This was a super entry and thanks go
to the exhibitors for their support and sporting attitude. There are a number of
beautiful Mini Smooth bitches on display and competition was red hot. Dogs still
need a little more work to catch up with the girls, but I thought the breed was
exceptionally good taken as a whole.
PD. (6). 1. Coxon's, D'arisca Speed Dating. BPD. Just 6 months old.
Neat and balanced. Excellent forechest. Will tighten in elbow, a good prospect.
2. Gunning's, Jenkerbell Merlot. Larger mould. Level topline. Good forechest.
Good bone. 3. Shuker's, Yewlitt Zavier.
JD. (2). 1. Ergis's, Siouxline Maverick. Profile movement ok. Good
head, neck and shoulder. Confident. 2. Yoemans', Klynernyner Vim and Vigour.
Pleasing exhibit. Good type.
PGD. (7). 1. Pritchard's, Hannamouse Dande-Lion. Good size. Well
controlled movement. Liked his head, neck and shoulders. 2. Macdonald's,
Bensarka the Midas Touch. Longer than winner, but not quite as confident or
collected on the move. 3. Hartley's, Minimead Malachi at Lyrosh.
LD. (8). 1. Mitchell's, Bronia Lanfranco. Good type. Confident.
Typical head. Level topline. Shoulders and ribbing were good. In contention for
the RCC. 2. Melbourne's, Melriding De Lafayetta JW. Just lost to winner on neck,
but another pleasing exhibit. 3. Orton's, Scalamor Solomons Seal.
OD. (5). 1. Ergis's, Siouxline Indigo JW Sh CM. Gleaming condition.
Good bone and feet. Pleasing head. Well placed shoulders. Level topline. Moved
ok. 2. Palin's, Merehill Double Topping over Sanmik. Good size and type but a
little subdued. Moved well and kept outline. More rear drive than Limit winner.
3. Melbourne's, Melriding Post Hac Meliora.
PB. (12). 1. Hunt's, Carpaccio Royal Parade. BP and RCC. So lovely!
Front, head, feet, neck, topline, ribbing, angulation all superb. Topped by a
wonderful attitude. 2. Kerry's, Sanmik One and Sixpence at Kireton. Similar to
type of winner, but unlucky to be against such an outstanding exhibit. 3.
Melbourne's, Barratini Hubble Bubble at Melriding.
JB. (10). 1. Ergis's, Siouxline Evangelina. Scored in overall length to
second. Also slightly lower to ground. Very good exhibit all through. 2.
Lewis's, Shardagang San Tula at Bardachs. Another very good bitch. This was a
tough class. Nit picking to separate first three. 3. Punter's, Jentiki Kendle
for Welcumen.
PGB. (12). 1. Kerry's, Dolyharp Pizzicato at Kireton. Lots of character
(which I like) and movement was very positive. All the essentials. Excellent
ribbing. Strong rear. 2. Melbourne's, Melriding Hortense Louise. Lower to ground
than winner, but not quite the head. Excellent forechest. 3. Rouse's, Dvordac
Kiss the Future.
LB. (16). 1. Shelton's, Barisse High Frequency JW Sh CM. Won a very
strong class which had little between the first three. Just a tad more length
than second. 2. Lewis's, Merehill Kinky Boots at Bardac. Another quality bitch
in gleaming condition. Again, lovely head, neck, shoulders and positive
movement. 3. Blackburn-Bennett's, Shardagang Illusion.
OB. (6). 1. Coxon's, Ch. D'arisca Golden Delicious CC and BOB.
Wonderful exhibit who was so well balanced and of great type and construction.
Fabulous temperament completed an excellent package. 2. Hunt's, Ch/Ir Ch.
Carpaccio Shopaholic. Lovely bitch who has all the essentials. Just a tad more
compact than winner, but very little in it. 3. Butler's, Penrhiwgoch Ebony Lass.
