I very much enjoyed my day judging Min Longs and thank the exhibitors for the lovely entry.

MPD. (4). 1. Rees’s, Yumares Oliver Mac. 7 months old baby who shows promise. Sweet head, good shoulder placement. Moved well given his age. 2. Burrs’, Burrdach Jack in the Box. Very immature al present but has time on his side. 3. Bowman-Davies’s, Timshaws Storm Keeper. Very much a baby who moved ok but needs lots of time to mature.

PD. (3). 1. Welton’s, Chelane Casper Carrot. Young puppy who is a confident lad. Nice type. Lovely reach of neck and fair shoulders. Good top and underline. Moved well for a youngster. 2. Norton’s, Halunce Just Jervis. Sired by my CC winner and of a nice type again, but has a lot of maturing to do. 3. Bowman-Davies’s, Timshaws Storm Warning. Very much the baby of the class, again needs time. Movement erratic but may improve with age.

JD. (5). 1. Brooks’, Lyndarlea Choc Ice. I really liked this young body of excellent type. Nice head, good front, top and underline. Moved well front and back. I would compiment this exhibitor on the type of dog she shows. As all her exhibits were of the same type. 2. Rees’s, Yumares Nicholas. Nice reach of neck. Fair reach of forechest. Good topline kept on the move. Showed well. 3. Croxfords’, Arbroath Lord of the Glen. Unlucky to meet the winner. His topline needs to improve.

GD. (2). 1. Hartleys’, Tialamour Destiny Calls for Lyrosh. Reserve in previous class. Nice type of boy. Lovely head and eye, but on the day his movement both fore and back was very untrue. 2. Cooper’s, Classidax Paddy by Jumanda.

PGD. (6). 1. Butlers’, Maundowne Momentum. I thought this lad was of excellent type. Nice head. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Good top and underline. Moved well, one who should do well. 2. Brooks’, Lyndarlea Earth Tremor. Another from this kennel who pleased me. Same remarks apply as winner although on the day his movement was not as true behind. Could have been the heat. 3. Pooles’, Findowrie Man About Town. Compleated a trio of nice dogs. Unlucky to come up against the winners.

LD. (5). 1. Brookes’, Darknight Black Magic at Lyndarlea. Liked this one. Excellent outline. Good front. Topline kept well on the move. Underline ok. Nice reach of neck into well angulated shoulders. Altogether a very nice picture. 2. Coopers’, Gayvilles Northern Lad at Jumanda. Different type. Again with a great deal to admire, but didn;t keep his outline so well on the move as winner. 3. Pooles’, Findowie Society Guy.

OD. (6). 1. Lockett and Lockett-Walters’, Ch. Ralines Royal States. This dog has quality stamped all over, from his lovely head, good reach of forechest, long neck into excellent should. Good topline and undrline and free flowing movement. He won the CC with quite a lot in hand. Thankyou for bringing him under me. 2. Farmer’s, Jenwood Fields of Gold. Very nice type of dog who takes your eye. He is every inch a Champion which I was later told he now is, was just unlucky to meet Statesman, but a very well deserved Res CC. 3 Bedford’s Dinkidudlor Bracken Buara. Completed a lovely trio of quality dogs.

MPB (11) 1 Turner’s Rafthouse Tickety Boo. Just my type, I couldn’t take my eyes off her, for she just stood out. She has a lovely head and eye, excellent forechest, superb top and underline. Strong hindquarters - add to this her free flowing movement, which just comes naturally to her, and you have the complete package! All this at only 6 months old. She must have the brightest of futures ahead. Best Puppy. 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Saphire. Another quality baby who has excellent proportions, strong hindquarters and a good topline, retained on the move. Just preferred the overall type and balance of the winner, but will do well in the future. 3 Hall’s Cliffmere Dandelion. Another baby I would like to see in 6 months time with maturity. As you would expect the heat didn’t help her movement on the day, but to go over and on the table she is quality.

PB (5) 1 Hanney’s Bronia Serenity. Sweet puppy who has substance, pleasing head and eye. Nice shoulder angulation, good topline and well rounded quarters. Moved well. 2 Welton’s Cheiane Royal Courtesan. Good forechest, neat feet and shoulders. Good topline, underline could be slightly further back. Moved fairly. 3 Hall’s Cliffmere Dandelion.

JB (8) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Attitude. I liked this young lady a great deal, of the type I like from her lovely head to her true free movement. She is total quality, she should make up with ease. 2 Roberts’ Denver Suri Wong. Unlucky to meet the winner for she has good depth of body, fair forechest and shoulders. Neat underline. Moved ok. 3. Brooks’, Diquest Ebonie at Lyndarlea. Another quality exhibit from this kennel who are to be admired for there type.

GB. (6). 1. Bowman-Davies’s, Timshaws Majic Dragon. Quality head. Good reach of neck. Topline ok. Moved fairly. 2. Edwards’, Barok Zola Bella. Sweet bitch who moved fairly but didn’t like the heat. 3. Weitons’, Chelane Enchantress.

PGB. (12). 1. Boyles’, Zarcrest Gold Legacy. Lovely bitch who takes your attention on entering the ring. She has an excellent front. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders. Good topline and hind angulation. Moves true. 2. Hoimes’, Tammera Touch of Elegance. Good type of bitch who has a good top underline. Well angulated quarters and moves well. 3. Brooks’, Lyndarlea Shutt That Door.

LB. (10). 1. Edwards’, Varok Bonnechere. This lady pleased me immensly. She has a lovely head, good reach of forechest. Excellent topline with rair underline. Well angulated. Moved well. 2. Bantings’, Indicott Moonglow. Nice type of bitch. Neat front and feet. Good topline. Slightly short in inderline. Nice quarters. Moved well. 3. Braces’, Xemixia Chantilly.

OB. (10). 1. Goddards’, Ch. Minard Krystal Darque. Have read a lot about this lady, but those who know me will know that my judgement is not affected by this. She just oozes quality from her head which is lovely to her correct front assembly, her feet were the best of the day. Her top and underline are to be admired her movement is a joy to watch, along with this you have prefect presentation which completes the whole picture. I thank her owner for allowing me the chance to judge her. I was delighted to award her CC and BOB. 2. Turners’, Rafthouse Tallulah. I loved this bitch too. She was so unlucky to come up against Krystal. She has the most gorgeous outline when entering the ring it sayd ‘look at me’. Her head is typical from this kennel. She has a lovely forechest with good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Correct top and underline and well rounded quarters. Her movement is very true. RCC. I would hope that she will make up. 3. McLeans’, Maxwin Lady Madonna.
