My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at this very happy and friendly show and my stewards for still going strong after a long day. Thank you. AV Vet 1 Hopper's, Montravia Nightingale. Mini W/H. Nice little bitch. Good size, well angulated shoulder. Good ribbing. Moved well. 2. Green's, Eldmour Electra. Sweet Mini L/H. Nice dark eye. Well angulated fore and aft. Moved well. Good body condition. BIS was Burke and Manston's, Bonavoir James Hobbs. B/t. L/H dog shown in excellent condition. Good head, dark almond shaped eye. Good reach of neck and well placed shoulder. His ribbing is carried well back with short loin and well muscled hindquarters. Sound happy mover. RBIS was Williams's, Wilmerella Wells Fargo JW. S/H Mini. Lovely size with just the right amount of weight. Well angulated fore and aft and an active happy mover. BPIS was Maes-Jones and Bates's, Derochaise Versage. Lovely W/H puppy showing great promise. Good head, lengthy neck into well angulated shoulders. Well ribbed and excellent turn of stifle. He moved well and in good coat. RBPIS was Norton's, Matzell Myrtle. S/H bitch shown in good condition. Well angulated fore and aft. Good ribbing and fluent mover.

Thank you so much to the committee for asking me to judge at their show. It was a very enjoyable day amongst friends and I really enjoyed myself. The dogs were better than last time I judged Miniatures and I was pleased to see there were none that looked drastically underweight. There were, however, a couple of dogs that were over long or too tall which doesn't help when trying to keep correct weight. Most displeasing thing I saw today though, was several dogs with very dirty teeth, one in particular being only 7 months old (the first Miniature Smooth I judged). It takes little effort to correct this and keep them clean so please, exhibitors, pay more attention to your dogs. P (9, 4) 1 Shutt's Donnadoon Dreamdust. Lovely 8 months bitch with nice head on a long neck, good topline and underline, nice front assembly BP. 2 Burton's Swingletrees Star Arni Dahl. 3 Stephens' Bedu Pillow Talk. J (7, 3) 1 Yeoman's Klynerbyner Trademark. 16 month c/tan dog, nice expression, well placed shoulders, good front, moved well holding topline. 2 Oxley's Dinkidax Phyllisia. 3 Gaskins Dovestream In The Red. Y (3) 1 Williams' Wilmerella Wells Fargo JW. Great showman this b/tan dog with lots of confidence, lovely head on long neck, good front, nice hindquarters, held topline at all times. Moved with drive. Pleased to give him BOB and see him go RBIS. 2 Shutt's Donnadoon Waterloo Sunset. 3 Starkey's Carpaccio Just My Luck With Hamoura. PG (2, 1) 1 Dimon's Indyvic Enchanted Onyx.
