DACHSHUND - WIRE HAIRED

It has been a while since I last did this variety. I was disappointed to find that the breed has many exhibits with bad mouths and level bites some were barely scissor bites. Feet had a lot to be desired flat splayed, long toe nails and weak pasterns. Movement was mixed. If it was good coming towards you, hind movement took a lot to be desired and vice versa. A dog may look good in profile but out and back is more important. Coats on the whole were good and teeth were clean.

VD
(1) 1 Vine's Cishelvine Sea Swell Masculine dog enjoying his day out. Correct head and neck well laid shoulders good ribbing moved out well.

PD(5) 1 Rollinson's Bellavin Invincible At Nosinllor. Smart puppy presented in excellent coat fabulous head, well arched neck, correct front, good length of rib, covered the ground with ease. Well angulated. Hind quarters needs to tighten behind on the move. Pleased to award him BP RDCC. Should have a great future. 2 Coverley's Aventine Jamaica Inn. Another lovely puppy who was giving the handler a hard time. Moved out well keeping a good outline today. I preferred the front of the winner. Sure they will change places another day. 3 Vine's Cishelvine Red Admiral.

PGD
(1) 1 Weatherer's Salixian Levante Via Itsuitzuz. Smart brindle Would like a darker eye as it detracted from his expression. Nice well filled front, moved out ok but needs to firm up in rear movement. Well handled to get the best out of him.

LD
