DACHSHUND - LONG HAIRED

Thank you to all concerned for allowing me to judge at this prestigious show. Also, thanks to all exhibitors for some superb dachshunds, mini smoothes especially, conforming well to breed standard.

PD
(1) 1 Furneaux's Bokra Mikado (R) 10 mths, strong masculine head, oval eye, prominent fore chest, well placed shoulders, good length of ribbing, level topline, a little unsettled on the move today, BP.

PGD
(2) 1 Hagan & Borsuk's What a Corker (b/t) not quite such a strong head but good oval eye, prominent fore chest with good width between tight feet, good length of ribbing, level topline both standing and on the move, moved well, RBD. 2 Fossett's Owlery Carlos at Brysdax, masculine head and expression, good length of ribbing, a little closer in front than one, reflecting on movement.

OD
(3) 1 Sutton's Damai Master Benedict Sh.CM b/t houndy head of Romany appearance, good oval eye, plenty of bone and substance, everything in the right place, covered the ground well keeping topline, BD & BOB. 2 Fossett's Melminds Method in Madness via Brysdax, nice overall outline, good coat and condition, didn't drive as well as 1. 3 Eldridge & Swann's Metadale Morgenhof.

PB
(2) 1 Jordan's Resurgam Morning Glory, b/t 10½ mths, good outline, feminine head, shoulders well placed, good length of ribbing, strong hindquarters, not with her owner today, shown in good coat & condition RBB. 2 Le Page's  Resurgam Elise Thelepees, litter sister to 1, needs a little more time to mature and settle.

JB
(1) 1 Le Page's Resurgam Elise Thelepees.

O
(1) Sutton's Damai Miss Sophie, Litter mate to BOB, similar applies, lovely overall outline BB. Miniature smooth haired:
