winner; 3 Jethard Two To Tango at Salixian. LD Disappointing class. 1 Boloria’s Cadbury Surprise, 3 years chocolate, the best size, proportions & movement in the class. He needs firmer body condition as his topline could be firmer but I liked a lot about him; 2 Cishelvine Red Admiral, almost 3 years red. Good size & proportions but a touch too low for body clearance. Won this place on his coat & ribcage & eye; 3 Wagsford Lincoln. OD 1 Ch Fransin Brasilian T P Panettone, 3 years, of lovely size & proportions, excellent coat & ribbing. Well made, very good head & eye. Carried a good topline. Convincing CC winner. A new one to me, I liked him a lot; 2 Allfreys Rock Of Gibraltar, 4 years, excellent coat & movement, I’d prefer a little more ground clearance but he has so much type. Good head, I’d prefer his eye a shade darker. RCC; 3 Tendrow Replayed In Blue.

PB Disappointing class, all at various stages & not carrying themselves well. 1 Bystock Extra Virgin, 11 months, lovely size, beautiful coat, a touch too low to ground & this shows in her action, but scored decisively in ribbing, topline & head. Her eye could be a shade darker; 2 Allfreys Rosabaya, 10 months, I preferred her ground clearance to the winner as she moved well but at the moment she is a little soft in topline & not the finish of head of the winner. Lovely temperament. Has promise for the future & could finish well; 3 Brumberhill Bellissima. JB 1 Bolorias April Fool, 16 months very dark brindle with best conformation of the class & best movement. Eyes could be a shade darker. Needs a little more coat but full of quality; 2 Greyhayne Lotty Merry, very good shape on the move, a little shorter in sternum & I’d prefer a little more rear angulation. Scored on her ground clearance to take this place over 3 but I would prefer harder furnishings; 3 Lesandnic Sleepy Time. PGB 1 Gravetye Kiss Me Kate Cishelvine, 22 months red, scored in length & ground clearance. Needs a little more texture to coat at the moment. Very well angulated at both ends. Has good stride. Could be in harder condition; 2 Tendrow Rouge Et Noire at Salixian, almost 3 years, good size & body length but a touch low to ground for clearance & stride. Not the rear angulation of winner. Lovely head & eye. LB 1 Ho To To Swelegant Girl at Tendrow, 2 years, lovely type with good proportions, long ribcage & good movement. Has an excellent coat. Good head & eye; 2 Cishelvine Enigma Of The Sea, almost 3 years, I preferred her head to the winner & she too has an excellent coat but not as firm on the move which made the difference; 3 Tendrow Joie De Vivre at Atahira. OB 1 Ch Silvae Solo, 2 years, beautiful bitch with excellent coat & excellent movement. Beautiful head & eye, scored in her freedom of action in front with good reach. Excellent topline, I don’t think she is fully mature in body yet but well ribbed & superb carriage. CC & BOB; 2 Ambiesque Allure, 2 years, another lovely bitch, pressed hard & has very good ribbing & a lovely head & eye. Excellent quarters. Not quite the density of coat of winner or her cleanness in front but I liked her a lot. RCC; 3 Ch Tendrow Peaches.
