	Best in Show.
	Firstly, thank you for the
invitation to judge Best in Show. It is a great honour to be invited.
I enjoyed my day, and was
delighted to have the chance to handle some beautiful dogs.
My choice for Best in Show was
Andrew Whitfield-Roberts’ M/L Ch. Dandydayo Kiss The Girl, 3yr old red
bitch. Lovely feminine head, kind expression, good length of neck, well
ribbed. Lovely shoulder placement and hind angulation. Sound on the move,
fore and aft, covering the ground with ease. Back in coat after a break to
raise a litter, really on her toes and commanding attention.
My second choice was the Mini
Smooth, Miss l James’ Lois Lane Cheky’s Hojanmit at Daximoors 2yr old red,
lovely body shape, compact, good length of rib, faultless movement. I’m sure
her owner will have lots of fun with her.
	Third was Jones’ Ch. Bimini
Chasing Moonbeams, M/W, almost 5yrs old bitch. In great coat and condition,
lovely to handle on the table, I liked her very much, but in the Best in
Show ring she was not moving at her best.
	Best Puppy in Show
I awarded Best Puppy in Show
to Miss Corominas’ Almarxils Diego for Ruichango, 8 month old red Mini Wire.
What a little cracker, lovely chunky puppy, loved his head and eye, well
ribbed, correctly angulated, moved out so well, sound positive parallel
movement. Getting restless on the table, after a long day. This is the one I
would want to take home. I hear he won the Dog CC too. One to watch!!
	Second was Miss James’
Daxiemoors Wrapped in Red, M/S, 9 month old, daughter of the 2nd in Best in
Show, another promising puppy, very precise on the move. Constructed well.
Third was the Mini long, Dave
Norris’ Criscan Que Paso, only 6 months old cream. I liked this one very
much, but sadly her owner needs more confidence and training. She is
beautifully constructed, and needs time. The future should shine brightly Mr
	Norris!!
	Best Veteran in Show
	First was Sue Ergis’ Ch
Siouxline Rapunzel with Melriding, red Mini Smooth, now 10yrs old. She
really shows her socks off! Pretty head, correct eye, good tight shoulders,
good length of ribbing, so sound on the move. I’ve awarded her Best Veteran
on 2 previous occasions, she’s evergreen.
	Second Jan Pain’s, Miniature
long, silver dapple Galria Full of Beans at Ravenbeech, now 9yrs. Smart
girl, sweet head good ribbing, moved soundly.
	Third was Jones’ Ch. Bimini
Starstruck, 9yrs old m/w dog, one I have admired from ringside, so well
constructed , just not enjoying himself at the end of the day.
