I was delighted and honoured to be asked to judge Best in Show at this well run and friendly event. I thank the committee for their invitation and hospitality. BIS: Wood’s Ch Wildstar Wrobinson. Miniature Long dog. I was told today that I had awarded this lovely specimen one of his 40 CC’s! This dog has a super front and true movement. He holds his head with pride as he powers around the ring maintaining his level topline. Beautifully put together with plenty of body and muscletone. Just a gorgeous specimen of the breed. Res BIS: Armstrong’s Ch Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby. Standard Smooth. I was quite amazed to learn that this seven year old won his 40th CC today too! What are the chances?! He also took the award for Best Veteran. Close up to the BIS and little to split these two exceptional animals. Another dog who powers around maintaining his super outline. Well off for bone and well muscled. A credit to his owner to be in such superb condition at this age. BPIS: Roberts’ Swansford Gregorydor. Standard Long. A ten month old put down to perfection. I particularly liked his fluid movement and verve. Super type as always from this kennel and one I shall watch with interest. Res BPIS: Melbourne’s Marvale Double Dealing. Standard Smooth. Super type and size. Especially liked his confidence on the move. Only nine months old and yet well bodied. Two really good puppies who I’m sure will both make the grade.
