I was delighted to be asked to judge BIS at this prestigious show, and had looked forward to being able to select from the crème of British Dachshunds. Congratulations to all involved I such a well run and friendly show.

BIS went to the young Long, Swansford Lionellador Darsoms. I particularly liked his size and proportions. He was very satisfying to go over, and moved with arrogant style. Presented, of course, in perfect order he is all quality and Im sure will give his owner many successful days.

RBIS was the Wire, Ch Derochaise Black Tarquin. He impressed with his easy movement, and holds a super topline. In better coat than when I judged his earlier this year, he put on a great show and full of Wire character.

Puppies were headed by the Min Long, Abydachs Avada Kevadra. I really liked her outline on the move, she holds a lovely shape, is well proportioned and has a v feminine head. Topline never faltered and quite a lengthy neck.

RBPIS went to the Smooth, Lauralee Huckleberry Finn at Carpaccio. I liked his Dachshund type and he moved out well, with good carriage.

The veteran provided really high quality competition and I thought a strong line up. I must mention the Smooth, who was in the most fabulous hard condition. My winner was the Wire, Ch Silvae Mystic. I just love her Dachshund outline, so well angulated front and rear, and just oozing quality. She is something special, and had to be to win in this company.
