A small but quality entry of well presented hounds.

PD. (2). 1. Cooper and Steadman’s, Alex’s Favourite with Merrygarth. Rich red and black 9 months old dog. Lovely head, correct mouth, dark eye. Good front and shoulder. MOved well fore and aft from well angulated quarters. Should do well. BP. 2. Chapman’s, Melminds Electrical Storm. Not so masculine as first. On finer lines. Good length of neck. Not the shoulder of first. Level topline. Moved rather erratically. Close behind.

PGD. (1). 1. Bongiovannis’, Merry Garth Greve de Lecq avec Ankors. Very nice young dog. Well made throughout. Kept his topline on the move. Not too heavily coated. Showing a lovely outline. Moved with drive, one to watch. RBD.

OD. (4). 1. Furneaux’s, Voryn’s Fellini. I have always liked this quality dog. Beautiful head, correct mouth, dark eye. Good front and shoulder, well ribbed to strong hindquarters. Kept topline on the move. He does not always do himself justice, but on the day he confounded his critics and proved how well he can moved with style. BD and BOB. 2. Cooper and Steadman’s, Darsoms Zuave at Merrygarth JW. Shaded red dog of quality. Nice head and eye, oval front. Good shoulder, well tucked in elbows. Balanced throughout. Moved well but without enthusiasm on the day. 3. Burket and Manston’s, Bonavoir Seven Sisters.

PB. (1). 1. Jordan’s, Resurgan Calypso. Pretty 10 months old b/t bitch. Nicely made though needs to tighten up in front. Good length of ribbing, kept topline on the move. Rather apprehensive but with patience will gain confidence.

PGB. (3). 1. Sutton’s, Dolan Cupid Golden Dawn at Damai. Very well handled quality bitch. Lovely feminine head and neck. Good shoulder and front. Level topline held on the move. A picture standing and a super mover. 2. Dunn’s, Albaney Danzarella. A nicely made b/t bitch. Good front well ribbed and angulated, but did not make the most of herself on the day. I think the humidity got to her and she didn’t move as well as I’m sure she can. 3. Chapman’s, Melminds Melly Mel.

OB. (2). 1. Clarke’s, Tekalhaus Krugerrand. Beautiful dark red bitch. Very feminine and elegant, well arched neck into good shoulder placement. Oval front and tight elbows. Well ribbed, strong hindquarters. Moved with drive. My only critisism is in front. BB. Unlicky to meet the BD in such good form.
