I was looking forward to judging the Mini Wires, with an entry of 10. I would like to thank the competitors for letting me have the privileged of judging their dogs. This goes for all the breeds I judged that day. Overall the quality of coat is reasonable but am still finding some soft coats. The temperament in some was not as outward going as I would have liked. The temperament is as important as construction.

(2) 1 Phillips' Curtisey Boogy Woogy Nice masculine head with good reach of neck, nicely ribbed correct harsh double coat, with neat feet, good top line on the move. A little close behind on the move, otherwise well presented. RBD. 2 Warren's Grackles Starry Eyed. A different type to the first, with a good masculine head. Be careful the beard is not too much, it made the head look boxy. A good reach of neck, the coat is of good texture moved with purpose and kept a level top line. but moved a little narrow behind, coat of harsh texture, well presented.

(2) 1 Punter's Welcome Jeremy. Nice masculine head with correct ear set a good reach of neck, good ribbing and angulation well proportioned. Did not quite drive out. Good size and type. Texture of coat harsh and well presented. BD. 2 Moore's Danvichar Euphrasia. A good masculine head correct with a good reach of neck and a good shaped almond eye, well ribbed and muscled at the quarters. Good type and size. Carried himself well, just faltered at the end and made his top line go. Correct coat with a good harsh texture.

(2) 1 Black's Drakesleat Cheez Der One For Bassodon. Nice feminine head with correct ear set lovely reach of neck, nicely proportioned. Good ribbing, would prefer a more prominent front, no doubt this will come, still a young bitch. Kept a level topline on the move, good size and type but needs to relax in the ring. Well presented and handled. RBB. 2 Punter's Welcome Imagination. A good strong type with a pleasing head, A heavier type than the first, has good bone and depth in front. Ribbed with correct angulation, held her top line on the move, but did not seem to drive well. With correct harsh coat, well presented.
