MPD1 Salisburys Willowheath Just William, very handsome dark red, lovely start to the day, absolutely sound and with super bone and thick padded feet. Lovely head and neck, so good to go over. Kept his super outline at all times, good showman, one for the future I’m sure. Best Puppy in Breed. 2 Blackburns Tythe Gordon Brown at Stargang another quality exhibit this time a choc/tan (unfortunate name), liked him a lot too. Lovely size and good colour. Admired his head and eye very much, well constructed and a good mover, not quite the sparkle of winner. 3 Callow’s Garthorne Dyson.

PD1 Sheltons Barisse Makes It Magic, black/tan in beautiful condition, lovely head and eye, looked good on the stack, movement lets him down I am afraid.

JD1 Roberts Denver Darling Echo Falls, very sound dark shaded red, masculine and handsome, lovely head and neck, so pleasing to handle, so well made and a good mover. Very good in front construction. 2 Reeds Deercroft Double Dare JW,  black/tan with a good outline which he kept on the move, not quite the front of winner coming towards. 3 Bishtons Bronia Carolia of Jaydania.

PGD 1 Settle’s Siouxline Cristopher Robin, quality red of very pleasing type. Holds himself well, keeping a firm topline. Won on his movement. 2 Burtons Swingletrees Ready Teddy Go, this red has a little too much wrinkle on his legs. Not the front assembly of winner but good behind. 3 Smiths Caligari Storm Prince.

LD 1 Sheltons Barisse High Endeavour, high quality shaded red in superb condition, just the right amount of weight and shining, lovely head and eye, so well constructed throughout. Well fronted with gorgeous feet. Excellent balance and movement RCC. 2 Winchurhs Brianolf Malachite, very elegant and necky red, lovely head and eye, good to go over, sound, showy and well balanced, could not match the condition of winners. 3 Dorans Dorandaq Ikando Res Kents Barratini Jeeves at Lokmadi JW.

OD1 Roberts Ch Denver Midnight Sun, loved this shaded red, gorgeous outline, lovely head and neck and so well ribbed, keeps this outline at all times. Lovely mover, sound and effortless and in sparkling condition. Won the CC over some stiff competition. 2 Callows Ch Garthorne Top Gear JW, lovely quality black/tan, so masculine and with lovely bone and feet, so admired his head and expression, well constructed, very sound on the move and on the table, put up a good show. 3 Ergis’ Siouxline Maverick JWShCM.

MPB super class of quality babies, 1 Yeomans Tyth Brown Sugar, I thought this choc/tan was just outstanding even in this fabulous class. Lovely head and eye, excellently constructed, lovely bone and feet, elegant and arrogant, showed and moved well here, in the challenge she just dropped her topline a little at times which pegged her back. A little gem. 2 Callows Garthorne Amelia, this shaded red is not quite so feminine in head as winner but excels in construction and is so very sound, lovely to go over and excellent on the move, coat in lovely condition. 3 Winchurchs Brianolf Opalite.

PB Another lovely class. 1 Coxons D’Arisca Sybilla, this little red excels in construction and soundness and she has no wrinkle. So very typy with the best of ribbing and balance. Beautiful mover with a firm topline held at all times, this won her best puppy bitch although the chocolate had a better head, I felt the construction won the day. 2 Muggeltons Mosiarto Beautiful Belle, very elegant red, pretty head and eye on a good neck, held her good outline at all times and is sound on the move, just not quite the ribbing of winner, but close up. 3 Orton’s Scalamor Belle Heather. 

JB 1 Ergis Siouxline April Folly, very elegant clear red, lovely head and eye on the longest of necks, well balanced and sound enough. Found her just a touch narrow and would prefer less loose skin. 2 Williams Cwmdarhian Mizz Lucy Lou, very nice dark red, very pleasing on the table. Holds herself well on the move, sound going and coming and excels in pigment, would prefer less wrinkle on legs. 3 Hughes Batendach Coppa Rose for Juliedachs.

PGB 1 Twyman Stargang Porsche, lovely quality black/tan, lovely to go over, being so well ribbed and with a fabulous body on her, lovely head and the darkest of eyes, loved her thick padded feet and super hindquarters, very sound moving with super topline and in sparkling condition, nice one! 2 Shukers Yewlitt Amelia, this black/tan did not quite have the head and eye of winner, otherwise little to fault, so well constructed with excellent ribbing and bone, very sound on the move. 3 Patersons Shardagang Ebony Sea at Ambiesque.

LB a quality class. 1 Doran’s Dorandaq Java, lovely quality red, sound, elegant and so good to go over, shown in spanking condition too. Excelled in construction and movement, she is also a lovely type, her handler must learn to do more for this good bitch. 2 Punters Jentiki Kendle Welcumen, very nice red lovely outline with a long neck and lovely bone, feet and hind quarters. Very typical in head and eye, very sound. 3 Blackburn-Bennetts Stargang Lotus Elite.

OB1 Sheltons Ch Barisse High Frequency JW ShCM, my notes just say immaculate. Black/Tan, a true Dachshund in Miniature, loved everything about her, she has it all, head, construction, movement and she was shown in pristine condition, a joy to judge. CCBOB. 2 Hunt’s Ch Carpaccio Royal Parade JW, another quality black/tan totally different in type to the winner but still lovely. Has so many of the attributes of the winner and is also very sound and very showy. RCC. 3 Ergis Siouxline Evangelina JWShCM.
