SMOOTH HAIRED:

MPD (3) 1 Armstrong’s Lauralee Golden Boots. 8 months red who won here on the day on quality, soundness and breed type. Good outline, nice head and neck. Not at all settled on the move but when he gets his act together he will be quite something. 2 Bethel’s Hampdach Celebrity. 6 months b/t and rather raw at the moment and lacking body. The best mover and showman in the class but it could not take him to the top of the class on the day. 3 Walkley’s Churchoak Red Adair.

PD (1) 1 Dalgety’s Thundergay Arch Duke. Rising 12 months, this 12 month old certainly shows off his virtues well. Very nice head and neck, need to firm up in elbows standing and moving. Deep chest, good keel and an ideal body and sound quarters.

JD (7) 1 MacDonald’s Carpaccio Black Out at Bensarka. Extremely well grown for 13 months, this b/t put in a good performance both standing and moving. Scores in head, eyes, ears and long neck. Firm front, deep chest and body and a good keel. Ribs carried well back, strong loins and good sound quarters. Nice coat and condition. 2 Walkley’s Churchoak Cardinalsin. 13 months chocolate coming on very well and taking the winner close up. Pleasing in head, eyes and ears. Well used neck, firm front, close knit feet, breastbone strong and prominent, good body for age and a good topline. Compact loins, croup, firm hocks and moving freely and quite true. 3 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Galadria.

PGD (4) 1 Joy’s Rosenket Hot Property with Morailsa. Nice quality chocolate of good size and type and sound to go over. Nice for balance, very nice head, eyes and ears, Long neck with slight arch and a deep chest. Good keel. sound front and a good topline and loins. Well angulated in rear, moving in good style. 2 Jeffery’s Rosenket Heir Apparent at Andax. Was taking the winner close up and then packed it in and lost his topline. Another very sound one to go over. Lovely head, neck and front, good body and keel. Sound backend, moving well both ends. 3 Harris’ Smooth Operator.

LD (7) 1 and Res CC, Hunt’s Carpaccio Black Sabbath. This b/t is ideal for size and type, full of quality and soundness. Lovely head and neck, strong straight front and deep chest. Ideal ribs, compact loins and a nice long croup. Good topline and underline. Very sound quarters, in brilliant coat and condition and a very assertive mover, covering the ground with good freedom and quite true. 2 Dent’s Lauralee Dylan Thomas von Dachstein. This very nice b/t took the winner very close up in all respects. Sound throughout, well bvalanced and moving really well. I think this one, together with the winner, could really go on and get their titles. 3 Oxley’s Lauralee the Real Thing at Owlery Sh CM.

OD (4) 1 CC and BOB, Armstrong’s Ch Lauralee Lloyd George. High class b/t, super sound to go over and lovely in outline, very sound and positive movement. Super masculine head of good length with dark eyes of ideal shape. Lengthy neck with proud carriage, good chest and ideal keel. Good underline and a level topline. 2 Cooper’s Ch Sontag Simon le Bone JW. This nice b/t just refused to put his best feet forward on the day and appeared phased by the noise. Nevertheless a grand dog of lovely type and qquality. Obviously the ring and surroundings just did not suit him. 3 McNaughton’s Aust Ch and UK Ch Nicholyev the Hobbit (Imp).

Vet D (1) 1 Jeffery’s Rosenket What A Wizard at Andax Sh CM. Rising 9 years and enjoying his day out, still in good coat and muscular condition. Pleases in head and front, retains a good body with a sound backend. Positive on the move but shortstepping a bit these days.
