Good Citizen Bitch (1)
1st: ROSE Pennydach Mystique at Rosencrantz

Thank you all for an enjoyable morning. Apologies for the late start. I was surprised to see more than a few exhibits over 11lbs – I have no problem with a few ounces over – better that than under bodied dogs which were within the weight – and I had 2 of those. Many thanks to my super stewards, Lesley Elliott and Judith Haynes, they are a good team.
SBD (6, 3) 1: Strange Bronia’s Armand at Cazdachs 9-month-old red, pleased me most for balance although he needs to fill out in front. Good ribbing, head and eye and quarters. Tail can be better but he was full of confidence. 2: Talbot & Horridge Winlaton Valentino promising black and tan of 6-month-old – needs more upper arm and shoulder angulation. Good rear. A raw baby not as forward in body or as finished in head as the winner. 3: Wilkinson & Wakeham Bronia Gabriel for Wakywilks
VD (1, 0) 1: Baker & Clements Duke Midnight William 8-year-old chocolate and tan who is full measure for size and is obviously enjoying his retirement. Well ribbed and carries himself well. Good chest. Needs more upper arm. BVIB
PD (9, 2) 1: Bullis Amaffrey Henry 11-month-old black and tan who could have a little more ground clearance but scored here in shoulder and forechest and front action. Beautiful head and very good carriage. Best Puppy Dog. He and his litter sister have beautiful forehand construction. 2: Melbourne & Carroll & Paget Melriding Black Tom 10-month-old black and tan. Looked my winner at first sight as he has good ground clearance and good carriage. I preferred front angulation and forechest of the winner and this showed in his front action. Good bone. 3: Strange & Bronia’s Armand at Cazdachs
JD (7, 1) 1: Coxon D’arisca Dinner at Eight 16-month-old excellent outline, bone and ribbing. Good head shape. Dark eyes which are a bit large. Has good width in front and carries himself well. Top size but full of type and quality. 2: Magri Rozamie Red Corvette 16-month-old red. I liked his outline and balance but not as finished in rib and chest as the winner. Good neck and topline. 3: Herald Sonorra Dark Treacle at Winterfield
PGD (3, 0) 1: Magri Lokmadi Call Me Louis Rozamie 20-month-old brindle of good proportions and ground clearance. Well ribbed back. Good forechest but needs more upper arm which shows in his front action. Excellent carriage and very good head. A lot to like. 2: Woods Mylforbe the Bishop 18-month-old top size but has good bone and substance. I’d prefer a little more length to ribcage. Not very happy in the hall today.
LD (6, 1) 1: Hanney-Mitchell Bronia Chayce 19-month-old red, with good forechest and excellent neck. Maximum length for my taste but he is ribbed well back. Scored in front action to win this and later the RDCC 2: Band & Mccarthy Carpaccio Red Alert for Essandsee 3-year-old I liked his size and proportions and he carried himself well. Good rear. The winner scored in his length of stride which was the deciding factor in this close decision. 3: Woods Bronia Gaspare
OD (4, 0) 1: Mason Ch Teckeltown Master Piece JW 2-year-old red with good outline and movement. I would prefer him a little cleaner in the skull. Ribbed well back. Super feet. A little too squared off at croup but his balance and proportions and carriage won him the DCC. 2: Black & Cross Ch Riowood Red Boots JW quality red of 22-month-old good proportions but a little cut up in underline. Good carriage. Could use his hocks more effectively. Good head and eye where he scored.. Still a young dog and when he matures in body will have better days. 3: Bullis Amaffrey Jessie James JW
GCD (2, 0) 1: Halsall Kiddles Kola 14-month-old red needing a little more confidence. Good proportions and sound movement at both ends. Needs time to finish in body.
2: Baker & Clements Duke Midnight William repeat
SBB (10, 2) 1: Coote Andeysson Cape Verde 30-month-old chocolate and tan easy winner of this class. Balance and well-constructed and uses herself well on the move. Eyes a little round. A good bitch. BSBIB 2: Baker & Clements Rayol Bohemian Rapsody 22-month-old black and tan good type and balance. Her feet could be stronger and this shows on the move. Not quite the carriage and elegance of the winner on the day. 3: Rose Rosencrantz Ophelia
PB (9, 0) 1: Melbourne & Carroll & Paget Melriding Sisi 10-month-old black and tan who is full of type, lovely proportions and moved well, with great confidence.. Won this place on movement and carriage. BPIB 2: Moes & Williams Cwmdarhian Cold as Ice 11-month-old red, beautiful type and outline on the stack, My recent Reserve Best Puppy at Hound Association where she went beautifully. So I obviously think very highly of her Today she was not happy in the hall and losing her topline and carriage – a great disappointment for me as well as her handler. Judging on the day. 3: Bullis Amaffrey Flo Rider
JB (8, 3) 1: Coxon D’arisca Little Black Dress 16-month-old lovely quality and proportions and carried her shape on the move which won her this class. Well ribbed, good head and eye. Feet could be stronger, but she went with confidence and made the last three in the challenge. 2: Hunt Mylforbe Red Velvet at Sunara 14-month-old beautiful to go over on the table everything to like and stronger feet than the winner but not carrying herself well. With schooling should have a very good future. 3: Magri Rozamie Abracadederah
PGB (13, 5) 1: Roberts & Smith Rayol Barcelona 21-month-old she has maximum length for me but she is well ribbed back, holds a strong topline and is a very good mover. Quality, feminine head. Excellent carriage. 2: Fairchild & Oakley Ardenrun Waltzing Matilda 2-year-old black and tan more compact than the winner but not quite the ground clearance or front assembly but she has lot of type. Not the carriage of the winner but appealed for her type. 3: Rudkin Crosscop If I Could Dream for Dynastydax
LB (15, 3) A good class but the noisy hall upset a couple of the main contenders and affected the placings. 1: O’Connell Hollybirch Glowing Gold for Llennocor 3-year-old red who has lovely proportions and movement and carried herself with confidence. Her topline and carriage won her this class. Tail is a little high set but she carried it well her. Unexaggerated quality bitch. 2: Callow Garthorne Glenda JW brindle bitch of almost 2-year-old maximum length but well ribbed. Beautiful neck with shoulder line. Accurate on the move but not carrying herself with confidence which applied also to the third bitch and this decided the placings here in a good class. 3: Wilkinson & Wakeham Bronia Valentina for Wakywilks also not happy in the hall.
OB (13, 6) 1: Paget & Carroll Marvale Sandpiper 20-month-old red full of quality and carried herself well on the move, well ribbed, good angulation. Full of type BCC & BOB. 2: Rudkin Ch Dynastydax Alfreda JW 2-year-old lovely carriage and excellent outline. Good head but I would prefer darker eye. Not quite as accurate in front as the winner but I liked her enormously and she won RBCC.
3: Hanney-Mitchell Bronia’s Abriana
GCB (1, 0) 1: Rose’s Pennydach Mystique at Rosencrantz 5-year-old compact bitch. Good proportions but carrying too much weight which showed on the move.
