WIREHAIRED

My thanks to all the exhibitors for such a wonderful entry, the largest in the standards. It is so exciting to see our number of puppies increasing. The bitches out shone the dogs. There were a lot of dirty teeth, which I was horrified by. It is so unnecessary for teeth not to be cleaned. There is also a lack of length of rib cages.

PD (4) 1 RDCC & BP, Davies’ Atahira Bags the Blue. 10 mth Brindle. Aristocratic head with well-defined occiput and beautiful oval eyes. Good set of ear, long level top-line, nicely rounded rump and good hind angulation. Moved well. Will be looking forward to his future outcome. 2 Burke and Manston’s Bonavoir Kellys Eye Red 11 mth with a handsome head and lovely oval eye of correct size, Long length of well-sprung ribs and level top-line. Long striding movement with excellent hind angulation and extension. 3 Roberts’ Ritterburg Gallant Knight Perikles

JD (5) 1 Gibson’s Allfreys Tristran Brindle, excellent shape all over. Sported a fantastic head with a beautiful expression and well-set ears. Nicely arched neck, excellent depth and prominence of keel. Very tight feet with good strong pads. Excellent movement. 2 Clifford’s ’s Brockbane Papageno with Ablebody Brindle. Nice prominent keel with good depth. Could do with a slightly longer rib cage. Nicely rounded rump and excellent hind angulation Good movement around the ring. 3 Rollinson’s Nosinllor Grenedier

SBD (1) 1 Rowe’’s Boloria Persus. Red Brindle, harsh coat, long level topline, slightly short in upper arm. Covered the ground well.

PGD (2) 1 Clifford’’s Winter Storm Symphony With Ablebody. Harsh coated dark brindle with an excellent head. Nice set of ear and correct almond eye. Beautiful depth of forechest running into a long level topline. Need a little time for tightening of hindquarters. Moved well. 2 Rollinson’s Nosinllor Muskateer. Brindle with an excellent double coat. Good head carriage and well arched neck. Correctly placed shoulders and tight feet. Long level top-line and good hind angulation.

LD (7) 1 Patton’’s Lesandnic Limestone Lad JW This brindle has matured well and is now looking quite a picture. Excellent depth and prominence of keel and excellent shoulders. Level topline running into nicely rounded rump with good hind angulation. Long striding movement around the ring. 2 Evans’; Saxonbury Double Diamond Very little to separate from 1. Good depth and prominence of keel and excellent shoulders. Level topline running into rounded rump with good hind angulation. Just lost out on movement. 3 Orchard’s Manatek Adios Amigo

OD (8) 1 DCC Dible’s Ritlo Make Mine at Liebling. Light Brindle lad that shone as soon as he entered the ring. Didn’t disappoint me when I got my hands on him. Excellent shape all over. Sported a fantastic head with a beautiful expression and well-set ears. Nicely arched neck, excellent depth and prominence of keel. Very tight feet with good strong pads. Excellent movement, very harsh coat. 2 Speak’’s Caligari Rodnan Royal Zinc Dark Brindle with a beautiful prominence of fore-chest and great depth of keel. Excellent head carriage on long muscular neck, running into well placed shoulders. Obliquely set almond eye and broad rounded ears. Long striding movement around the ring. 3 Patton’s Hagen Daas

V (5) An excellent class of veterans who did the breed a great deal of justice. 1 Best Veteran Patton’s Lesandnic Logical Dark Brindle, excellent head carried on well angulated shoulders, good spring of ribs with excellent depth of keel. Very tight elbows and good tight feet. Level topline and good harsh coat. Moved with verve. 2 Hitchens’ ’ Ch Ashihna Buck's Fizz Light Brindle, have always admired this dog. Excellent head, good spring of ribs and depth of keel. Level topline and good harsh coat. 3 Clifford’s Ch & Ir Ch Ablebody Pizzicato

PB (15) A really promising class of babies. It would have been nice to have a minor puppy class, as I wished I had had more than one set of cards to give out. 1 Skinner’s Ritterburg Witches Brew 10_ mth compact brindle of the correct size with well-carried head on excellent sloping shoulders. Lovely spring of ribs and level topline. Excelled in movement with good extension of hindquarters showing her pads. 2 Dible’s Ritlo The Gypsys Fortune at Liebling 11 mth brindle pressing the winner hard. Flowing movement around the ring. 2 Latter’s Terony Flo Jo at Speldax Brindle with nice head and almond eye, good reach of neck. Long level topline when stacked, but lost it on the move, maybe if moved faster she wouldn’t have bunched up. Very good hind angulation. Excellent harsh coat 3 Calcott’s Baffledown Such a Delight

LB (12) 1 Gordon’s Cempsey Coquet Brindle Good head, excellent prominence of keel with good length and spring of ribs. Long level topline, moved well with fair hind extension and good angulation. 2 Dible’s Liebling On Golden Pond Red with lovely depth of fore chest and keel. Good reach of neck and correct shoulder placement. Long well sprung ribs. Nicely rounded rump with excellent hind angulation and good tight feet 3 Latter’s Terony Flo Jo at Speldax
