MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED
My thanks to all exhibitors for waiting so
late in the day.
PD (2) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Calvino, shaded red, lovely compact
puppy. Soundly constructed, correct front, tight elbows, long ribbing & moved
out well; 2 Phillip’s Dactra Frank Furter, b&t, super head, larger than 1,
top-line dipped a little & feet could be tighter.
PGD (5,1) 1 Burton’s Swingletrees Ready-Teddy-Go, red, correct conical
head, well put together with long ribbing, good angulation & moved with drive
holding a lovely outline at all times; 2 Kent’s Barratini Jeeves at Lokmadi,
smart b&t, lovely shape but carried his tail high today & did not have the
forward reach of 1; 3 Settle’s Siouxline Cristopher Robin.
OD (3,1) 1 Robert’s Denver Midnight Sun, s/r, what a hound, conical
head, almond eye, lovely ears of correct length, missing in many. Long neck with
good oval front, correctly laid shoulders, tight elbows with long ribbing &
level top-line. Excellent quarters which he used so well on the move. BD & BOB;
2 Ergis’s CH Siouxline Indigo JW ShCM, b&t, another quality exhibit, everything
in the right place, shinning coat, showed very well, just preferred 1 on length
& head.RBD
PB (3) 1 Ergis’s Siouxline April Folly, outstanding red puppy, super
head, oval front, tight elbows, level top-line, so well angulated and when she
moved, just flowed around the ring. One to watch for the future. BB & BP; 2
Kerry’s Kireton Agnes, another lovely b&t puppy, compact, long neck into good
shoulders, tight elbows, level top-line, moved out confidently, unlucky to meet
1; 3 Scott’s Wolferlow Georgia Brown.
PGB (12,4) Excellent class, so many lovely exhibits, I was spoilt for
choice. 1 Ergis’s Siouxline Cinderella, red, very similar to her kennel mate,
soundly constructed, houndy head, tight elbows, long ribbing, good length with
level top-line, a quality bitch. RBB; 2 Dunn’s Bronia Golly Miss Molly at
Ashridge, a super b&t, so well balanced, correct conical head, oval front, tight
elbows, level top-line, good quarters which she used to advantage on the move. A
very hard decision; 3 Robert’s Denver Darling Blossom Hill.
OB (2) 1 Kent & Middleton’s Bensarka Too Darned Hot for Lokmadi, red
girl with a super outline. Neat front, good lay of shoulders with level
top-line, moved effortlessly around the ring; 2 Kerry’s Dolyharp P, a little
apprehensive on the table, but moved out well.
