LONG HAIRED

VM (3, 1) 1 Brearley’s Darkfell Saracen of Xanadax, B/T dog, looked well, lovely teech and condition, little too much of him. 2 Arnold’s Kireton Silver Shannon of Doral, Silver dapple dog, again show in lovely condition, teeth a credit to his owner, didn’t keep his outline as well as winner going round.

PD (4) 1 Metcalfe’s Metadale Major Decision, so much substance on this dark red, lovely bone and feet, super ribbing and so very sound, decent head type and so well balanced, can make more of himself on the move. 2 Johnson’s Tiendawn Velvet Commander at Africandawns, loved the head, neck and topline on this red, striking when posed, just not so positive coming towards as winner. 3 Little’s Swed Ch Metadale Man Of The World.

JD (1) 1 Wardle’s Ranglewood Euphrasia At Dystelegh, Handsome head on this B/T, would like much better ribbing, must learn to make more of himself in the ring, particularly on the move.

PGD (6, 1) 1 Chapman’s Melminds Master Copy, nice size quality B/T shown in gleaming condition, lovely to go over, lovely outline kept at all times. Very sound, prefer his head a little cleaner in cheeks. 2 Hale’s Abydachs Night On The Town, B/T from a larger mould, very nice to go over and is a handsome boy, sound enough, little more neck would enhance his outline and more could be made of his presentation. 3 Thompson’s Metadale made To order For Oleanca.

LD (10, 3) 1 Clarke’s Tekalhaus Masterpieve SH CM, very striking shaded red, super head and eye, lovely neck, shoulders and front, firm topline, lovely feet, shown and presented in first class condition, can be proud of his tail at times. Liked him a lot. 2 Hutton’s Owlery Majestic, chaded red not the head and eye of winner, but lovely to go over, very sound and again in lovely condition. 3 Negus’s Shardaroba Rigel By Tarramist.

OD (5, 1) 1 Miss s Metcalfe’s Ch Metadale Macquarie, this shaded red was in immaculate condition, every hair gleamed, loved everything about him except his head, could just be a bit more houndy. Lovely bone and feet, excellent front assembly and ribbing and an iron back line. So very sound and in full coat. Won his C.C. with a bit in hand. For B.O.B. was more interested in the bitch than his showing. 2 Geeson’s Abydachs Oh What A Night JW, this dog is so well balanced and again so very pleasing to go over, being so well made, preferred his head to winner but not quite so positive in front. Shown in lovely condition, looked so good going round. Res C.C. 3 Mitchell’s Ch Bronia Monteo Cristo.

MPB (3, 1) 1 Jordan’s Zarcrest Blackandtantrum At Rodima, lovely quality B/T, beautiful head and eye, super neck, shoulders and front, feminine yet with lovely bone, presented a lovely picture stacked, just needs to pull herself together a little more on the move. 2 Booth & Elsey’s Abbalongdat Gimme Gimme, this dark, rich red was very naughty both on the table and on the move. Very pleasing in type, well made with good ribbing and lovely bone and feet, just a touch steep in croup and very wide coming towards at present.

PB (6, 1) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Playgirl, this clear red is so well pigmented, pleasing head, lovely to go over and so very sound, shown in lovely coat and condition. 2 Harris’s Zarcrest Oh Gosh I’m Posh, loved the head and eye on this eye-catching light red, good neck and topline too, lovely outline, super coat and presentation, needs to firm up going and coming. 3 Metcalfe’s Metadale Majorette.

JB (6, 1) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Hot Summer Nights, this red stood out for me in this class even though t she was out of coat, lovely head, classy outline, super balance, lovely neck and a sound one, quite lovely going round. Res. C.C. 2 Dare’s Bronia Huntress At Darsoms, this B/T was in immaculate condition, super bone and lovely thick padded feet, firm topline and so sound, not quite the shoulders of winner and would prefer her a touch more feminine. 3 Garlick’s Ranglewood Evelyn.

PGB (10, 2) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Pastiche, this 9 month red is a super star, nothing I would change, lovely head, super neck, immaculate to go over. Super front, super year, lovely ribs and firm backline, couldn’t believe she was at her 1st show. Showed and moved with all the style a Dachshund should have, reminded me greatly of some of the greats of the past C.C., B.O.B. and Best Puppy. Thrilled to see her Group shortlisted at this tender age. 2 Metcalfe’s Metadale Main From Michigan, dark and shown in beautiful coat and gleaming condition. So well constructed throughout and very sound, I felt she could shed a pound or two and just use herself a little more on the move. Lovely head and eye. 3 Garlick’s Charmed Camellia At Ranglewood.

LB (6, 1) Very good class. 1 Leggett’s Ranglewood Aralia of Sonsrymes, lovely clear red and quality, lovely size, good bone and feet, very pretty head and eye, so pleasing to go over and so very sound. Can be a little reluctant on the move which pegged her back a little in the challenge. Nice one. 2 Dare’s Bronia Stylistic To Darsoms, superb front and forechest on this dark shaded red, good neck, topline, feet and pigment. So stylish going round, just preferred head of winner and a touch wide coming towards. 3 Surrell’s Bokra Jazz. Res miss S Metcalfe’s Metadale Make It Happen.

OB (6, 1) 1 Mitchell’s Ch Bronia Carmelita JW, lovely red, so type and so very sound, loved her head and neckline, beautiful to go over and so very showy, shown in super condition, not quite to firm in topline today as her victors. 2 Booth & Elsey’s Darsoms Zarrival With Abbalongdat, lovely clear red, very typical in head and expression, super bone and fett, touch steep over the croup but so very sound and lovely going round. Show in sparkling condition. 3 Metcalfe’s Metadale My Way.
