MINATURE SMOOTH HAIRED
MPD (7, 1) 1 Shelton's’s Barisse Makes It Magic;- most impressed with
this baby; excellent balance, shoulder con struction and length of ribbing; true
and steady movement fore and aft - which gave him the edge in the challenge for
Best Puppy over a very eye-catching bitch. 2 Lombardelli's- Kelmbeck Lord of the
Isles;- another promising youngster wuth beautiful length of keel and ribbing;
everything to like about him, especially his outline on the move; less steady
when stacked at the moment than the 1st. 3 Williams' Cwmdarhian Some Like It
Hot.
PD (6) 1 Reed's Deercroft Double Dare; the best balanced boy in
the class; impressed with his shoulder angulation, length of neck and
ribbing;moved steadily throughout. 2 Morton's Cwmdarhian Little Monte, up from a
good reserve in the previous class, masculine and upstanding and moving smoothly
and with purpose, not as good in shoulder as the 1st. 3 Bishton's Bronia Carlino
of Jaydania JD (4) 1 Burton's Swingletrees Ready- teddy- go, very long red dog
with masculine head and the best of pro-sternums coupled with good length of
ribbing - giving him a super oval thorax outline, correct hind angulation and
movement. 2 Kent's Barratini Jeeves at Lokmadi, promising b/t with good head,
shoulders and rear angulation, not quite as steady mooving as the 1st and tended
to paddle rather in front. 3 Mitchell's Bronia Calvino
PGD (2,1) 1 Barratini Jeeves at Lokmadi
LD (7, 1) 1 Herringtons's Kathington Coeur de Lion; masculine and
up-standing b/t with truer fore and hind movement than many here, sound all
through with the best of heads, neck and shoulders, needs just to continue
maturing on; showing steadily to win the Reserve C.C. 2 Shelton's Barisse High
Endeavour, different type shaded red looking a picture when stacked and pressed
the winner hard; not as strong in hind quarters at the moment but keeping a
super outline on the move. 3 Mead's Minimead Minisota
OD (4, 1) 1 Callow's Garthorne Top Gear, new to me and heading 3 super
dogs - this masculine b/t is beautifully balanced and a pleasure to go over with
lovely proportions all through; movingtruer behind than the 2nd and showing his
socks off to win the Dog C.C. 2 Herrington's Ch.Kathington Chance N Counter, one
of my favourite red dogs with super front movement and the best drive behind,
looking rangier and not quite the proportions of the 1st; preferred his younger
kennel-mate today
MPB ( 9, 3) 1 Daykin's Barratini Scarlet Ribbon;- first of two
lovely red puppies, both different in type, 1st. longer through than the 2nd and
moving with drive, keeping a good outline at all times. 2 Williams' Cwmdarhian
Mizz Lucy Lou, lower to ground than 1st and shorter in length; looked a picture
stacked, just a bit stuffier in shoulder at the moment. 3 Muggleton's Mosiarto
Beautiful Belle
PB (6) 1 Jones' Batendach Red Light at Radclyffe; promising, quality
red baby, still rather loose in movement, excellent shoulder placement, ribbing
and profile, well-balanced throughout; will watch her future with interest. 2
Moulds' Cwmdarhian Kiss Me Quick, similar type to 1st though rather shorter in
length of keel and ribbing, very smart b/t who is so well angulated behind. 3
Kerry's Kireton Agnes.
JB (13, 4) An excellent class, full of quality headed by a real 'star'
1 Daykin's Barratini Jilly Cooper; b/t with lovely balance and a real standard
in miniature, feminine head on reachy neck with super shoulder angulation and
true movement both ends, never stopped showing and was a credit to her handler -
so could not be denied the Bitch C.C. and Best of Breed. 2) Williams'
Celtichills Hot Chocolate at Cwhdarhian; a glamorous choc/tan girl who I'm sure
will reach the top; superb bone, lovely head and front construction; kept her
outline at all times and with good hind angulation, unlucky to meet the 1st on
such good form. 3 Hughes' Minimead Maid to Love for Julidachs.
PGB (14, 3) 1 Dunn's Bronia Golly Miss Molly at Ashridge, 1st of two
promising b/t bitches, very feminine and keeping a lovely shape both stacked and
on the move, excelled in shoulder placement and hind angulation. 2 Kerry's
Sanmik One And Sixpence at Kireton. very similar in type to 1st, deeper in the
brisket and lighter over the loin;moved out well fore and aft, just preferred
head and overall balance of the winner. 3 Salisbury's Barratini Analisa at
Brocklewood
LB (14, 4) 1 Muggleton's Mosiarto Forget Me Not, very smart b/t
of lovely proportions, correct shoulder and hind angulation, kept a good outline
both moving and stacked. 2 Melbourne & Holdsworth's Barratini Hubble Buibble at
Melriding, feminine b/t with excellent shoulders and front construction, not
quite as confident or well-balanced as the 1st. 3 Salisbury's - Brocklewood
Babycham
OB (5) A class of lovely quality bitches headed by, 1 Lombardelli's
D'Arisca From Dawn Till Dusk at Kelmbeck; a very smart, unexaggerated b/t of
correct proportions; very good shoulder placement and hind angulation and
steady, true movement, a well-deserved Reserve Bitch C.C 2 Hunt's Ch.Carpaccio
Royal Parade, well-known b/t of character and handled 'par excellence', lovely
outline stacked and moving. super hind movement but just preferred the front
construction of the 1st. 3 Barber's Ch. Simply Red Ruby of Rivergate, a
favourite red of mine, sound and true in all aspects; just not looking quite at
her best today and showing a lot of daylight under her loins.
