MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED

PD. (1). 1. Ergis’s, Siouxline Tennyson. B/t and looking good at this age, 10 months old. A good picture in profile. Correct head and eye. Long neck. Moved well and was expertly handled. Best mover in class. BP. 2. Herrington’s, Kathington Chance ‘n’ Counter. Red of similar age as winner. Different type and more covered than winner. When moving paddles a little in front. This will improve with age. 3. Orton’s, Scalamor Solomons Seal.

JD. (3). 1. Punter’s, Welcumen Cool Dude. Red. I liked this young dog a lot. Well constructed and in good condition. Moved well keeping balance at all times. Considerately handled. RCC. 2. Ergis’s, Siouxline Thomas. B/t. Seemed to be out of the same mould as puppy class winner. Same remarks apply. 3. Widoop’s, Jondac Justin.

PGD. (4). 1. Melbourne’s, Melriding Post Mac Meliora. B/t. Full of quality. Correctly constructed giving a good picture in profile. Did not fully co-operate with his handler, but got better as proceedings went on. Moved well keeping balance. 2. Ergis’s, Siouxline Russell. Red. Larger and not the front or topline of winner. In good condition. Moved well. 3. Jones’s, Radclyffe Milvus.

LD. (4). 1. Luke’s, Corrieknowe Circassian. B/t. Good sized dog. Correctly constructed. Lost topline on the move but got better as proceedings went on. Worthy class winner. 2. Melbourne’s, Inkel I’m Rupert of Melriding. Red dog of quality. Well constructed. Just preferred the overall appearance of the winner. Moved well. 3. Baldwin’s, Lauralee One for the Road to Beckel.

OD. (7). 1. Barber’s, Melriding Meruisti. B/t. Full of quality. Litter brother to PG class winner. Masculine head without coarseness, correct head, eye and construction. Movement confirmed his construction. Moved well keeping balance. Overcame his competitors to win the CC. 2. Callow’s, Garthorne Man in Black. B/t. Slight smaller than winner. Correct head, eye and adequate neck giving a good picture in profile. Moved well. 3. Doran’s, Switherland Altarico.

PB. (16). 1. Mead’s, Minimead Miss Peggy Sue. A large class which took some sorting out. Some quality exhibits present. B/t 9 months old and was a worthy class winner. Correct head and eye. Adequate neck. Still a lot to do before the final picture is known. Moved well. 2. Paterson’s, Yasnin Fire Blade. Red of similar age to class winner. Stood in good company on the day. I liked a lot about her. Moved well. A little larger than class winner. 3. Orton’s, Scalamor Whoops a Daisy.

JB. (9). 1. Orton’s, Scalamor Pussy Willow. B/t winner of a large class. Good throughout. Stood four square. Moved well keeping balance at all times. 2. Mead’s, Minimead Mystic Charm. Red. Similar size to winner, but narrower in front. A little more neck would improve the picture in profile. Moved well. 3. Williams’, Shardagang Mead at Tythe.

PGB. (14). 1. Callow’s, Garthorne Leonie. A large class with some good exhibits present. Red. Good head and outline. Did not fully co-operate with handler. Her type won her placing. Moved well. 2. Mayger’s, Woolsocks Black Satin. B/t at first look thought to be my class winner. Smaller than winner but good throughout. Well handled. If campaigned seriously could have a bright future. Moved well. 3. Humes’s, Mowbray Music Maker to Zoflora.

LB. (6). 1. Ergis’s, Stunning Sophia for Siouxline HW. Sh CM. Red of good length. Generally good throughout. Low to ground and at her best on the move. RCC. 2. Callow’s, Garthorne Lady in Black. B/t. Smaller than class winner. Well proportioned. Well handled. Just preferred type of class winner. Moved well. 3. Herrington’s, Kathington Chantelle JW.

OB. (4). 1. Hunt’s, Ch. Carpaccio Shopaholic. B/t bitch of correct size. Good construction throughout. Stood four square. Moved with drive keeping balance at all times. Best mover on parade on the day. CC and BOB. 2. Callow’s, Ch. Garthorne Highlight. Red. A worthy Champion. Good construction throughout. Could lose weight to advantage. Moved well.3.
