 I would like to thank all the exhibitors that made it to the ring and to congratulate you all for braving the ghastly weather, the mud and the long grass. To see your little dogs breasting their way through the longer patches says much for their movement and drive.

V (1) 1 Watkinson’s Manacoora Koh-O-Nor (B). A very pretty shaded red bitch, well constructed, good rounded shoulders and hindquarters, well muscled, drove well off all four feet, a small bitch but beautifully proportioned.

PD(3, 2) 1 Reeves’ Zarosa Red Rum. A lovely dark red with a nice head, good reach of neck and well shaped keel, well ribbed, not too long in the loin, moved nicely keeping a good topline. 2 Holland’s Zarosa In Style. Nice head and eye, good shoulders, very similar to one, a very close decision but Red Rum won on movement.

OD(2, 1) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Indigo JW ShCM. What a joy, a long, low but compact dog with a lovely head, good teeth, an elegant neck moulding into a good chest and keel, well rounded ribs, not too long in the loin, hindquarters well muscled enabling great drive off the back feet. BOB. 2 Ashwell-Carter’s Siouxline Issac JW ShCM. Everything I have said about Indigo, his litter brother, applies. Indigo won on movement. Res BD.

PB(8, 2) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccia Valentina. A very lovely b/t with a good head, keel, shoulders and ribbing, would have liked a little more reach of neck for true elegance, moving very well. BP. 2 Coxon &Henningsen’s D’Arisca Barratini Bouquet. Another lovely little bitch, beautiful keel and ribbing but again lacking in that reach of neck to give the elegance I like to see in bitches. 3 Reeds’ Deercroft Royal Romance.

JB(9, 3) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Royal Parade JW. Lovely head, good dentition, good reach of neck, shoulders and ribbing, good quarters, well muscled, moved well keeping an excellent topline. 2 Le Roy’s Dovestream Gloriana Angel. A very twitchy youngster but under all the wiggling about there was a very nice dog. She had a very neat head, good reach of neck and she kept a lovely topline on the move. 3 Burton’s Swingle Trees Heaven Leigh.

PGB(4, 1) 1 Kerry’s Dolyharp Pizzicato At Kireton, a lovely head and reach of neck, good shoulders and well ribbed, lovely firm, well rounded hindquarters, really good movement keeping an excellent topline, BOS. 2 Reeves’ Zarosa Red Velvet. A very neat shaded red with a nice head and eye, good reach of neck, nice clean keel and undercarriage, moved very smartly. 3 Le Roy’s Dovestream Gloriana Angel.

OB(7, 1) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Evangelina. Lovely head, neck and shoulders, good ribs, loin and quarters, moved with drive, keeping an excellent topline, a little narrow in the chest but won the class on her movement. Res BB. 2 Coxon &Henningsen’s Ch D’Arisca Golden Delicious. Another lovely bitch with a good head, reach of neck and keel, not quite so well ribbed as one, drove well off all four feet and kept an excellent topline on the move. 3 Salisbury’s Brocklewood Babycham JW.
