DACHSHUND - SMOOTH HAIRED
I was delighted to be invited to judge
Dachshunds at this prestigious show. I was very pleased with my entry. Overall
temperament and condition were good.
JD 1. Tite's Rijobeau Hot On Ya Heels, nice black and tan dog with good
head and forequarters. Kept level topline on the move. RBD
PGD 1. Riseborough's Matzell Man About The House, Shaded red dog with
nice ribbing extending from withers. Moved using the ring to advantage. 2.
Graham's Gameron Simply Red, nice dog which moved well keeping level topline.
LD 1. MacDonald's Bensarka Phoenix Sun. Well presented red dog, well
laid back shoulders, good width of chest with lovely ribbing. Moved well.
OD 1. Tite's Rijobeau Caught Red Handed. Prominent chest and good front
quarters and lovely tight feet, beautifully ribbed and muscular dog which moved
well with drive showing pads at all times. Pity he couldn't stay for the Group
judging. BOB.
JB 1. Seago and Gibbard's Gameron Right Note for Amlida. Nice bitch
with good head, eye, fore chest and top line. Moved well with drive. 2. Bennet's
Hacienda Outrageous Fortune at Shardaroba (Mal Imp). Compact bitch with long
reach of neck. Preferred overall picture of 1.
PGB 1. Riseborough's Matzell Maid Specially. Nice black and tan bitch,
nice quarters, and good prominent chest and well ribbed. Level top line on the
move and stacked moved well. 2. Seago and Gibbard's Tealby Lorna Doone, another
black and tan, this time more compact but well ribbed. Showed herself well
around the ring, just preferred movement of 1.
LB 1. MacDonald's Bensarka Sunkissed Sky. My winner was a lovely red
bitch which had good confirmation all round and moved around the ring freely, a
little immature at the moment but has great potential for the future. 2.
Graham's Roleta Red Letter Day for Gameron. A nice red bitch with good prominent
for chest, well laid back shoulders and excellent ribbing. A bit nervous today
which was reflected in the movement.
OB 1. MacDonald's Am Ch Hampdach Classic Gold at Bensarka. Red bitch
with good front with nice ribbing extending from withers. Nice feminine head
with good eye. level top line with good turn of stifle. Well-balanced, moved
with drive. Moved using the ring to advantage. RBOB.
