Wow, I made it & what a welcome. For three years I have been looking forward to this day. A big thank you to the officers & committee of the W/h Club. A great honour to be invited to judge BIS at your ch show. A very well run, happy show with friendly hounds & exhibitors, you all looked after me so well. I was thoroughly spoilt. To my stewards Elizabeth & Fiona sincere thanks.

Now to my main task, BIS. My Miniature & Standard were really of the highest quality.

BIS was Thorn Andrews’ Ch Drakesleat Scent Sybil, brindle bitch, nearly 3 & RBIS, Patton’s Ch/Ir Ch Lesandnic Sea The Stars, brindle dog, nearly 5. Both showing a lovely silhouette, perfectly balanced, beautiful head with well shaped dark almond eye. Both looked good on the move, super wire jackets. For me today BIS had to be the Min Sybil, of correct size, nothing exaggerated, sound & in tip top condition, handled to perfection; BP, Clayton-Smith’s Boloria’s April Fool, very dark brindle bitch, 11 months of quality, showing lovely outline, good head & eye of excellent conformation, well presented & handled; RBP, Jones’ Bimini Starstruck, 7 months brindle dog, so much to like in one so young. When he bodies up certainly one for the future; BV, Patton’s Int/Ir Ch Lesandnic Liberthine, 7 years bitch of great quality with wild boar jacket, well boned & muscled, of excellent conformation, lovely on the move, very well presented & well handled; & RBV, Black’s Ch Bassodon Bilbie, 7 years dog of good conformation, showing a lovely outline both standing & on the move. Well presented. Two grand veterans of quality & good breed type.
