I was very pleased with the quality in front of me at my first dachshund appointment. there were no major issues to report and found all exhibits to be in good order and condition. I thank you for your entries.
VD (1) 1 Hunt, Ch Lauralee Huckleberry Finn At Carpaccio. A quality 8 yr old. A balanced masculine head with correct shape dark, oval eye and tidy ears. He has a good reach of neck, with correct head carriage. Clean well laid shoulders with a good return of upper arm and ample forechest. Nicely cradled front assembly. Well ribbed back with a good spring of rib. A well made rear end, with good quarters and ample turn of stifle. He moves out freely in typical style covering the ground with a true parallel action. Not quite the top and underline of younger years, but still an excellent example of the breed. BV.
JD (1) 1 Wand & Wand, Wanderhund For My Next Trick. this black and tan young man was very clean on the move. He impressed through head, balanced and nothing overdone. Liked his front assembly and he had enough forechest with good lay of shoulder. Well ribbed back, short in loin, which was strong. presented a good topline and gentle underline with good ground clearance. A good rear assembly, he stood on tidy feet, tight and well placed.
PGD (1) 1 Hinwood, Longmel Courvoissier Truffle. A lot to like about this red, coming up 2 years, hes well bodied and impresses on the move. Lovely to go over and put down in good condition. Hes all male, strong in head, clean strong neck and smartly made front. Excellent in forechest, legs well under. Clean topline and underline. Ample ground clearance and well angled rear. He moved true all ways, covering the ground.
LD (5) 1 Jones & Moes, Cwmdarhian Gordon Ramsay. This red 3 year old pleases for balance and overall construction, hes of a nice size with nothing overdone. Pleases through head, balanced with a typical expression. Stacked he looks the part, clean through neck, well placed shoulders and front assembly, well ribbed back, short loin and level topline and tailset. Liked his gentle underline and good ground clearance. He doesnt let you down on the move, covering the groundwith purpose, with excellent drive. Well presented and handled. 2 Rycroft, Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah At Trisensara JW ShCEx OS. A genuine dog, nothing overdone and of a pleasing shape and size. Good in head and eye, clean through neck and a pleasing front assembly. Ample bone and angles throughout. OD (3,1) 1 Williams, & Moes, Eng & Ir Ch Glenariff You’re Excused Cwmdarhian. What a quality red male this is, he has ring presence, balance and style. Loved his head, an excellent expression, strong jaw, good dentition, correct eye and well placed rears, of a good size. Such an elegant arched neck, with head held proud. Leading into a well placed shoulder assembly. Good forechest and keel, with ribbing well back. He has a stong clean topline, tidy tailset and a gradual underline. He stands well and has ample ground clearance. His rear is made up of good quarters, well angulated a hocks are parallell, both stacked and on the move. He is foot perfect on the move, clean every way, reaching out and driving from behind, covering the ground very well. delighted to award him CC & BOB. 2 Jennings, Marvales’s Manifesto At Jenivon. A black and tan that also oozes quality. Loved his overall shape, balance and type. Another who is typical in head and has that typical expression from those sparkling eyes. Clean through neck, running smoothly into a well made front assembly, that all dropped into place. Excelled in body, ribbing and topline. loved his short loin, and shapely croup and rear, with very tidy tailset. Strong rear assembly, with full rump and well angled, with strong hocks. Another who moved very cleanly, covering the ground well and true. RCC.
SBD/B (1) 1 Sandell, Wanderhund Grand Illusion. Red male. Pleasing head, strong jaw and dark eye,. OK through shoulders, tidy topline and underline. He has a strong rear, good bone and well angulated. moved steadily.
VB (1) 1 Wand, & Wand, Wanderhund California Girl. 8 yr old black and tan built on ecellent lines and oozes quality. She has a feminine head, balanced and a typical expression. Lovely neck, well placed shoulders and correct placement and upper arm. She has a good forechest, well ribbed back and a very smart undeline. Strong topline, short loin, smart croup and tidy tailset. Ample bone a very tidy compact feet. she has ample bone and substance. moved very freely covering the ground with ease.
MPB (2) 1 Williams, & Mills-Jones, & Moes, Cwmdarhian Pina Colada. Lovely happy red puppy whos tail never stopped wagging. A delight to go over. Clean through a typical feminine head. Clean neck with length and runs nicely into clean shoulders. Well angled front assembly, good depth for age and nicely ribbed. Kept a strong topline and a gentle underline. She has ample bone and good ground clearance. She moved tidily for age, true and will improve with age. 2 Jennings, Melriding True Colours At Jenivon. This young Black and tan at her first show was a little overwhelmed and was not going to fully play the game. She is well made throughout and when she decided she would stack looked a picture. Pleasing through head, well bodied and a clean topline. tidy croup and tailset. when she settles, she should do well.
PB (2) 1 Williams, & Mills-Jones, & Moes, Cwmdarhian Black Cadillac. At just turned 6 months , this baby already fills the eye. Feminine balancd head, dark eye and well placed ears. Very clean through neck, perfectly placed shoulders , forechest and keel, well placed front legs, ribs well back and a clean top and underline. Croup and tailset just flow. well angled rear and tidy feet. She was moved slowly by her handler and she moved so cleanly with precision, reach and drive, true from ever angle. She was best puppy and I am sure will have a bright future. 2 Rycroft, Raajput’s Dancer Divaa With Trisensara. 10 mth old B&T. typical in head, feminine & balanced . clean through long neck, well placed fron, with correct angulation. she has a level topline and tidytailset, with a gentle underline. moved tidily, but not as cleanly as 1.
JB (1) 1 Andison, Clentry Unapologeticaly Me. S Red 16 mth old. Unfortunately the handler had an injury which prevented effective handling of this bitch. She is built on strong lines, with good bone, body and substance. Has a pleasing head, clean neck and tidy front. Clean topline, with short loin and shapely croup. She was very clean on the move. Not at her happiest today.
PGB (3,1) 1 Hinwood, Longmel After Eight Truffle. Black and tan coming up 2 yrs, who is feminine throughout. She please through head, overall balance and shape. presents a clean underline, shapely rear and short loin, with strength. stacks well. very clean on the move, covering the ground cleanly and in a positive nmanner, retaining her shape. 2 Chauhan, Hundpoint Ursi. different type, longer cast, level topline and clean underline. Smart in front assemby and well angled rear. She has ample bone and substance. Not as together and as clean as 1 on the move.
LB (5,1) 1 Andison, Clentry Forget Me Not. This young lady made a typical shape, with correct angulation throughout, bone, substance and clean top and underline. She has an attractive head and pleasing expression. Clean through neck, well ribbed, extending well back and short strong loin, giving a balanced shape. Tidy croup, tailset and strong rump. Came to life on the move, very free and true, covering the ground well, keeping a smart profile and with good ground clearance. 2 Chauhan, Hundpoint Mamma Mia. Another smart youngster who cut a clean profile. Very pleasing in head, conical and balanced, strong jaw, with tidy earset and shape. Neck of good length and well placed shoulders and front assembly. OB (3) Nice class, all worthy of titles. 1 Hanney-Mitchell, Ch Bronia Solar Flare. A 4 yr old red. Feminine head, comical balanced and a sparkling eye and typical expression. Clean through neck, running into well laid shoulders, nice layback and good forechest. Liked her through body, with good ribbing and shape. She has the required bone and substance. Clean in topline, short strong loin and a gentle sloping underline completed the picture. Clean croup and tailset, which she carried well. well devloped and angled rear. She moved cleanly and tidilly, with ample ground clearance. CC. 2 Gentle, Craimose Freesia. A quality B& T bitch, who was very well built, but I thought she was carrying a little extra condition today. Very typical in head, conical and expressive eye. Pleasing through neck and a very well made front with correct angles and forechest. She is well ribbed back and has a short strong loin, giving her a balanced shape thropughout. Ample bone.
