STANDARD SMOOTH HAIRED

 I would like to thank the exhibitors for a super entry of quality dogs and also the committee for their hospitality. Temperaments on the whole were excellent with only a few costing them higher placings because of their behaviour. I was very pleased with my CC and and RCC winners and the quality of the upcoming puppies can only serve to strengthen the breed. MPD (2) 1 Cedavoch Born to Boogie. In this class, two lovely puppies of different types. First, beautiful head, lovely long neck flowing into well laid shoulders, correct front construction, good topline, super angulated hindquarters. 2 Silandajo Any Dream Will Do. Of smaller mould than 1, just not as mature. However, a quality baby, sweet head, lovely front, just unsettled on the move today. PD (0). JD (3) 1 Lauralee Charles Dickens at Cwmdarhian. Well balanced junior with nice head and beautiful expression, not overdone in any way, moved well with well angulated quarters, a pleasing picture. 2 Hampdach Pyrrus. A quality exhibit, just unsettled on the day and just lost out on behaviour. 3 Silandajo Best Intentions. PGD (4,3) 1 Phaeland Sheriff's Deputy. Nice size with lovely outline in stance. Super hind angulation, would just need a little more confidence as today this inhibited his movement but a quality specimen of the breed. LD (9,2) 1 Sontag Sir Cumference at Kireton. Close decision between 1 and 2. Just preferred the strong topline and front assembly of 1 and on the move, loved his profile. This dog just came together on the move as he excelled with free flowing movement and drive from the rear. A dog of good substance but without coarseness and very well balanced, hard to fault. RCC. 2 Cedavoch Galadrim. Another quality exhibit with super angulation but today just not the drive of 1, but liked him a lot. 3 Roleta Red Boots to Shine For Silandajo. OD (5,2) 1 Three quality exhibits of different types. Ch Lauralee Lloyd George. Strong masculine head without coarseness, powerful jaw, lovely long neck flowing into correctly constructed front, super shoulder placement, nice tight feet, level topline and superb angulated rear. Powered round the ring, well able to do the job he was bred for, could have watched him move all day, just loved him and on the day he pulled out all the stops and showed his socks off. Delighted to award him DCC and BOB. 2 Ch Am Ch Jagie's I Love the Night Life. A quality specimen of the breed, elegant head, lovely eye with kind expression. Nice profile in stance and on the move. Just preferred the substance and drive of 1. However, a lovely dog in excellent condition and shown to perfection. 3 Ch Lauralee Role of Honour via Rijobean. VD/B (4,2) 1 Meganhol Abracadabra. Lovely sized veteran bitch, not exaggerated in any way, lovely front, good topline and moved out well, enjoying her day. BV. 2 Sh Ch Rosenket What a Wizard at Andax. Bigger mould than 1 and not quite as angulated behind. Just preferred overall profile of 1, however, a credit to his owner for his age. MPB (1) 1 Cedavoch Let's Boogie with Bronia. What a lovely puppy, most beautiful head and earset. correct front, topline a little soft but only a baby and carrying a little too much weight. Lovely hind angulation and handled to her best advantage. PB (4) A lovely puppy class. First and second of two different types. 1 Cedavoch I Love to Boogie. Super head and front assembly, strong topline and great angulation, lovely in stance and on the move. Super temperament and just oozed ring presence. Just loved her. RCC, BP and delighted to see her go RBPIS. 2 Marictur Miss Modiste at Dabrenhof. Another lovely youngster of shorter mould than 1. However, very nice type, good front and topline, sweet expression, handler could perhaps get more out of her. 3 Marictur Moulin Rouge. JB (2) 1 Cedavoch Boogie on Down to D'Arisca. Both first and second lovely youngsters, just preferred the length and free flowing movement of 1. Beautiful head, good front assembly with loads of potential and moved beautifully around the ring. 2 Hampdach Classic Gold at Bensarka. Of smaller mould than 1 and movement not as free today. Lovely head and good front, good topline, just preferred overall profile of 1. PGB (7,3) 1 Phaeland Secret Diva to Adnerb. Nice size of bitch, lovely profile in stance and on the move, overall a very pleasing picture. 2 Phaeland Strathisla Dawn. Liked this bitch a lot, but being silly on the table and had to pay the price. However, a very nice bitch with a lot of excellent attributes. 3 Hampdach Rich Ebony. LB (6,3) 1 Marictur Uptown Madam JW. In this class this bitch stood out in profile. A quality bitch, just lacked a little enthusiasm and drive on the move but liked her a lot. 2 Cedavoch Altariel. Different type to 1 and today not as settled. Just preferred hindquarters of 1 but a nice type of bitch. 3 Come Dancing with Portalutra. OB (7) 1 Ch Hampdach Alinga JW. This bitch caught my eye when she entered the ring. A stylish and elegant bitch in excellent condition, beautiful head, excellent front assembly, lovely profile in stance which she never lost on the move. Well balanced with exquisite reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Her movement was effortless and a joy to watch. Delighted to award her BCC. 2 Ch Matzell Maid of Honour. Another very classy bitch of similar size and type to 1. Just preferred the head and neck of 1, however, a quality bitch shown to perfection. 3 Ch Carpaccio Precious Pearl JW.
