I have to say I found reasonable, parallel front movement to be a problem in this entry. There were quite a few with crowded lower incisors although maintaining a scissor bite. Good coats, presentation and temperaments were in the majority.

PD (6) 1 Wilberg’s Kanix Duncan. Compact chunky little dog. Nice head, neck and level topline. Well ribbed back, good bone and feet. Good coat texture, looked super in stance and moved well. Excelling in perfect parallel front movement, which so many did not. One of the soundest in this entry. Best Puppy. 2 Morton’s Freecloud Kwikly Does It at Cotherstone. Rangier type than the winner and of good length with nice hind angulation. Very good forechest, good shoulder and upperarm. Well ribbed and moved soundly. 3 Blackburn’s Stargang Crafty Finnish.

JD (1) 1 Fulton’s Jonkaths Time Traveller to Bothlyn. Very well constructed brindle with a lovely head and neck, running into well placed shoulders with excellent prosternum. Lovely outline, moved with drive. Was very true in front and rear, on the best of legs and feet. Should have a good future. Res CC.

PGD. (5). 1. Fulton’s, Jonkaths Time Traveller to Bothlyn. 2. Dunk’s, Loretto Snuffbox. Brindle of very nice type. Lovely masculine head. Decent neck leading to nicely angulated shoulders. Well turned stifle. Sound rear movement. 3. Fox’s, Laicsyde Napoleon Solo.

LD. (5). 1. Blackburn’s, Stargang Mickey Finn. Light brindle of the type I like in super harsh coat. Looked lovely in stance and profile movement with good layback, follow through and hind angulation. Lovely head, neck and topline. Just moving close in front on the day. Maturity should help here. 2. Rowell’s, Rowdac Dejango. Light brindle of taller rangier type. Good head and neck. Moved soundly in front but preferred the coat and hindquarters of winner. 3. Hassall and McLeod’s, Janjac Costa Pack It.

OD. (2). 1. Morton’s, Dhuaig Designer Stubble at Cotherstone. Brindle of lovely style. Good head carried well on reachy neck, well laid shoulder and decent upper arm. Pronounced forechest. Moved soundly and with alacrity keeping a lovely profile all times. Well ribbed back body with substance. Super temperament. Never stopped showing. CC his second and BOB. 2. Rowell’s, Rowdac Dejango.

PB. (8). 1. Russell’s, Stargang Crafty Music for Russteck. Very nice type starting with head, neck and topline. Compact well ribbed body. Kept a good profile with sound movement from all angles. Not the front movement of the PD but very nice. 2. Hanney’s, Bronia Magic Wanda. Red brindle of lovely type. Excellent forehand and ribbing. Nice hind and turn of stifle. Thought she was my winner but needs to settle. Also to lose a shade of weight. 3. Fulton’s, Bothlyn Blue Whisper.

JB. (2). 1. Wilberg’s, Stargang Picket Line at Kanix. Good head and length of neck. Level topline. Very free mover. Outline kept at all times. Well angulated shoulders. Good ribbing and follow through to nicely turned quarters. Lovely parallel front movement. Harsh well presented coat. Super temperament. Maturing nicely. RCC. 2. Stockdale’s, Russteck Honeysuckle at Stockcroft. Lengthy exhibit. Looked good in stance. Needs to settle on the move.

PGB. (9). 1. Blackburn’s, Stargang Encore. Brindle. Good harsh coat. Very feminine. Pleasing compact type in a small package. Moved well keeping a good topline. 2. MacDonough’s, Beckel Flutterby Bothlyn. Very nice grey. Longer cast, well ribbed. Good all round. Just preferred the head of winner. 3. Fieke’s, Lustrum Mischief Maker.

LB. (7). 1. Sexton’s, Freecloud Mum’s the Word. Lovely head and furnishings with decent length of muzzle. Reachy neck, level top at all times. Excelled in forehand with good prosternum. Perfect parallel front movement, a joy to see. Good follow through. Nice turn of quarters. Excellent side gait. Was moved a little too fast at times. CC. 2. Blackburn’s, Stargang Blue Freckles. Dapple of great quality. Very good forehand, body well ribbed back. Very sound all round. Just preferred the head of winner. 3. Morton’s, Cotherstone Past ‘n’ Present.

OB. (4). 1. Wilberg’s, Ch. Kanix Audrey. Brindle with excellent profile movement with reach and extension of well turned quarters. Well constructed forehand. True front movement, best of legs and feet. Appealing head, eye and expression. Hard to fault. Just lost topline a shade on the move. 2. Blackburn’s, Stargang Karaoke Queen. Dapple, looked a picture in stance with well angulated forehand. Good body and ribbing. Good outline on the move but I preferred the front of winner. 3. Thomson’s, Larklinn’s Destiny.
