As always, this variety was enjoyable to judge. We had some issued with the electronic scales as they came up with some odd readings. Some of the lower classes were a bit disappointing as far as quality was concerned. A few were too low to the ground for my liking, which is not a good sign. Front movement in many left a lot to be desired. VD (1) 1 & BV, Kent's Ch Barratini Jeeves At Lokmadi JW. 7 yrs b/t, good head, dark expressive eyes, happy chap who never stopped wagging his tail standing or moving, good outline, excellent coat and condition. MPD (2, 1) 1 Dunhill's Gellijams Aldanti. Just 6 mths, this b/t, well proportioned puppy with attractive head, dark eyes, well conditioned, excellent coat and body, not yet settled on the move and needs to improve in front action. PD (2) 1 Beach's Beachdax Black Magic. 9 mths b/t, quite a character who stopped to have a very long pee! Good coat and overall proportions, pleasing head, expressive eyes, conducted himself with style and confidence on the move, very well handled. 2 Dunhill's Gellijams Aldanti. JD (6) 1 Lewis' Trixhund Bring Me Sunshine JW. 16 mths red, lovely head and eyes, full of expression, good topline which he retained on the move, well muscled quarters, well handled and presented, moved well. 2 Phillips' Stargang Devil-May-Care Of Robinswood. 13 mths red, smart youngster in excellent form, glossy coat, attractive head, excellent feet, sturdy body, moved well behind, but not going as well in front as first. 3 Mitchell's Bronia Stefano. PGB (4, 1) Not a great class. 1 Phillips' Arbennik St Thomas Of Robinswood. 3 yrs b/t, pleasing head and expression, well balanced, good body and coat, went well. 2 Smith's Wolferlow Admiral Nelson. Two and a half yrs b/t, slightly bold in eye, good outline, lovely coat and condition, moved ok. 3 Gittins' Bo Jangles At Boomerloo. LD (3, 1) 1, CC & BOB, Protheroe's Royalmaple Anky Panky. 2 yr old red of excellent type, most appealing head and expression, splendid topline, body and quarters, stylish mover who showed really well, nicely arched neck, good feet, super coat and condition, performed with animation and enthusiasm on a wet, miserable day, well handled. 2 Carey's Swingletrees Abracadabra. 4 yrs red, intelligent expression, good coat and body, moved quite well but feeling the cold and not showing as positively as first, sympathetically handled. OD (9, 1) 1 & RCC, Mitchell & Antonopoulos' Ygeia No One Like You (Imp). 2 yr old red, lovely silhouette, good length of head, excellent topline, coat and body, showy and focused, well conditioned and handled, looked very good going round. 2 Williams, Moes & Harp-Jones' Cwmdarhian Tropic Thunder At Carlita. 2 yrs, nice quality, very good head, dark eyes, firm body, good rump, positive mover, well presented, feet could be better. 3 Blackburn's Stargang Tiger Feet. MPB (4, 1) 1 Burton's Swingletrees Star Arni Dahl. 7 mths b/t, very together for her age, pretty face, good body and topline, excellent coat, serious showgirl, moved well behind, needs to tighten up in front. 2 Renton's Dukidachs Selene. Just 6 mths and very relaxed about it all. Good head and expression, excellent coat, firm body, moved ok, topline needs to improve. 3 Protheroe's Formula Uspeha Ginger At Royalmaple. PB (4) 1 & BP,  Ergis' Siouxline Esther Rose. 11 mths red, proper little star and a comfortable winner of this class and BP. Full of self esteem, most attractive head, bright expression, well proportioned, best of toplines, correct feet, very important attitude who moved and showed very well, won't be long before she adds Ch to her name. 2 Scott's Wolferlow Miami. 9 mths red, topline not quite there yet, but a nice quality puppy, very good head and expression, well muscled with good length of body, well muscled quarters, went well. 3 Burton's S Star Arni Dahl. JB (8, 1) 1 & RCC, Hunt's Carpaccio Blithe Spirit JW. 16 mths b/t, won this class with the greatest of ease, quality head, dark eyes, good body and topline, well muscled quarters which she used on the move, excellent coat, moved and showed well. 2 Protheroe's Royalmaple Beryl The Peril. 18 mths, had such a worried look standing but relaxed and got into a proper stride and moved with style, good length of body, well handled. 3 Jones' Stargang Lotus Flower. PGB (8, 2) 1 Burke & Manston's Radclyffe Zathera. 18 mths red, very smart young bitch, gorgeous head, expressive eyes, good neckline, sturdy body, good quarters, easy mover. 2 Burton's Swingletrees Xtravaganza. 3 yrs b/t of good type, correct overall proportions, good coat, pleasing head, steady showgirl. 3 Ellis' Davdax Red Velvet. LB (9, 2) Very good class. 1 Blackburn-Bennett's Stargang Star Anise. 18 mth b/t, classy bitch, with excellent coat and condition, best of feet, attractive head, dark eyes, held topline on the go round, firm body, moved and showed well, handled to advantage. 2 Kent's Lokmadi On Silent Wings JW. 2 yr old red, feminine head, excellent type and size, strong quarters, clean outline, moved and showed with confidence, pressed hard for first place. 3 Thomas' Royaldach Authorized Queen JW ShCM. OB (5, 1) 1 Ergis & Melbourne's Siouxline Rapunzel With Melriding. 2 yrs red, never put a foot wront and I believe this win made her up. Well balanced, like all the Siouxlines, well schooled and conditioned, happy showgirl who moved very well, held her topline perfectly on the move. Quality head, good front and feet. 2 Kent's Lokmadi Hidden Dragon. 3 yr old, delightful character, totally laid back temperament, good head and eyes, clean well presented coat, well muscled quarters, firm body, moved steadily, well handled. 3 Rollinson's Cwmdarhian Lady Marmalade By Diamonddax JW ShCM.
