I would like to commend the exhibitors for the positive way they received their awards both within & outside the ring. I would also like to congratulate them on the condition of the exhibits that came under me. All were in firm condition with clean teeth, shinny well groomed coats & short nails.Temperaments were on the whole very good with only a few being a little phased by being on the table but then settled on the move. Generally exhibits were of good type and movement on the whole was very good. However, I found a significant number of examples with short keels, short upper arms and loose elbows which impacted negatively on both their movement and outline, particularly when freestanding. I would have also liked to have seen more ground clearance and length coming from the ribbing rather than the loin. This resulted in otherwise quality exhibits appearing to be overly long, as defined by the standard. This coupled with size proved to be a key deciding factor in many of my decisions.

1ST - Indiko Fire and Ice (Mrs K M Drady) A delightful cream, nice outline. Correct head with dark eye. Good hind action. Correct front developing nicely. Well made body of good length. Moved round the ring well, keeping topline at all times.
2ND - Cheritondax Malbec (Mrs P Cox) Elegant Red similar in many ways to1. Good head and eye held on elegant neck. Front correct with sufficient ribbing. Moved freely with confidence just needs to form behind to reach full potential.

1ST - Restinim Mr Pip (Rev A Fairchild) B/T pleasing head and eye shape, well set ears and good eye colour, well bodied and presented, sufficient for chest and spring of rib, short loin. Needs to settle on the move and I am sure with time this will come. Promising youngster.
2ND - Hanburydax Life of Riley (Mrs V Findlay) More compact yet elegant youngster. Good head and expression. Front correct with sufficient ribbing, short loin. Compact loin. Moved with enthusiasm. Still to fill but full of potential. I just preferred the overall balance of 1.

1ST - Scrumptious Red On The Dot JW (Mrs C May) This little fellow caught my eye from the moment he entered the ring. A dark red whose type I loved, masculine head with the darkest eyes without any sign of coarseness, long well arched neck which carried beautifully on the move. Super body & ribbing, good spring of rib for age, correct height to length ratios, strong well filled loins, neat short hocks. Moving away he is very sound and has plenty of drive. Held outline and top-LINE at all times. Moved with good reach and drive & enthusiasm. One to watch. A close run thing for the CC but still has to finish. RCC
2ND - Rivandell Sirius Black (Mr L Thomson) Well presented but not quite the balance of 1. Good head and eye held on strong neck chest and ribbing correctly constructed, sound hind movement, and moved well but not quite the drive of 1.

1ST - Ch Zarcrest Red in The Room JW (Miss O & Mr L Dalton & Beach) Classy larger red with Super masculine head and dark eye. Good bone and feet. Well balanced & angulated front and back, with good ribbing, short loin & nicely muscled hindquarters. Sound and typical.Very pleasing to go over being so well balanced. I particularly liked his hind action which gave him plenty extension on the move. Considered for top honours.
2ND - Hanishan Firery Fox (Mrs C May) Another Attractive red, with real show attitude. Good head & expression with the dark almond shaped eyes, well arched neck leading into good shoulders, tight elbows. Sufficient forechest & width, good ribbing with level topline. Well made quarters that are strong with plenty of length of second thigh on neat short hocks. Sound coming but needs to firm going away.

1ST - Revdvicki's Theodore by Urishay (Mr P & Mrs A Latham-Jackson) Quality Black and Tan, being slightly higher off the ground, which is good to see. Very sound eye-catching overall outline and holds his shape at all times on the move. Strong, attractive masculine head, carried proudly on reachy neck. He has good shoulders, tight elbows a firm level topline and sweeping underline. Well angulated hindquarters complete the picture. Moved freely in profile, holding topline at all times.
2ND - Code Red Again at Arlatdax (Miss C & Miss C Morrin & Barbi) larger dark red with no exaggerations. He has a strong, masculine head with dark, correctly shaped eyes. Acceptable shoulder placement, forechest and overall body shape. Moderate hind angulation. Moved freely in profile and kept his shape.

1ST - Nagshall Dyce The Ice JW (Mrs C Mccarthy) Elegant Cream, slightly longer-bodied. Lovely bone and substance throughout. Sound shoulders with full forechest and tight elbows. Moderate hind angulation. Moved parallel up and back. He carries a level topline on the move and keeps his shape well.
2ND - Pettigans Bring Me Sunshine TAF (Mrs S E Phillips) A sound well balanced dog, houndy head with well shaped eyes. Strong neck held on good well ribbed chest but not the length of keel of 1. Tight well kept feet. A well shaped rear with good movement. Fluid sound movement holding topline at all times.

1ST - Ch Summerview Hello Hugo JW (Mrs J & Mr P Phillips) Quality black and tan of elegant type and correct size. Good clearance of ground which was used to advantage on the move. Correct masculine head, carried on elegant neck flowing into well laid back shoulders well sprung for size, a firm, level topline and sweeping underline. Well angulated and balanced hindquarters complete the picture. A dog with eye-catching overall outline, which allows him to hold his shape at all times. DCC
2ND - Ch Ralines Just Jiles (Mrs A Wallace) Masculine dog of correct type & proportions, good head & expression, held on long well arched neck, good shoulders & tight elbows, nails could be darker, prominent pro sternum, full well sprung ribbing extending well back. Short loin, strong hocks & full quarters, very sound coming & going. Maintained profile at all times Just preferred the overall balance and size of 1.

1ST - Ralines Strike A Pose Dandydayo (Mr A Whitfield-Roberts) Beautiful shaded red of ideal size. Caught my eye on entering the ring as a result of her super balance & conformation. Feminine well proportioned head with dark almond eyes. Well arched neck flowing into excellent shoulders on correct forechest for her age, with good spring of rib, firm topline and underline. Well angulated hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Moved out with fluidity and held her shape at all times, parallel up and back. One for the future I feel. BP
2ND - Urishay Quizzle (Mr P & Mrs A Latham-Jackson) A well balanced B/T of larger size. Correct head and dark eye. Strong neck flowing into laid back shoulders. Pleasing overall body shape and is not over-coated. Her hindquarters are well angulated with short rear pasterns, moved parallel out and back, but holding outline at all times.

1ST - Nagshall Gosh How Posh (Mrs C Mccarthy) Attractive head and expression with lovely dark eyes and good pigmentation. Pronounced breastbone and good keel. We’ll let down strong hocks & full quarters. Nicely rounded rump. Moved well with reach and drive.
2ND - Findowrie Elana Rose (Mrs M E Poole) Well balanced, Good head shape and dark eye. Good reach of neck flowing into adequate shoulders. Short loin, strong hocks & full quarters, very sound coming & going. Maintained profile at all times Just preferred the overall balance and size of 1.

1ST - Revdvicki’s Dorothea (Rev V.Burrows) well balanced with no exaggeration. Correct head with alert expression and dark, correctly shaped eyes. Strong neck with correct shoulder placement, on wellbsprung ribs. Good forechest and overall body shape. Adequate hind angulation. Moved freely in profile and kept shape the best in this class. Just needed to settle on the table but moved with confidence.
2ND - Barlaine Midsummer Magic (Miss P Mcsorley). Slightly different overall style as she is longer-bodied than 1, but equally as appealing for her high level of quality of conformation, presentation and movement. Elegant outline with attractive head, carried on a good length of neck. She has well placed shoulders and good overall body shape, although she needs to firm up a little in topline which will hopefully come with maturity. Pleasing parallel up and back action and fluid action in profile.

1ST - Crownlakes Million Dreams (Miss D Mason) Lovely rich red, presented in beautiful condition. Correct, compact overall outline. Good head and expression, held on elegant neck running into well sprung ribs. Well angulated in both fore and hindquarters. Very pleasing overall body shape with firm topline which is held on the move. Moved with confidence.
2ND - Ciselsig Hey There Delilah JW (Miss B A Ham) Another beautiful, feminine bitch with compact overall outline. Well angulated in both fore and hindquarters. Very pleasing overall body shape with good spring of rib and firm topline. Confident mover who held her shape well in profile, however, just moving slightly narrower in front than ideal, hence 2nd place.

1ST - Jaxrubydax Brighten My Day (Mrs J Pretty) Compact with best overall shape in this class. Correct head held on strong neck on well sprung ribbing with prominent forechest. Good topline and overall body shape.moved with balance and enthusiasm.
2ND - Minard Whispering Angel at Treranch (Mrs P G Westaway) Light red with more compact overall outline than 1st. Sound conformation and movement. Attractive head, reasonable neck and shoulders, good top and underline. Pleasing overall body shape with good spring of rib. Moved freely and kept her shape well in profile.

1ST - Rivandell Osha (Miss A Holtom) Eye catching classy cream. Lovely head with dark almond eye held on strong neck running smoothly into full well sprung chest. Good shoulder placement. Lovely hind movement and angulation, sound topline. Move with drive and determination.
2ND - Ralines Tina Peaches (Mrs A Wallace) Red with excellent head & expression with dark almond eyes, long well arched neck, good shoulders & length of upper arm, well made front with prominent forechest, very good body & ribbing with correct top & underlines, strong loins, hocks are neat & parallel. She moved out coming & going quite precisely with no sign of any narrowness, needed to move a little more enthusiasm to make the most of her qualities.

1ST - Halunke Tzarina (Mrs D M Norton) This beautiful black and tan really caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring, standing out with her overall outline where her excellent conformation shone was self evident. Excellent head with strong, long muzzle and powerful jaw. Her eyes are the correct shape and size. Lovely length of neck which flows into textbook shoulders. She has correct forechest, body shape and firm topline. Well angulated hindquarters. Sound out and back, she had free, fluid profile movement, where she held outline at all times. Close run decision for CC.
2ND - Nagshall The Odd Excuse JW (Mrs C Mccarthy) Attractive bitch with a pleasing head. Super head and expression held on elegant neck over full rib, prominent forchest. Good length of rib and strong loin giving her a firm topline. Sound and assured on the move holding topline at all times. Just lost out to overall quality of 1.

Correct overall proportions and so well balanced. A pleasure to go over everything fitting together seamlessly. Feminine head with correct shaped eyes. Held on good reach of neck which flows into correctly laid shoulders, with good length of upper arm and good forechest with excellent spring of rib. Firm, level topline, with flowing underline. Well angulated hindquarters which are totally in balance with her forequarters. Moved with absolutely accurate, true and parallel action out and back. BCC & BOB.
2ND - Wildstar Wrolanda (Mr R Wood) Another quality bitch of excellent type. Correct head and expression held on long well arched neck, good shoulders & length of upper arm, well made front with prominent forechest, full well sprung chest with good ribbing and correct top & underlines, strong loins, hocks are neat & parallel. She moved out coming & going quite precisely with no sign of any narrowness. Holding a level topline at all times. RCC.
