WIRE HAIRED

PD & JD (0). PGD (1) 1 Rowe’s Boloria Calico Jack, very tight harsh coated pin wire type dog with working potential. Although quite long, ribbing to match length & lovely front. Moved true & easily in front, just a touch close behind. Overall very pleasing. RBD. OD (3,1a) 1 Rollinson’s Ch/Ir Ch Nosinllor Grenadier, tight coated longer type with construction to match, strong head, nice eye, correct mouth, good forechest, front & rear assembly well constructed giving true parallel driving movement, while keeping his topline. BOB; 2 Clifford’s Ablebody Rock n Roll, lovely dog on the table, good head & expression, good reach of neck, well muscled body. Did not match the movement of 1.

PB (2) 1 Clifford’s Ablebody La Traviata, 101/2 months dark br/t, quite a large girl, long but with the spring & length of rib to support it all, lovely head & eye, good mouth, lovely in outline & all wrapped in a very harsh coat, best on the move of these two. BP; 2 Pugh & Fraser’s Bystock Black Inca, smaller almost 12 months bitch, lot to be said for rather smaller animals in this breed (assuming that this one is nearly fully grown at 1 year) where some must weigh-in at nearly 18kg, too large to be serious working dogs. Liked her very much, hope that when her movement, particularly behind, tightens up, she will do well. JB (1) 1 Rollinson’s Nosinllor Joan Of Arc, good hard coated br/t, good construction with head & neck in correct proportion, excellent front & length of rib, well placed shoulders & well angulated rear. Not quite the true rear drive that rear construction seemed to promise. PGB (3,1) 1 Poulter & Macdonald’s Lankelly Eloquent Rose, correct hard coated brindle, very impressive on the table with everything in correct proportion, almost lived up to my first impression displaying true driving movement at the front but not quite as good at the rear. Overall a lovely picture. RBB; 2 Barker & Mogford’s Sumojo Solitaire, the first softer coated red. Feminine head & expression, good reach of neck, deep chest. Little short in upper arm, this came through in a lack of drive at the front, but much better movement at the rear. OB (5,1) 1 Pugh & Fraser’s Bystock Pumpkin Pie, super bitch, almost everything about her to like, lovely head & eye, good front, not over long, well muscled quarters & good wire coat. Challenged hard for BOB & only just beaten on rear movement. BB; 2 Speak’s Rodnan the Godess Athene, lovely hard coated bitch, well muscled with everything in proportion. Very pleasing to go over but not quite the movement of 1; 3 Rowe’s Boloria Anastasio.
