MPD (2) Two babies of 6 months. 1 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Bubbles. Well marked choc dapple, masculine head, dark eye, wide in front as yet, well ribbed, super topline, uses rear better than two, balanced angulation. 2 Holden’s Lyndarlea Black Ace. Beautiful head, dark eyes, ok for neck, well laid shoulder, needs to tighten in elbow, well ribbed back.

PD(2) 1 Holden’s Senlepabu Saint Valentine. Super pup of 7 months, excellent outline, maintained on the move, very good head, ok in neck, good front, just a bit low at wither, well ribbed, enough hind angulation, very sound. 2 Woodage’s Totoman Toscanini. Very dark and showy boy, bit broad in skull and round in eye, ok for neck, nice proportions, good forechest, not the shoulder of one, ribs cut up a bit, super muscle to rear.

JD(5, 2) Disappointing class. 1 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Atlantica. Nice type dog with very good head, long neck, fair front with a good forechest, good bone and feet, looses topline moving and is short of ribbing, well bent stifle and cow hocks, true moving. 2 Halsall’s Kiddles Medusa. Masculine boy, dark eyes, ok in neck, turns feet out a bit and is slightly narrow in front, ok for ribs, well made rear, arches back a bit. 3 Palin’s Sanmik Pikcard.

PGD(4) 1 Poole’s Findowrie City Slicker. Looks so good moving round ring, level topline and uses rear quite well, head spoilt by light eyes, lengthy neck, fair front with good forechest and ribs go well back, well made rear, topline better moving than standing. RCC. 2 Richardson’s Sirrondach Ayrton Senna. Very good to go over, just a bit over size but very well covered, super head and dark eyes for a choc, good lay of shoulders and return of upper arm, level topline, tummy taps a bit behind. 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall All Guns Blazing.

LD(7, 2) 1 Lockett-Walters’ Metadale Dick Turpin. Won class on his true Dachshund type and outline, could have a stronger head, lengthy neck, best shoulder and upper arm so far, turns feet out a bit, level topline, good ribs, well bent stifle and low hocks, so true coming, could drive in rear a bit. CC on type. 2 Hallett’s Cagebrook Jimmy Choo At Loretto. Beautiful head and handler presents him so well, balanced angulation, just a little up in the air, good topline, nice bone and feet, correct coat, could have more stride. 3 Richardson’s Sirrondach Ebony Damon Hill.

OD(4, 2) Both quite different and not much between them. 1 Brooks’ Layways Piper For Lyndarlea. Super presentation, masculine cream boy with darkest of eyes, a bit more neck than two, good front, feet flat, would like more angle in rear and less slope to croup, level topline. 2 Poole’s Findowrie Skye Lord. Very good head, ok in neck, good forechest, feet flat and turn out too much, correct length, tummy taps a bit.

MPB(5, 2) 1 Rees’ Rafthouse Classic Cliche At Amical. Quite forward and of very good Dachshund type, could be a bit more feminine in head and better shaped eye, good neck, well laid shoulder with correct angle to long upper arm, topline ok, good length keel and rib, fair rear, moves out well. BP. 2 Woodage’s Rossdach Secret Society For Totonian. Very much a baby, very feminine girl, ok for neck, could have better lay of shoulder, holds topline well, promising. 3 Kermode’s Kingsdax Kream Delight.

PB(4, 1) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Angelica. Super head and eye, very full coated girl, could use just a bit more neck, super topline, ok for ribs, enough forechest, can tighten in feet, moves out well and time will make her that bit truer, super presentation, didn’t go so well for BP. 2 Holden’s Dinkidax Ebony And Ivory. Raw looking girl of nice type, very good feminine head, ok for neck, feet can improve, a bit steep in croup, fair mover, needs time. 3 Woodage’s Rossdach Secret Society For Totonian.

JB (10, 1) Nice class. 1 Way’s Ralines Butternut Posh. Super proportions and when she keeps her tail down looks a picture going around, very good head with darkest of eyes, good neck, maybe a bit overcrooked, super body, good front, holds a firm topline, uses rear well. 2 Norton’s Halunke’s Gabriella. Out of coat but a super shape and balance, feminine head, good neck, level topline, goes well holding outline. 3 Turner’s Rafthouse Eternity.

PGB(8) 1 Anlear’s Ridgegrove Silver Sixpence. Lovely Dachshund proportions, could loose some weight to advantage, feminine head, lengthy neck, very good front and forechest, well ribbed, neat rear, moves well, colour could be better. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Daisy Duke. Elegant type of girl, very feminine all through, dark eyes with good head, lengthy neck, good chest, topline ok, could have more hind angulation, honest and useful sort. 3 Welton’s Chelane Pure Magic.

LB(9, 3) 1 Lockett-Walters’ Ralines Aubra Jean. Super bitch, feminine and full of quality, lovely head, long neck, super front with prominent breast bone, well ribbed, super rear, can just arch a little moving but absolutely true and has long and free stride. CC and BOB. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall My Fair Maiden. Very good type bitch, can’t match hindquarters of one, very good head, enough neck, good front, holds a level topline. 3 Fisher’s Rugosa Dawn Sunshine.

OB(7, 3) 1 Norton’s Halunke Shallimar. Very good type bitch who moves very well, feminine in head, good neck, well made front, would like better feet, good ribs, holds a firm topline, well bent stifle, with cow hocks. RCC. 2 Holmes’ Ch Tammera Touch Of Elegance. Nice outline and type, could just use rear more, feminine head, just a bit pinched below eyes, good neck, well made front, slightly flat feet, well ribbed and holds firm topline, quality girl. 3 Palin’s Sanmik Kess.

Jeff Horswell
