There was a high percentage of quality in the 8 of the original 10 exhibits that made it, worried when the BOB missed the Group and thankful it was only a temporary incapacity for the exhibitor. PD (2) This duo were equally young yet at opposite ends of the weighing ban issue.
1. Sieminski’s Dallandor Burdock. 6 months, remarkably mature albeit the immediate impression was of excess size and weight, we were a couple of months into the RKC ban on weighing, such a handsome head with excellent features and expression, well formed front and bone, good backline and body proportions, full rump, harsh jacket and moved both parallel and free striding on excellent feet, sporting owner, BP. 2. Whitehouse’s Gralinn Back In Your Arms. 7 months and contrastingly underdeveloped, narrower and finer through both head and body, so relatively long and light in loin but has plenty of time to mature, excellent jacket on good overall structure, somewhat ‘busy’ on the move but parallel and engaging character. OD (3) 1. Thorn-Andrews’ Ch. Drakesleat Gud To Go. 3½ years bred in the Drakesleat purple, looks so functional and unexaggerated, conical head with taper but without losing strength of jaw, oblique eye and mobile ear giving a intelligent expression, so well angulated with excellent forearm and ground clearance, compact and muscled, best of jackets, sound out and back and gaited so well with a long stride and bold head carriage, DCC. 2. Black’s Ch. Bothlyn Back In Black Bassodon. Rising 3 years with so much to like not least in his excellent structure and beautifully conditioned body, good and proportionate length of head to a slightly arched muzzle, prefer a darker eye, excellent ears and carriage, prominent breastbone in a well formed front, well ribbed back and well boned, excellent quarters, short harsh coat, long striding with rear drive, very striking and worthy, RDCC. 3. Davison’s Meetinghouse Magyarr. SpBD (1) 1. Sieminski’s Dallandor Burdock. Repeat. BSpB. JB (1) 1. Sieminski’s Dajean Surely A Vision. 15 months of excellent breed type and developing well through her teenage phase, excellent eye and expression with a long, strong jaw, excellent body proportions with ground clearance through to a short loin, well angulated fore and aft, excellent jacket, went well overall and free standing, should hold her own as an adult. OB (4,1) An excellent trio. 1. Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Hear No Evil. Just turned 2 years, half sister to the DCC, glorious young bitch who filled my eye on sight with all confirmed when hands on, outstanding conformation and so compact with a short loin and enough ground clearance, well formed front and bone with slight crook around chest, expressive conical head with uniform taper to strong muzzle, harsh coat offset by furnishings, moved so parallel and gaited free and long aided by excellent neck and head carriage, evidently the 3rd sibling female to be taking top honours, her title should be but a formality, BCC & BOB. 2. Patton’s Ir Ch. Vandor-Vadasz Banya (imp HUN). 4½ years, just that bit longer through but superbly structured with a strong prominent breastbone and full oval thorax, arch to neck, well ribbed back, good clearance, excellent jacket, conical head had length, scoring in eye and ear, moved out well, obvious Ch. quality, RBCC. 3. Whitehouse’s Ir Ch. Gralinn Sunshine Dancer Cw 23 Cjw 23. SpBB (1) 1. Sieminski’s Dajean Surely A Vision. Repeat.
