This was a real quality entry I thought, coats were dense and gleaming. Proportions were generally good too, temperaments excellent.

P D 1

1st Paterson and Paterson’s Phaeland Second Delivery to Ambiesque – Rather magnificent well grown nine months red.  Houndy head with length and strength to jaw. Prominent prosternum and upper arm of good length. Decent ground clearance , just a little wrinkle on the forelegs. Moved fairly true and just needs a little more drive .R.B.D.

J D 1

1st Hughes’ Matzell Matamua at Ivcar – Another handsome red with good ground clearance. Dark almond eye in masculine , conical head. Just a little wrinkle at his shoulder, which detracted from his otherwise fairly level topline. Not totally self assured as yet, could just do to stride out more on the move.

PG D 3(1)

1st Skipper’s Lauralee Artful Dodger – lovely black and tan, beautiful head, slight rise over nose, strong jaw. Front assembly was strong and prominent , showing just a little dewlap, topline held on the stack and on the move. Movement needs to show a bit more activity for me.

2nd Clark and Hastie’s Sirius Rising- Black and tan ,another good front, well off for bone and super underline. Lost at today as a bit up at the rear. Another who could with a bit more oomph on the move.

O D 2

1st Tite’s Ch Phaeland Special Driver at Rijobeau – masculine stallion of a red dog, rise over nose, houndy head, almond, dark eye, no dewlap.Head carried just right flowed through body. Good ground clearance, although sometimes a shade long looking when stretched out on the stack. Impressive front, could do with a bit more length in keel. Moved with drive and purpose, like he owned the place. B.D.

2nd Stringfellow’s Sontag Silver Sorcerer – red  with an attractive head, rise over nose, clearing the ground not a problem. Just a bit hunched in shoulder today and a little short in keel. Again a good mover, with purpose.

P B 3

1st Heels’ Rijobeau Ravishing Rita- I did find this ten months old red bitch entirely ravishing, she had great presence for one so young. Her head well developed and feminine with all requirements met, neck held just so, pronounced forechest, could do with a bit more keel but that may come.Flowed over body and great shoulders I thought . She held her topline, stacked and on the move. She just got me.B.B., B.P, B.O.B.

2nd Tite’s Phaeland Sweet Dancer-Another nice red, attractive with nearly everything in place, though a bit loaded in shoulder today, and rather slack in topline, and losing a little weight would help. Only nine months, and plenty time for things to come together, promising.

Clark and Hastie’s Demorgan Tania

J B 1

Stringfellow’s Oxondachs Amethyst at Sylvatica- black and tan, feminine head, big strong teeth, enough strength in jaw. Just a bit upright in front for me, though her rear angulation I felt was better, and she was such a happy mover, tail wagging away.

PG B 2

1st Armstrong’s Clentry Material Girl- red of good proportions. Strong, houndy head, enough neck and  a good handful of feet, though some wrinkle on forelegs. A little short in keel but presented a good underline. Moved out well .

2nd Pearson’s Leveliss Playground Twist – Black and tan in good order. Slight rise to nose and pleasing head. Prominent forechest but a bit overangulated for me, though therefore balanced..

O B 2

1st Paterson and Paterson’s Phaeland Sent Direct to Ambiesque – Lovely red, very feminine but with strength and power in head. Prominent in front and good shoulder placement. Good proportions and moved out with drive and accuracy. When nit picking just holding tail a little high at times, though I’m not knocking a cheery mover.R.B.B.

2nd Tomlinson’s Bensarka Golden Garter- shaded red , not really showing her years. Well enough off for front she had a good length of keel and body shape was there. Just dishing out at the rear on the move.

V B 1

1st Bensarka Golden Garter -B.V.
