MP 1 Furneaux Cairos Astaire, med size clear red d masculine head with a lovely eye, gd length of neck kept a gd top line standing & on the move ribbing carried well back needs to develop in front but only a baby, BPD. J 1 Booth/Elseys’ Abbalongdat Mr SOS, impressive b/t d with plenty of substance well filled front with sweep of keel gd spring of rib, lovely bone & feet, level top line & presented a balanced picture when stood; 2 Geesons’ Abydachs Oh What A Night, classy red d shown in lovely bloom, more refined in head than 1, moved out v well; 3 Jordan/Nightingales’ Rodima Kirhan. PG 1 Grimes’ Mondricia Mr Ed, elegant well marked b/t built on clean lines, lovely neck & head carriage, plenty of ground clearance, moved freely with no sign of plodiness; 2 Chapmans’ Melminds Mastercopy, smaller more compact b/t pleasing head gd bone, lower to ground than 1 tending to move a bit close behind; 3 Chicks’ Neropa Black Magic. L 1 Metcalfs’ Metadale Macquorie, gleaming red d an abject lesson in presentation his flat coat shone, med size, v clean over the shoulder, best of ribbing, gd bend of stifle, neat short hocks, this newly crowned d is a fist class exhibit but just didn’t pull out the stops on the move; 2 Lawrences’ Peverleigh Solo Vision, heavier built b/t d with such bone & substance masculine head moved with reach & drive but dropped off a little; 3 Marshs’ Penzown Fair Exchange With Marshwick. O 1 Mitchells’ Ch Bronia Monte Cristo, super red d with that blend of elegance style & substance, scores well in all depts, head reach of neck ribbing bone, lovely turn of stifle & a positive proud mover, has achieved so much at such a young age & has more to come as he matures further, RCC; 2 Negus’ Shardaroba Midnight Sun At Tarramist, lovely headed showy shaded red d gd bone, stacked he looked a picture just not so positive on the move. SPO B/T 1 Gesons’ Abydachs One Night Stand, headed a class of 3 lovely b/tans, litter brother to Oh What A Night, so that mating seems to have worked, this youngster is only not long out of p exquisite head, super size, well off for bone, gd bend of stifle out of a similar mould as his dam so shld have a bright future; 2 Lawrences’ Peverleigh Solo Vision, 2nd in limit, this lovely d had the edge over the post grad winner in development of fore chest; 3 Grimes’ Mondricia Mr Ed. SpO AOV 1 Mitchells/Dirksen/Gadolin & Dirksens’ Swed/Nor Ch Hounds Major Tom, I though this d a v gd & complete al round package, med size not big but maturity totally balanced loved his head conical being in no way coarse, well developed front & carried this width all through super ribbing & the best rear of the entry, his movement was effortless powerful with such drive coping so well with the slippery floor, he never missed a beat holding an eye catching outline both stacked & on the move, as you might have guessed he appealed to me greatly & I was delighted to award him the CC no doubt he will be a useful asset to the breed, especially with his strong powerful rear end, in the challenge for BOB I just thought the b so elegant & feminine with such a lovely neck & shoulders & thought they made a lovely pair so agreed with my co judge that the b be BOB; 2 Wedges’ Dolan No Matter What, flashy red d unlucky to meet 1 who was just what I was looking for.

LONG HAIRED BITCHES

MP 1 Mitchells’ Bronia Carmelita, top quality matured shaded red, nice type, v compact all through, super head and eye with well constructed front, super ribbing with tight elbows and correctly angulated behind, really drove around with thrust, confident p with good coat completed the picture, BPIB, BPIS; 2 Duchesries’ Bonavoir Maid Of Honour At Scandell, b/t still immature as yet, needs to tighten at the front and settle on the move, but shld mature well. J 1 Burke/Manstons’ Lagotta Fantasia From Bonavoir, b/t lovely outline, long, love, level well constructed front, good shoulder and angulation and ribs reaching well back, correctly angulated hocks, sound quarters, moved really well, quality b; 2 Surrells’ Bokra Jazz, another quality s/r beautiful had and reach of neck and excellent front assembly, elbows tight, well ribbed, lovely feet, just preferred outline of 1 on the move on the day; 3 Edward/Parkhursts’ Amber Nectar At Danward. PG A found this a difficult class to sort out. 1 Metcalfes’ Metadale Make It Happen, shaded red of smaller type, correctly constructed all through, lovely outline on the move, smartest mover by far in the class; 2 Burke/Manstons’ Lagotta La Scarlla From Bonavoir, red, well put together on the front but just didn’t have the outline or drive of 1 on the move; 3 Jordan/Nightingales’ Mystical Witch At Rodima. L 1 Mitchells’ Bronia Marionette, super b/t lovely type, long, low, level and gorgeous coat, good head and eye, correctly put together at the front and well ribbed, sound quarters, super rear and well angulated hocks, drove around the ring and looked a picture, close decision in the challenge, RCC; 2 Grimes’ Mandricia Regal Holly, smart b/t lovely head with good carriage and super reach of neck leading into correctly constructed front, nice quarters, moved well, good outline, higher in type than 1; 3 Hayes’ Rodima Dark Crystal Mit Dialhouse. O 1 Roberts’ Champ Swansford Vivadora, top quality b, s/red with superb head carriage and reach of neck, excellent front construction, good shoulder placement with ribbing reaching well back, good width all through, sound quarters, nice hocks and v compact, drove easily around, without any exaggeration and looked like she could go on forever, close decision in the challenge but her reach of neck and front extension won her the CC and with the agreement of my co judge, BOB and on to the BIS; 2 Geesons’ Ch Abydachs Give Me The Future, another super b, b/t lovely head well ribbed and good front, looked well moving just not the easy extended movement of 1 on the day, but v worthy champ; 3 Metcalfes’ Metadale My Way. SpO (B/T) 1 Atkins’ Ch Kantis Koko Chanel, another top quality b/t, lovely type, long, low, level correctly constructed on both front and back ends, moved well with correct outline, worthy champ; 2 M Regal Holly; 3 Plevins’ Witchespell Merlinella. SpO (AOC) 1 Metcalfes’ Made In Heaven, red, smaller in type, correctly assembled at the front and back, and moved well, giving a good outline, just a little narrow for me. Muriel Rhodes Mem O St 1 Geesons’ Abydachs Attitude, smart young b/cream, well put together in all depts, and moved liked a dream; 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Tiger.
