Thank you all for your entries, it is always a delight to judge your breed. It has been quite a while since I judged this variety & generally the coats were good. Movement was a bit erratic but mouths were OK with just one or two level bites. Size was a big issue last time I judged but it seems that you have managed to keep this under control & reduce it slightly with only one or two larger exhibits. The jokers of the Dachshund breeds & one exceptional naughty girl who had to pay a high penalty with a lower place as I was unable to access her movement, however a super bitch that I would gladly have taken home.

PD (3) 1 Phillips’ Tendrow Replayed In Blue, this a truly beautiful baby & a delight to go over. Excellent temperament & a happy go lucky nature. Good feet, a well constructed front, correct coat & moved very well for such a baby keeping his topline. A close decision for the CC & will certainly get made up quickly, just lost out on muscletone to the more mature dog. BP & RCC; 2 Dible’s Cishelvine Storm At Sea at Liebling, another nice baby that is well constructed. Great head & another good coat. Moved a little close behind today; 3 Smith’s Jethard Two To Tango at Salixian. JD (2) 1 Lewis Crooks’ Kormeese Luxury Luxor, 13 months b/t with a good coat. Nicely put together at the front. Strong masculine head. Moved reasonably well but handler needs to pay attention to his topline when stood; 2 Hickie’s Ambiesque Alto, a naughty baby for his handler. An overall good shape but coat texture a little too soft. ND (1) 1 A Alto. LD (5) 1 Moore’s Metewand Bogen By The Sea, a super masculine dog with a great head on a strong good length neck. Well laid shoulders & correct length of ribbing. Strode out well around the ring with a great driving hind movement. Excellent coat & well presented. Challenged hard for BOB but the bitch just had the edge. CC; 2 Vine & Baxter’s Cishelvine Red Admiral, liked this red dog very much. Nice head, correct eye & a good coat for a red, not quite the enthusiasm on the move as the winner; 3 Carter’s Romanchi Alkansea. OD (6,1a) 1 Smith’s Salixian Eclat, I was rather taken by this compact neat dog. He was a good size & moved very well keeping a level topline. A quality head & nice dark eye. Reasonable shoulders & well sprung ribs. Nice harsh coat but very slight wave to it. Unfortunately lacked that little extra sparkle in the challenge; 2 Segersten’s Ch Bellomis United Kingdom, good harsh coat on this red dog. Masculine head, higher on the leg than some exhibits. Moved steady around the ring but unfortunately lost his topline on the move; 3 Gibson’s Allfreys Rock Of Gibraltar.

PB (3,1) 1 Davies’ Tendrow Joie De Vivre by Atahira, I wanted to take this young lady home. She impressed me the moment she walked in the ring & I wasn’t disappointed when I went over her. Lovely head & expression, correct shoulders, excellent length of ribbing. Great quarters as she drove around the ring keeping her topline. Her one downfall was her obvious love of food & carried just too much weight. However still won the RCC. Brother to my RDCC winner, 2 great puppies; 2 Vine’s Cishelvine Sandy Shore, great coat, nice head, moved steady around the ring but not the forechest of the winner. JB (4,1) 1 Vine’s Gravetye Kiss Me Kate Cishelvine, red puppy who strode out well in a tough class. Nice size & well constructed. Good length of neck running onto a good lay of shoulder. Moved positively; 2 Paterson’s Ambiesque Allure, another nice bitch with a lovely expression & good shoulders. Just lost out on drive in movement to 1; 3 Moore’s Romanchi Mi’Kmaq. PGB (8) 1 Gibson’s Allfreys Sterchen Alnisha, a compact bitch of good size. Nice expression & eye. Excellent coat. Good angulation throughout. Unfortunately was losing her topline when on the move today in the challenge; 2 Paterson’s Ambiesque Agna, a little higher on the leg than the winner & similar comments apply, she had a good texture to her coat but not the flowing lines of 1; 3 Baxter’s Cishelvine August Breeze with Hotwire. LB (2) 1 Moore & Downes’ Aventine My Cousin Rachel, this bitch must have a highly promising future. She has a great ring presence & certainly not disappointing to go over. Lovely head & expression, lovely reach of neck flowing to good shoulder placement, fair ribbing & a super angulated rear end that enabled her to drive around the ring. However she was lucky that the puppy was carrying just that bit of extra weight! Delighted to award her CC & BOB; 2 Vine’s Cishelvine Enigma Of The Sea, nice type with good angulation, excellent ribbing, OK coat, lost out on forechest to winner; 3 Robinson’s Tagundnacht The Gypsy Girl.
