A huge thank you to Northern Counties Dachshund for the invitation to judge and my wonderful steward. It was a very long weekend and for many exhibits their 5th show of the weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
Most exhibits were shown in immaculate coat condition. Some would benefit from more exercise – which improve body condition, pasterns, feet and movement. Overall shape and type was good. As was balance and type.
Veteran Dog/bitch
1ST Glasvey Double Trouble for Loggeta JW VW (Miss D M Bailey), What a lovely honest and true 8 year old girl. Balanced outline with nothing overdone, everything in the right place. Correct front and rear angulation which was used to effortlessly move her round the ring, keeping a super profile shape. True away and back and held a super topline. Good keel and ribbing. Lovely head. Good width. Shown in lovely condition and couldn’t be denied ResCC.
2ND Dagastren Martha My Dear (Mr G P & Mrs D E Lumley), A nice girl. True away and back. She was feeling the effects of a long day. Very well handled. just not the topline and overall shape of 1. Lovely temperament and type.

1ST Ranglewood Christmas Star (Miss E A Garlick). Still lot of maturing and finishing to do but a promising puppy. Moved true away and back. Lovely tight feet. Angulation and balance ok. Topline fine for age and should firm up as matures and muscles up. Lovely head and expression. Best Puppy Dog.

1ST Delsaux Made It Jumbo Band (Mr A Basha). Lovely head and expression. Good width throughout. Good spring of rib. Hammy rear and low hocks. Lacking a little in front extension and rear drive.

1st Ch Dachyclan Connolly at Bronia (Imp Aus) (Miss E Mitchell) . Young man well deserving of his title. Best of fronts. Kept a super tight topline. True away and back. Lovely coat and shown in super condition.
2ND Cedavoch Circeo (L Mcnaughton). Lovely head and expression. Overall nice type. Correct front and rear angulation. Good ribbing. Moved true. Not quite width of 1.
3RD Swansford Padraciador at Gainscroft (Miss S L Vincent)
Yearling
1ST Swansford Padawanador (Mr D Roberts). Best of fronts which gives good front extension and true coming action. In profile moved well, if in on a mission today. Super head and expression, full of breed type. Well ribbed back. Loved his type and style, just gave way to more mature and super rear action and drive of older boys today.
Post Grad
1ST Breezelyn Long Awaited by Gainscroft (Miss S L Vincent) Head ok, little broad for me. Good neck. Balanced in front and rear. Good ribbing. Super coat.
Limit
1ST Breezelyn Love You Long Time (Mrs J & Mrs A Pike & Carter). Loved the shape and type of this young man. Super head and expression. Good front angulation and tight elbows, with strong hammy rear. Kept a good topline on the move. Super overall balance and body with spring of rib.
2ND Gainscroft Dark Destroyer (Miss S L Vincent). Different type to one but still nice. Moved away and back true. Good neck into lovely front. Well padded feet. Held a strong topline on the move. Coat and condition excellent. Just preferred overall shape of 1.

1ST Ch Abydachs Return of The Night (Miss E H Geeson) This boy demanded attention on entering the ring. Super shape and oozes breed type. Lovely head and expression, best of fronts. Well ribbed back, strong rear which he used to power round the ring. True away and back and then moved up a gear when going round, showing excellent profile movement with front extension and rear drive. Delighted to award CC and BOB.
2ND Ch Swansford Gabrieldor (Mr D Roberts). Another quality male and see father of 1. Much of the same applies. Excellent breed type. Super head and expression, excels on the move. Well balanced and in super condition, well deserved ResCC.
3RD Breezelyn Long Way to Go to Loggeta (Mr L J Cross)

1ST Ranglewood Katrine (Miss P A Heap). Good type. Moved away and back true. Good neck and head. Little short in ribbing but good spring of rib.
2ND Pettigans Viva La Vida by Riveroyal (Mrs A Partridge). Different type. Would benefit from slightly more front and rear angulation. Good ribbing, held a good topline on the move.

Hands flowed over this young lady with clean lines and lots of promise. Front and rear good angulation and width. True away and back and moved with purpose. Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed
2ND Melminds Makayla (Ms Chapman). Loved this girls type and has lots of promise. Just not as settled in topline today. True away and back. Well balanced.
3RD Delsaux Twenty Carat Golden for Kendalldax (Miss S W West)

1ST Swansford Padmeadora (Mr D Roberts). This young lady looked a picture standing and didn’t disappoint going over. Moved away and back true and kept a super shape going round. Beautiful head and expression. Good body and shown in tip top condition.
2ND Ch Cedavoch Just An Illusion (L Mcnaughton). Different type but still full of quality. Longer in frame, moved round well keeping a super topline. Super head and good front and rear balance.
3RD Ranglewood Andromeda (Miss E A Garlick)

1ST Cavallibrook One Final Kiss at Maudaxi (Mr P & Mrs D Reid). Well balanced young lady with best of fronts and good hammy rear. Good head and expression. Moved away and back true. Feeling effect of long weekend as lacked that go on the way round.

1ST Melminds Up On The Catwalk (Ms Chapman). Lovely head, neck shoulders and good keel. Topline fine and moved ok away and back.
2ND Swansford Daphnedora at Maudaxi (Mr P & Mrs D Reid). Lovely type and overall shape. Just needs to fill frame. Good topline on move and true away and back.L ovely head.
3RD Abydachs Renegade Angel at Abydezi (Miss K Lacey)

1ST Swansford Debhoradora (Mr D Roberts). Another typey and quality girl from this kennel. Lovely head and expression. Super front construction. Moved away and back true. Held shape going round.
2ND Pettigans Veni Vidi Vici (Messrs C J & C Mcgavigan & Pettigrew). Another lovely head in good neck and front. Lovely overall shape. Moved away and back. Just lacked edge in profile movement compared to 1 today.

Excellent front and rear angulation and balance. Super length of stride with front extension and rear drive, while holding a strong topline. Lovey tight feet, good ribbing. She just oozed quality and delighted to award CC.
2ND Breezelyn Longing for Love Cw25 (Mrs J & Mrs A Pike & Carter). Lovely honest girl with a super shape. Moved away and back true. Everything in the right place and kept good profile shape.
