61 Min Wire-haired Dachshund Puppy Dog
1st. Kirkwood’s BEETLEJUICE VITORAZ AT HELYDON (CZECH IMP) NAF
Very smart red puppy at just six months old. Good length of foreface and correct ear placement. Clean neck, shoulder to settle as he develops and chest will also deepen and drop. Good top line. One I will follow with great interest.
Best dog and best puppy also

1st. Kirkwood-Emery’s CH HELYDON LAIRD LOKI JW
Very nice little dog who made his handler work as he covered the ground. Classic head but a little round in the eye for me. Shoulder placement and angulation god with a balanced rear. Top line and underline correct. Moved well with real purpose. A pleasure to Judge.

1st. Russell’s SHEEZ GOT IT RUSSTECK
2nd. Dance’s EMEM LETTY BEE SUNSHINE
These were two of the nicest puppies of the day and also my hardest class. Both very nice for their ages: 1st having more of a ‘Hound’ head and 2nd was a little round in the eye for my taste. Angulation good on both front and rear, feet thick and padded. Keels were long and underline on 2nd was slightly the better. 1st had obviously worked off her weight today with excitement, super puppy with the happiest of dispositions but she looked a little empty by this point, two shows in a day wouldn’t have helped that. Movement on both was good, splitting hairs on profile.

Quite a pretty youngster when she wanted to stand but unfortunately not settled on the table or on the move.

1st. Fulton’s BOTHLYN PENNY FROM HEAVEN
Fabulous on the move. Correct front and back with good keel, topline and underline. Good ground clearance. Nice angulation. All in all a really nice bitch that was beautifully presented. Very smart.
Best bitch, best of breed and reserve best in show.
2nd Gilroy’s RUSSTECK TAKE A CHANCE ON ME CUM CLAYCHALK
Beautiful hound head with lovely eye and ear placement. Unsettled on the table and just didn’t move as well as 1st and tucked up quick underneath. Another one that could do to carry a little more weight.
69 Min Wire-haired Dachshund Limit Bitch
1st. Fulton’s JOLANDA UPTOWN GIRL AT BOTHLYN
Good head and moved with drive. Good angulation back and front. Nice top line and tail set but flagged tail a little on the move.
2nd. Kirkwood-Emery’s HELYDON NIFTY NAIRN JW
Not a lot between 1st and 2nd. 2nd a little rounder in the eye and moved well, just preferred head and angulation on 1st.
3rd Thompson’s CHARANSCO BACK TO BLACK
