A lovely entry, I thoroughly enjoyed my day with these lovely hounds. There are some dedicated breeders amongst you, the imports have been of great benefit and I feel the future bodes well for the breed. My CC winners both gaining their deserved crowns on the day, gave me great satisfaction. Thank you.

PD (1). 1 Norman’s and Ratcliffe’s Silvae Hotshot. Elegant head, correct eye, good bone and feet, sweeping neck, clean over the shoulders, nice bend of stifle, moved out well for a youngster.

JD (4). 1 McCalmont’s Silvae Patriot. V flashy and eye catching young d, so elegant, masculine head, reachy neck, everything flowed, he came alive on the move, he covered the ring with such ease, one with a bright future. BPD; 2 Moore’s Romanchi Carrier. A sound young d with a good wire jacket, excels in head and front, drove well from the rear; 3 Gibson’s Allfreys Seabiscuit.

PGD (5). 1 Norman’s and Ratcliffe’s Ermwood Buzfuz. Another one from this exhibitor that impressed me greatly. This d scores well in all departments, super size, harsh coat, head, neck and shoulders, ribbing carried well back, lovely bone and feet, movement so true. A well deserved RCC; 2 Glanville-Bigg’s Silvae Onyx at Brimarville. Much bigger stallion male, handsome head, strong bone, powerful mover, fantastic rear, straight and true, would prefer more prominent front to complete the picture; 3 Baxter’s Lankelly Timothy Grass at Kharmia.

LD (3). 1 Ticehurst’s Ermwood Fizkin at Wirecrest. Medium sized masculine d, this d also scores in coat, neck, shoulders, keel, ribbing and bone, carried a good top line and tail set, moved well; 2 Clifford’s Brockbane Papageno with Ablebody. Smaller and shorter coupled d, would prefer more neck, moved out well for handler.

OD (6). 1 Moore’s Romanchi Beaver. Super d of a lovely size, have given him top awards, as a p, I was glad to see how he had matured and to be able to award him his crowning CC. Classic head, strong bone, lovely tight padded feet, but it is his front and sweeping keel that makes him for me, his ribs carried so well back, such a good bend of stifle and tail set, strong neat hocks. CC and BOB; 2 McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Pick Wick. Such a showman as are all from this kennel. Taller elegant d with ground covering strides, this d moves like a dream. My preference lay with the keel and ribs of my winner; 3 Rollinson’s Nosinllor Grenadier.

V (3). 1 Rees’ Ch Ermwod Jolly Roger. A really handsome male in such super condition, a real credit, huge front, strong bone and long ribbing, can still hold his own in any competition; 2 William’s Ch/Ir Ch Lieblings Pick N Mix. Another lovely champion, longer cast than the winner, good neck and shoudlers, held a good top line, nice bend of stifle; 3 Baxter’s Lankelly Saffron at Kharmia.

PB (3). 1 Sexton’s and Knight’s Cloudside Rheane at Molloney. How pretty is this b. So feminine, good bone, lovely ribbing, turn of stifle and tail set, moved well showing her pads; 2 Kent’s Liebling Star Attraction (taf). Smaller red b, a real handful, good neck and length of keel, her front end is not as together as her rear end on the move at the moment.

JB (7). 1 Moore’s Romanchi Chicora. My notes say ‘fab’ and the fact that she gave me the goosebumps. Impressive dark b, lovely neck, front and bone, such a strong rear, exciting prospect; 2 Phillip’s Saxonbury Playday at Tendrow. Smaller b with that super temperament that you come to expect from this breed, loving every minute of it, moved with exhuberance; 3 Clifford’s Ritterburg Rose Adagio with Ablebody.

PGB (7). 1 Higgott’s Soneve Phoebe of Elaton. Medium sized b, good head, neck and coat, looked a picture when stacked with a beautiful chest and neat rear; 2 Phillip’s Saxonbury Playtime at Tendrow. Classy b of v good type, lovely bone, just not co-operating on the day; 3 Rollinson’s Spitchwick By The Moor at Nosinllor.

LB (8). 1 Davies’ Cempsey Centime by Atahira. I have admired this dark b before, super head, lovely to go over, good front and keel, huge bone and feet, moved with purpose. RCC; 2 Rees’ Ermwood Arabella. Medium sized b and a real showgirl, reachy neck, v good ribbing and bend of stifle. Showed v well; 3 Ferguson’s Teaselwood Tattycoram.

OB (10). WOW! What a class, teeming with quality. 1 Patton’s Lesandnic Like A Butterfly JW. This beautiful b just said ‘Hey Mister - Look at me!’. So elegant she has it all, femininity with substance and bone, well filled front, tight elbows, clean over neck and shoulders, movement so free and easy. Delighted to award this young lady her crowning CC and like her name sake makes her a champion thoroughbred; 2 McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Picnic. Fabulous champion b, my hands just flowed over her. A1 coat, such a lovely neck, another free and easy mover, a pleasure to judge; 3 Poulter’s and MacDonald’s Ch Lankelly Kelsey Rose.
