I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entries, as I was not the scheduled judge, unfortunately Antony Bongiovanni  should have been judging but due to Covid was unable to come back to the UK in time for the show, I hope in time Anthony is able to fulfil his appointment.

I think overall that the bitches have the edge over the dogs. Weighing the exhibits was interesting.  I had to ask 1 exhibitor to move away from the scales as they seemed to want to influence the weight, I had no issues  with any of the exhibits only 1 was close to the top weight but that did not change my opinion, teeth on the whole were very clean. My only concern is the lack of pro-sternum on some exhibits finished just behind the front legs. Temperaments were excellent.

I would also like to thank my Stewards Vicky Wand and Geraldine Brace who kept me and the exhibitors in good order.

2nd Johnson:  Charpurdy’s Royal Oak: Nice outline when standing, good head , long neck, well laid shoulders, but a bit short in upper arm, , good body, and ribbing, holds a firm topline,  well made rear, I just like 1 for his light free movement

3rd Phillips: Fallingwater First Light TAF

Junior Dog 5 Entries

1st Lockett-Walters: Hutzpah Heathcliffe At Ralines;  Cream,  I loved this boy the moment he entered the ring, The best mover in the class, Excellent head and expression, good length of neck, leading into well laid, shoulders, pronounced  forechest, which produced a  good length of ribbing, movement true both coming and going, showing a clean pair of heels,  RCC

2nd Russell’s : Russteck Moonbeam: B/T, Unlucky to meet 1 in such fine form, I liked his head nice dark eye,  good length of neck, good oval front, well paddedfeet and bone, looked a picture in profile, good length of ribbing, very true on the move.

3rd Fairchild’s: Restinim Torandot

Yearling  Dog 2 Entries/1 Absent

1st Russell:  Russteck Moonbeam.

Post Graduate Dog  3 Entries

1st Russell: Russteck Moonbeam

2nd Broad’s : Dinkidax Dionysus: Red, with a head of good proportions, he has a pronounced chest, good tight feet,, good shoulder placement, could probably  do with a slightly longer neck, which would then make his outline balanced, , his movement  was positive, just preferred the hind movement of 1 which was slightly more positive.

3rd Phillip’s: Rossdach Rockspirit

Limit Dog   6 Entries/ 2 Absent

1st Hall’s Cliffmere Woodman:  S/R. Beautifly balanced dog, I liked his head, lovely dark eye, good front and long neck, with well padded feet,, good bone,  well placed shoulders which flowed into his topline,  lovely angulations’, really good mover, who covered the ground with ease, challenged hard for top honours.

2nd Weston & Johnson’s: Ecotyne Devil’s Advocate:  Lovely sound dog, retains such a good outline, good head and front, shoulder placement ok, well ribbed, , good bend of stifle, moved well but preferred the total movement of 1.

3rd Phillip’s Summerview Yogi Bear Jw

Open Dog  6 entries/ 1 Absent

1st Wood’s Wildstar Wreward: Another from this excellent Kennel,  A  very strong open class the dog class of the day, stood away today in this class, outmoved most, lovely head and dark eye,  Strong neck, Good wrap around front, well ribbed, good shoulder  placement which flow into his topline, nothing sticks out it all flows, very sound movement who also show a clean pair of heels,  his 3CC  Congratulations.

2nd Graham’s Jadag Herr Bjorn:  So unlucky to meet 1 in such fine form, different type to 1, full of quality, good head, lengthy arched neck, tight well padded feet, good  shoulder placement, well ribbed which goes well back, liked his hindquarters which he used well, saying that rear  movement possibly not as positive as 1, I just wish I had more CC to give out.

3rd Latham-Jackson’s Dolyharp Purc ell Of Urishay

Veteran Bitch   No Entries

Minor Puppy Bitch  1 entry

1st Franklin’s: Ydale Willow Ways Love You; Very pretty girl, showed well for 1 so young, good head  and  front, tight feet, good spring of rib, very immature but with a lot of promise ,movement a little erratic , as she was full of the joys of spring, but she has chance to improve, would like to see her in a year’s time.

Puppy Bitch  6 Entries/ 1 Absent

1st Wood’s: Wildstar Wrolanda:  Another from this amazing kennel, she took my eye as she entered the ring, she has a look at me attitude, feminine head, correct dark eye, and expression, super forechest and feet, liked her shoulder placement, good length of  upper arm, excellent length of neck, good topline and underline, moved with purpose and drive, liked her a lot will watch her career with interest. BPB. BP. BPIS!

2nd Williamson Wildstar Wrobina At Barkroyal: I hate to do this but the above comments equally apply to this young lady who is litter sister to 1, they are both going to change places throughout their careers, to have bred 2 such lovely girls is remarkable, The only difference on the day was that she didn’t come into the ring with as much attitude as her sister. 2 lovely girls.

3rd Mason’s Crownlake’s Queen Bea

Junior Bitch   7 Entries /2 Absent/ 1 Withdrawn

1st Whitfield-Roberts’s;  Dandydayo Kiss The Girl:  A red girl with such appeal, lovely to go over, well covered, she has a good front assembly, coming from a lovely oval front, good length of upper arm, well placed shoulders and tight elbows which  allows her topline to flow, good ribbing and well muscled rear, she moved with aplomb, her tail never stopped wagging she was really enjoying herself, I  liked her a lot. RCC

2nd Walter’s: Ralines Lemontini:  I liked this girl when she entered the ring, she is a lovely cream, with the most beautiful eyes, very nice to go over but she lacks confidence,  lovely head, beautiful dark eye, with amazing pigmentation making everything stand out, good front, well boned feet, length of upper arm ok, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders and again shoulders flow into topline, good length of ribbing and nice behind, when she has overcome her shyness and gets some outside experience i think she will fly, lovely couple of bitches

3rd Phillip’s Summerview Holly Would

Yearling Bitch:  4 entries/ 1 Absent

1st Latham-Jackson’s Urishay Pennyroyal: Holds herself well, free moving red of quality, liked her head, dark eye, good neck and forechest, good length of vupper arm, her angulation is balanced, uses rear well.

2nd Poole’s Findowrie Miss Mckfee:  Another pretty bitch with a good body shape, I liked her head, good length of neck, nice width to her front, good length of upper arm, shoulder placement ok, held her topline on the move, correct driving action.

2nd Larden’s: Bronia Red  Ruby:  Lovely coated red, nice for type ,conical head, dark well shaped eye,  would like a touch more front, nice tight well padded feet,  good reach of neck, flowing into well placed shoulders, topline & underline ok, moved true both ways.

3rd Daly’s; Naperville Shady Lady

Limit Bitch  8 Entries

1st Walters’s:  Ralines Party Politics: This girl took my eye when she entered the ring, Black/cream with dark pigment, top drawer type from this kennel, quality all through, beautiful head with lovely shaped dark eye, lengthy neck, tight front, good length of upper arm, tight well padded feet, underline goes well back, good spring of rib, well coupled, powerful quarters, certainly moved with drive. CC, she was my BOB then delighted to see her go BIS.

2nd Geeson’s:  Abydachs  All About Me:  Another lovely Black /Cream,  Quality exhibit with plenty to admire, Scores in head, eye and expression. Plenty of neck with a well filled fore chest,  well placed shoulders, which flow into topline, tight elbows , underline goes well back, good spring of rib with a good topline, moved very well, Unlucky to meet 1 in such sparkling form.

3rd Wood’s: Wildstar Wrivere

Open Bitch  3 Entries

1st Geeson’s Abydach Alchmy; Another quality exhibit from this kennel, she has lovely dark eyes. An excellent head shape set on an elegant neck, down into a correctly angulated front, good length of upper arm with lovely well padded tight feet, shoulders flow into her topline.  Well sprung ribs in proportion to the overall picture. Very strong rear angulation which she uses to her advantage, just lost her sparkle in the challenge.

2nd Wood’s: Wildstar Wreeva:  Another quality bitch from this kennel. Pleasing exhibit of good proportions. Good dark eye and pigment, front assembly ok but would prefer a little more pro-sternum, elegant reach of neck into good layback of shoulders,  well sprung ribs, underline and topline ok. Moved with drive but preferred the overall picture of 1. A couple of really nice bitches.

3rd Frankin’s: Ydale The Sky’s The Limit
