Grateful thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at their show. A fantastic entry of Mini smooths awaited me for which I thank the exhibitors. Sportsmanship was excellent and some tough decisions had to be made. One thing I did notice since last judging this variety there is a noticeable increase of wider skulls and short forefaces which is untypical for the breed. Apart from that thought they were in pretty good shape.
VD 2 (1)
1st Beach Riowood Arizona JW masculine brindle boy, up to size but very well made throughout. Good head reachy neck, excellent keel and ribbing balanced hindquarters. Moved well and very soundly.
MPD 3 (1)
1st Bullis Bronia Ricard into Amaffrey Shaded red lovely head lengthy neck good ribbing moved out well in a steady manner, very much a baby but very promising.
2nd Tite Rayol Gingerfella By Rijobeau Red dog of lovely proportions. Excellent dark eye, beautiful head good reach of neck. A little proud of his tail at this stage which tends to affect his topline moving nevertheless another promising puppy.

1st Hanney-Mitchell Bronia Despacito Beautiful red boy of excellent size and overall proportions. Lovely head and expression, super neck, level topline, good ribbing, balanced quarters. Excellent mover covering the ground easily with confidence and precision. Super puppy BP & Res.CC.
2nd Jennings Jenivon’s The Story Lives On Another red of quality and not dissimilar to winner. Well made throughout kept a good outline standing and moving just preferred ribbing of 1st.
3rd Jones Jenivon’s The Last Waltz.

1st Kirkwood Emery Marvale Royal Sallute At Helydon B/Tan good for size and balance, lovely head, super neck, enough front, good ribbing, well developed hind quarters. Sound, precise mover keeping a super outline.
2nd. Blackburn-Bennet Stargang Alchemy Red of a rangier type masculine super front and keel longer cast than winner but shows much promise. Just not as forward as 1st.
PGD 7. (1)
1st Parr Stargang Rusty Nail Red male of lovely type. Reachy neck, super front keel and topline very well balanced overall. Was a little reluctant on the move to start with but eventually got it together to demonstrate a lovely balanced gait.
2nd Cato Jenivon’s Aloexandra Of Earldax B/T in a slightly smaller mould than winner. He is less angulated both front and rear, however he is balanced and moved out with purpose in a sound manner.
3rd Graham Portmoll Peanut.

1st Bullis Amaffrey Sirius Black Sound honest B/tan of super overall balance and proportions. Correct strength of balance and proportions. Correct strength of bone for size, lovely head, topline and ribbing balanced fore and aft. He comes into his own on the move covering the ground easily with precision. Will make a worthy Champion in my opinion.
2nd Gittins Boomerloo’s Robin Another quality dog matched the winner in all respects. Again sound easy mover, just preferred head of winner.
3rd Russell & Price Teckletown The Showman.

1st O’Connell. Ch. Rijobeau Rumours With Llennocor JW B/tan of excellent quality, lovely head reachy neck, super front keel and underline, level topline, super ribbing well developed hindquarters. He is a sound easy mover, shown and presented in excellent condition. Easy to see how he has won so well. My CC & BOB winner , thrilled to see him go on to Res. BIS.
2nd Jennings Jenivon’s Starfinch Another B/tan very well made throughout, masculine head, reachy neck, super front and rear, excellent ribbing. Lovely moving keeping his shape at all times.
3rd. Corominas Ch. Scenterbay Rafael For Ruichango JW completed a trio of super males.

1st. Lunt Marvale Silver Sorceress At Louarne Pretty Dapple girl of lovely size. Feminine head reachy neck, good keel, super ribbing balanced rear quarters, sympathetically handled to bring the best out of her, happy sound mover BVIB.
2nd. Thomas Black Angellina B/tan of slightly heavier build, nicely made throughout. Moved out well keeping her outline on the move.
3rd Herald Montone Our Lady Faith At Winterfield Three lovely older ladies enjoying their day out.

1st Blackburn-Bennett Stargang Bootylicious Beautifully headed puppy so typical of this kennel was a little hesitant at first but soon came round, lovely front excellent ribbing, balanced rear quarters and moved out steadily keeping her outline at all times.
2nd Parr Stargang Rumba Same lovely type and litter sister to one. Again feminine head, lovely expression correct front with defined keel. Balanced rear quarters and moved out well.

1st Bullis Amaffrey Rita Skeeta. Pretty and delightful Red of lovely type and quality. Feminine head, super neck, excellent front, good ribbing topline and underline, lovely sound steady mover.
2nd. Cato Lokmadi Lindy Hop Of Earldax Pretty feminine red lighter framed than first lovely front with defined keel tad shorter in ribbing than first but moved and showed very well.

1st Beach Beachdax California Gurls Instantly attracted to this deep red girl for her sheer quality and type. Beautiful head super length of neck. Excellent front level topline, correct ribbing. Well developed hindquarters which she used to great advantage on the move. Very sound and was again drawn to her in the challenge and happy to award her 1st CC. Congratulations and good luck for the future.
2nd Mason Teckletown Power Of Love Quality B/tan who scores heavily with her super proportions and body lovely easy mover and sound both ways little heavier in head than first but nevertheless, sound honest bitch.
3rd Bullis Minnewood Walzing Matilda By Amaffrey.

1st Hutchings Teckletown Kelby Springs Into Collidach Very feminine red of quality. Lovely head and expression. Reachy neck super front level topline. Excellent ribbing well developed and angulated hindquarters she moved with reach and precision keeping a lovely outline.
2nd Barr Bronia Annetta At Lowoods Shaded red not unlike the winner. Pretty feminine head, balanced front and rear super body and topline, moved out soundly keeping lovely outline.
3rd Butterstone Joshotto Martha Gunn.

Real tough class with close decisions.
1st Dalton LLansansior Empress Beautiful Red of lovely type and quality, lovely head, reachy neck super firm level topline, excellent ribbing, balanced fore and aft and a super mover close up in the challenge.
2nd Graham Portmoll Primadonna. Another super quality red little lighter framed than first but very well put together, super head eye and expression good ribbing, topline and quarters moved and showed well.
3rd Wilkinson & Wakeham Wakywilks Vitoria.

1st Blackburn-Bennett Ch. Stargang Scandalous Beautiful red of super type and quality lovely head so typical of this kennel, reachy neck, super front, keel, ribbing and topline. Strong well made hindquarters moved and showed with confidence and precision. Very close up to the CC winner but had to settle for the Res CC today.
2nd Mason Ch Marvale Crimson Sunbird At Teckletown Another super bitch of real quality feminine outlook, lovely front, excellent ribbing balanced hindquarters, moved and showed so well. Quality bitch.
3rd Hanny-Mitchell Bronia Clarisse.
