 I would like to thank Belfast dog show society for inviting me to judge the Long-haired Dachshunds and for the sporting exhibitors who arrived in cold weather conditions to give me a fabulous entry both in quality and quantity. The show ran like clockwork and there was a great atmosphere, and we enjoyed the show
Open Dog
1st: GEESON Ch Abydachs Return of the Night. 2 years old strong young dog who has a masculine hound head and lovely almond shaped eyes. Nice long ribbing with perfectly broad for chest, carries his top line perfectly well on the move and one of the best effortless movers going round the ring. Best dog.

Open Bitch
1st: GEESON’s Ch Abydachs Fire in Her Soul. 3 years old red female, one of the best examples in the breed from the top kennel of the country. Lovely feminine forehand with strong bone and nicely padded feet. Long ribbed back with strong, short loin. Decent top line.  Very sound and free flowing action. Shown in prime condition. Hair swirls gave some false impression on wither. Best bitch.

2nd: LAPPIN’s Ch Cedavoch Sweetest Taboo. Four and half years old girl with excellent head lovely long ribbing with lovely front assembly perfect height and length ratio, hind could’ve been better.
