MINIATURE LONG HAIRED

Numerically an excellent entry. Quality was like the curates egg, good in parts, the good were excellent, the rest worried me. I would have been happy to give a CC to several dogs & bitches. Presentation & temperaments were good. Short ribbing & forward shoulders seemed to be the norm. There were one or two who were on the thin side but not to the extent I thought they were undernourished.

MPD (6,1a) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Aftershock, red, most lovely puppy, very immature but his construction & movement were excellent. My only reservation, I hope he doesn’t grow on; 2 Backshaw & Roberts’ Ravenways Tornero, b/t, promising baby, prominent forechest, well off for bone, shorter second thigh than 1; 3 Woodage’s Totonian Toscanini. PD (7,1) 1 Cooper’s Jealroie Sir Percival at Jumanda, red, excellent pigmentation, conical head, well shaped almond eye, correct size, well covered & construction was correct; 2 Millward’s Messines Royal Acclamation, cream, nice shape, good length of neck, pretty head, kept a level topline; 3 Graham’s Jadag Fornton’s Carmel. JD (7,1) 1 Poole’s Findowrie City Slicker, masculine looking exhibit with just enough coat, this allowed me to see his well constructed quarters & good length of ribbing, good profile on the move; 2 Roberts’ Denver Dream Lover, pretty cream, longer in body than 1, narrower in front. Lovely bone & feet, in the usual immaculate condition one expects from this kennel; 3 Lockett-Walters’ Raliens Red Kuri. BD (4) 1 McCarthy’s Nagshall All Guns Blazing, b/t, plainer in head, very athletic easy mover, good bone; 2 Hughes’ Trefanney Vinny Van Go, choc/dapple, front I prefer to 1 but not so good behind, this showed on the move; 3 Brearley’s Lyndarlea Silver Wave at Xanadax. PGD (6,1) 1 Booth’s Asbach Andreas, very promising sh/r, just needs more confidence to show off his many virtues. Nice size, particularly liked his front construction; 2 Fsandi’s Rugosa Saint Barnabas, larger cream, correct dark pigmentation, looked better on the move than stacked; 3 Duncan’s Rugosa Mr Wagtail. LD (7) Class of quality dogs. 1 Wood’s Wildstar Wrenowned, b/t, placed 1 over 2 because of his calm attitude, head masculine without being coarse. Profuse coat tends to make him look slightly stuffy in neck but this is not so on examination. Well boned, good construction, very fluid mover. RCC; 2 Young’s Willowheath Hendrix, close up to 1, just not so settled. Excellent front construction, one of the few prominent forechests, kept his lovely outline stacked & on the move; 3 King’s Kingsdax Regal Knight. OD (11,3) I was spoiled for choice in this class. 1 Oxley’s Ch Wildhatch Cropston Boy of Dinkidax, well coated b/br in lovely bloom, masculine head, good length of neck, neat shoulders, well ribbed back, level topline at all times, neat hocks, scores on movement. CC; 2 Poole’s Findowrie Sky Lord, red, quality exhibits from this breeder, correct size & shape, good bone, level topline on move; 3 Lockett-Walters’ Metadale Dick Turpin. V (5,1) 1 Broadwood’s Jenwood Ring Of Bells, red, looks good for his age, in excellent bloom, correct shape stacked & on the move; 2 Shutt’s Ir Ch Jadag Kadbry Rose of Donnadoonn, choc/dapple who I thought would be my class winner but her handler had to rush in from another ring & she did not really settle to the task. Pretty head, well constructed; 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Cream Toffee.

MPB (6) 1 Blackshaw’s Ravenways What About Us, pretty cream who pleased me greatly, feminine outlook, well off for bone, correct construction, prominent forechest, very sound mover. BP; 2 Young’s Willowheath Madonna, b/t, nice exhibit, just not so together on the move, looked good stacked; 3 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Holly Berry. PB (11,1) 1 Young’s Willowheath Frosting Angel, silver/dapple, most attractive head, promising forechest, plenty of bone, nice shape, confident on the move; 2 Lake’s Messines Kreme Kake at Ollyrue, cream, excellent dark pigmentation, good body proportions. Not so steady on the move as 1; 3 Brown’s Donnnadoon Hollyberry at Garbosa. JB (12,2) 1 Roberts’ Denver Sugar Babe, quality cream who pleased me greatly, feminine head, dark well shaped eye, correct body proportions & topline, moved so soundly, lovely profile at all times. RCC; 2 Lockett-Walters’ Ralines Aubra Jean, b/cr, lovely bitch, so well balanced, has a lot to commend her, feminine outlook, in good coat & condition, well handled; 3 Breese’s Chriskims Sun Kissed with Silkdown. BB (6) 1 Fisher’s Rugosa Dawn Sunshine, red, very presentable bitch, scored over 1 in head, sound mover, good bone & feet; 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall My Fair Maiden, feminine cream, correct size, good bone, looked better stacked; 3 Bell’s Talberg Holly’s Little Tilly. PGB (14,2) 1 Palin’s Sanmik Kess, cream, attractive head, nice dark eye, correct make & shape, sound on the move, scored over 2 on length of body; 2 Welton’s Chelane Pure Magic, b/t, pretty head, well balanced body proportions, neat hindquarters, sound mover; 3 Norton’s Halunke Casalani. LB (7,2) 1 Cooper’s Jumandas Gypsy Rose, silver dapple who I have often admired, so well balanced, very sound on the move, covering a lot of ground; 2 Palin’s Sanmik Belhanna, quality b/t who came into her own on the move; 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Pickety Witch. OB (14,6) 1 Norton’s Halunke Shalimar, red, just loved this bitch, it was a pleasure to go over her, so feminine, conical head, correct almond eye, good length of neck, correctly placed shoulders, good length of ribbing, neat hindquarters, so sound on the move, in lovely coat. CC & BOB; 2 Brown’s Ch Garbosa Chocolate Vogue, stylish choc, lovely bitch, close up to 1, correct shoulder placement, good length of ribbing. Just not the coat condition of 1; 3 Holmes’ Ch Tammera Touch Of Elegance.
