JD (1) 1 Mcnaughton Ch Clentry Cooking Up A
Storm a 15-month-old smart looking youngster who has an attractive head of
pleasing shape, proportions and expression. True, strong front with
desirable, obvious fore-chest and depth, pleasing spring of rib and is
ribbed well back with short loin. Firm topline. Free positive movement. A
bit sensitive today which affected his presentation and outward appearance
especially when being handled. PGD (3) 1 Thomson’s Clentry Storm Out I note
he is litter brother to the previous class winner and has many of the
conformation qualities of his brother. Would be the better with less body
weight especially over the loin. He presents a very attractive profile
appearance being long and low and of satisfying proportions and balance in
angulations. True front with adequate fore-chest which I preferred to 2nd.
Sufficient ground clearance to allow free positive movement; Better mover of
the class. 2 Heel’s Daxanory Menacing Awesom a shapely 2-year-old who needs
to settle to give of his best. Attractive head both in shape and proportions
with a bit of a reticent expression. Pleasing clean lines all through. Good
length of neck, pleasing ribbing and rear angulation. Preferred his
forequarters to that of3rd. Free moving but lacking the confidence compared
to 1st. 3 Nagy’s Gravelous Harbour LD (3) 1 Jones & Moes, Cwmdarhian Gordon
Ramsay an impressive, nearly 4-year-old male who was free moving with
pleasing extension in front. Attractive, refined head with an alert
expression, clean neck of good length set into a well-made body which had
spring, depth and is ribbed well back. True, strong parallel front, tight in
elbows and having a strong prominent fore-chest. Presents an attractive
‘breed typical’ picture, both standing and moving being of ideal length,
smooth coated with a firm level top line and correct underline. My Reserve
Dog CC winner. 2 Ashby’s Rayol Dallas Cowboys At Jaxinorydax a similar
looking mature 2-year-old male who has good length, proportions and balance
but was unsettled which detracted from his general appearance. He has an
attractive ‘breed typical’ head which is of pleasing shape and expression.
Looks good when settled and standing naturally. True front and firm, angled
hindquarters. Not as settled and free in movement as 1st. 3 Starkey’s
Carpaccio Magnum P.i. at Hamoura OD (5,1) 1 Mcnaughton Cedavoch Rohan an
impressive 3-year-old b/t male of ‘eye-catching’ breed type. Clean lines,
super profile, proportions and balance. Refined masculine head and alert
expression. Good width, well angulated shoulders. Notable front and
forequarters with obvious fore-chest. Firm in body of good length, depth and
spring and having a firm level top line. Strong, stable angulated,
hindquarters of pleasing width and parallel hocks. He has enough leg length
allowing free movement with definite true extension and steady drive. A
handsome example of the Breed. My Dog CC winner
2 Jennings’ Marvales’s Manifesto At Jenivon
another 3-year-old b/t of heavier build than 1st. Another well-constructed
male. He has a sound and firm appearance both in make and shape. He shares
many of the same merits of 1st but just preferred the more agile,
proportioned, long and low appearance of 1st. Satisfying in fore chest with
true, stable front which he used to advantage over 3rd on the move. He had
purpose and extension in front movement and especially good side gait. 3
Graham’s Ch Marvale Chancellor At Ravold JW PB (4,2) 1 Mills-Jones, Moes &
Williams Cwmdarhian Pina Colada a quality 7-month-old young red bitch of
super make, shape and profile. Well grown having pleasing bone and body
condition. She is long and low and has excellent proportions with balanced
angulations front and rear presenting a very satisfying side profile. True
front, pleasing fore-chest and well-made forequarters. Stands on stable,
sound legs, front and rear. She has good spring and is ribbed well back with
good depth giving a satisfying underline. Attractive shapely head and eye.
She moved out with purpose and true front extension and rear drive with
parallel width behind. Best Puppy in Breed. 2 Jennings’ Melriding True
Colours At Jenivon a well grown 8-month-old very promising young b/t bitch.
She has a pleasing profile and body proportions set off by a lovely head
shape and expression. Not as settled as 1st nor body lines as yet but was
pleasing in bone and body both standing and on the move. True front, good
length body and firm top line and ok underline. Hindquarters firm, well
angled; plenty of quality and promise. Moved well but not as precise in
front action as 1st. JB (2) 1 Balfour’s Clentry Steal The Limelight a
15-month-old young red bitch who is well grown with pleasing bone but who is
generously covered in body. Attractive head set well on to good length neck.
True front and pleasing feet and fore chest which I preferred to 2nd. Level
top line and nicely angled hindquarters but would be the better by losing
surplus substance. The more settled mover of the class. 2 Signore Olive Sky
At Daxmaison an 8-month-old b/t youngster who has pleasing bone and body.
Giving lots away to maturity but needs to develop and tighten which should
come in time. Pleasing head shape although appeared unhappy which influenced
her expression. Unsettled on the move. PGB (5) 1 Turton’s Madrebambino
Slinky Gal At Scipsar a well bodied 2½-year-old b/t bitch who is attractive
in his overall make and shape. Lovely typy, feminine head, dark eyes and
endearing expression; head set well on a clean neck of good length. Pleasing
forequarters with true front and adequate fore chest, well bodied and ribbed
well back, deep and firm in top line, with nicely angled hindquarters and
parallel hocks. Pleasing make and shape having an attractive side profile
with obvious depth of chest. Moved well and true with extension and drive
which edged him over 2nd. 2 Mcnaughton, Clentry Steal My Thunder a
15-month-old litter sister to the Junior and Post Graduate Dog class
winners. She has the same conformation and breed qualities but needs to
settle to give of her best. Lovely head and expression and when settled she
presents a very notable breed typical appearance. One that will undoubtedly
have better days in the show ring. 3 Heel’s Daxanory Ravishing Rose LB (5,1)
1 Tomlinson’s Melisdax Memories Of May a 3-year-old b/t who was more settled
than 2nd especially on the move. She has a pleasing head of fine classic
lines with good length neck and well-made forequarters. True front and
satisfying fore-chest and tight elbows. Desirable in overall body with good
length, depth and firm level top line with strong, angulated hindquarters.
Moved with true forward purpose and drive behind. 2 Ashby’s Rayol Pumpkin
Pie At Jaxinorydax a 2-year-old rich red who impressed with her standing
profile when settled. Stands over the ground well showing off her notable
proportions and balance. Lovely head and expression. Strong neck, well-made
front and forequarters, pleasing body length, spring, depth and ribbing.
Disappointingly, she was unsettled at the wrong times when viewing her
standing and moving. 3 Balfour’s Clentry Mango Passion ShCEx OB (4) 1
Chauhan Hundpoint Mamma Mia an impressive 14-month-old quality rich red
bitch who stole the day. Striking in appearance and looks to be in her
prime. She possesses well-defined, clean lines all through with ideal
proportions, balance and sound conformation. She is in notable coat and firm
body condition. She has an appearance that pleases the eye having a lovely,
breed typical, feminine head and expression. Head set on a muscular neck;
she has graceful lines with a well-proportioned firm body and a strong level
top line. True, ideal width front with desirable fore-chest and tight
elbows; firm, strong, broad hindquarters; pleasing angulations front and
rear. Elegant in profile and head carriage both standing and moving. Pleased
to award her the Bitch CC (her third I’m told) and Best of Breed. 2 Grace &
Twaddle, Excellmagic Vanda Vogue At Sasilasy (imp Rus) an attractive, mature
4½-year-old red of elegant appearance. Satisfying in conformation and breed
qualities. Attractive, feminine head of ideal shape, proportions and
expression. She is soundly made all through with particularly pleasing front
and forequarters. Ideal balance in angulations front and rear with a notable
profile and good height to length proportions and having enough ground
clearance to allow her to be an easy mover. Came alive on the move with a
free, accurate action in front. My Reserve Bitch CC winner. 3 Tomlinson’s
