Miniature Smooth Haired

V. (5). 1. Watkinson’s, Ch. Manakooa Mai-Mai. Lovely 10 years old red bitch of much quality. Pleasing outline both stacked and moving. She was enjoying her day out and I was pleased to see her go BVIS. 2. Mendes’s, Hobbithill Widgeon at Scharmein. Quality b/t dog. Very nice head and expression. Level topline with nice quarters. 11 and a half years young and in gleaming condition. 3. Irish Twirl of Klnerbyner. SpO UNDER 10lbs (6). 1. Forster’s, Maximites Lovely Lisa at Geffle. Lovely little b/t bitch of quality. Very pleasing head and eye. Long neck into good shoulder, front and feet. Well made quarters. Kept a level topline both standing and moving. Very sound. 2. Yeomans’, Yewlitt Trudi at Webbers. Similar b/t on the same lines as winner. Good head, very rich tan. Long neck. Good topline and quarters. Well presented. 3. Donnadoon Prince Passion. MPD. (10). Headache class this. Except for the first two all were different so very difficult to judge to type. 1. Punter’s, Welcumen Cool Dude. Really fell for this rich red boy at 8 months, he is very mature and so sound. I loved his head and expression. Lovely to go over on the table and a very sound temperament. Lacking in quite a few on the day. Should have a rosy future and a well deserved RCC on the day. 2. Ergis’s, Siouxline Russell. Another very glamorous rich red boy. A baby at 6 months, so had quite a bit to give away to the winner but was very close up. Stunning when stacked and moved with attitude. Another with a good future. 3. Dorandaq Basil. PD. (3). 1. Widdop’s, Jonac Justin. This b/t deserved his first place even with no competition. Very nice head with good expression. NIcely made and good to go over. Kept a good topline moving but needs to strengthen behind. In lovely condition and well handled. JD. (6). Nice class of promising youngsters. 1. Coxn’s, D’Arisca Inkel Imressario. 14 months old b/t of excellent type. Excels in head and front assembly. Very good neck, well ribbed with good topline. Moving sound but just needs to strength behind. Beautifully presented and handled as usual from this kennel. 2. Jones’s, Radcliffe Numenius. Another nice b/t in similar mould to winner. Pleasing head, lovely neck with good topline. Better quarters than winner but could not match the front assembly. Well presented and he moved very sound keeping a nice outline. 3. Truthful Titanat Lyrosh. PGD. (7). Very disappointing class. 1. Mendes’s, Scharmein Khan. Won this class easily. B/t with nice head and eye. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Good front and feet. Topline correct. Well angulated quarters. 2. Shutt’s, Donnadoon Duke of Darkness. Similar in type to winner but shorter in muzzle. LIked his shoulder and has a good forehand. Topline kept well at all times. 3. Truthful Titan at Lyrosh. LD. (7). Good class with good dogs. 1. Punter’s, Welcumen Mr Cool. Striking deep red dog. Good head, excellent forehand. Topline and quarters are good. He is very sound on the move and is very alert and attentive. This kennel is certainly producing some nice dogs. 2. Balwin’s, Lauralee One for the Road to Beckel. This young red boy took my eye straight away and thought this was my winner. Has all the qualities of winner together with a stunning red jacket. Lovely to go over on the table but just let his handler down on the move. Should collect himself as he is still only young. 3. Jones’s, Radclyffe Milvus. OD. (7). Lovely class of quality dogs. 1. Blackburn’s, Bardachs Santa Crux to Stargang. B.t not a flashy boy but he was so lovely to handle on the table. Pleasing head and expression. Very good shoulders with correct topline and well angulated quarters. LOvely temperament. His true forte is on the move so very sound fore and aft with plenty of drive. I was pleased to award him the CC which gave him his crown. Congratulations. 2. Coxon’s, Ch. D’Arisca Supernatural. Well deserved Champion of much quality. Has that arrogance when posed with lovely head, elegant neck into good shoulders. Looked a picture on the table. Just preferred the movement of winner on the day. 3. Ch. Welcumen Whiskey. MPB. (8). 1. Punter’s, Clipperdown Oopsa Daisy Welcumen. 7 months old red baby a bit all over the place at the moment. Handler fusses too much with her and when left to her own devices she looked lovely and well deserved to take this class. Sweet head and expression but would prefer more neck. Topline kept well but quarters need to muscle up. 2. Bensarka After Midnight. Sweet b/t with lovely head and expression. More neck than winner. Nice front assembly. Looked a picture standing but lost out on the move. 3. Mowbray Summer Breeze. PB. (3). 1. Orton’s, Scalamor Pussy Willow. 9 months old b/t with good head and front legs and feet. Nice body, well ribbed but would like more bone. Nicely presented and handled. JB. (1). 1. Callow’s, Garthorne Leonie. 2. Blackburn-Bennett’s, Shardagang Illustrious. These two red girls stood away in this class for quality and type. Illustrious is sired by an import and I must say I did prefer the head on Leonie. Both are very elegant with long crested neck. Excellent forehands, good topline and quarters. Temperaments are excellent. Must change places many time. 3. Maximites Lovely Lisa at Geffle. PGB. (16). A lovely class with quality right down the line and some nice bitches having to go cardless. 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Divine Design. Quality red with that lovely head that you expect from this kennel. KInd expression and she looks at you when on the table. I liked her front assembly. Nice neck and clean shoulders. Ribbing goes right back and quarters are well turned. Liked her a lot. 2. Newbury and Morris’s, Destiny of Dalgarth. Quality b.t. Again with a very nice head and dark expressive eyes. Good front and feet. Good topline and quarters. Nice to handle on the table. Handled without any fuss and moved soundly. 3. Zarcrest Smooth Obsession. LB. (12). Another very good class. Ergis’s, Bronia Stunning Sophia for Siouxline. Well named beautiful clear red with good head and expression. Looked lovely posed and was lovely to handle on the table. Pulled out all the stops to win this good class. 2. Plant’s, Merehill Whirlybird. Lovely b/t girl different type to winner but has all the qualities to go to the top. Hard secision this was and I had them both back on the table. Sophis just had the edge on the move. 3. Garthorne Lady in Black. OB. (9). 1. Munt’s, Pipersvale Stella Artois. Stunning red bitch. The last time I judged her I gave her BIS. Loved her then and had no reason to change my mind on the day. Immaculate presentation of coat, just shone. She looks a picture stacked and I was pleased to award her CC and BOB and later to see her go RBIS. 2. Hunt’s, Ch. Carpaccio Shopaholic. Lovely b/t bitch so very elegant. Loved her as a puppy when I first saw her. Very worthy Champion but on the day had to be satisfied with the RCC. 3. Shardagang Pavlova.
