P 7 (1)

1st Kay’s Clentry Sheer Khan – 8 months red brindle dog who was made up so well. Attractive head, strong neck, super outline, with a placed front assembly, sternum of good length giving a lovely underline.Hind angulation in balance with front. He moved really well for a baby , just lost his self assurance as time went on, great promise. B.P.

2nd Russell’s Russteck Tea Cake – 7 months black and tan bitch of lovely type, by the same prestigious sire as the winner (as was the 3rd place dog) and also a lovely shape , great coat and condition . Moved out with activity just thought her eye a little rounder.

3rd Peel’s Clentry Hear Me Roar.

Res Hutchison’s Russteck A Piece Of Cake

J 7 (2)

1st Peel’s Clentry Knock Em Dead Norman – black and tan dog , spot on for size and weight, good bone and well fitted jacket. Masculine head and decent eye. Well placed prosternum and good length of rib, balanced and 2 to 1 proportions, super mover. Unfortunately he was unsettled in the line up or may have overtaken his kennelmate.

2nd Barrs Wolferlow Justina of Ellaness – black and tan bitch of good proportions and a pleasing outline, topline held stacked and on the move, though a bit naughty at times, where she was active and true.

3rd Thomson’s Clentry Nippy Sweetie at Ziveraat.

Res McAuley’s Elnside Pickle Pepper

N 3 (1)

1st Clentry Nippy Sweetie – black and tan bitch who was very unobliging in previous class, but got her act together a bit better. In lovely coat and condition and pleasing proportions, prominent prosternum, she strode out actively this time.

2nd Elnside Pickle Pepper – red bitch, had a good overall shape and in lovely dense coat but just not enough forefront for me.

3rd Kay’s Lochlip I believe In Magic

Res Samson and Samson’s Buzz Into This Lightyear

PG D 3 (1)

1ST Russell’s Stargang Tyrion Russteck – masculine brindle dog, with a correct equidistant skull and muzzle, dark eye and strong neck. Decent front and a pleasing body shape with 2 to 1 proportions. Really moved out well, decent stride and well shaped feet with good bone

2nd McAuley’s Elnside Solar Moon – black and tan dog, again with good shape and proportions and in super dense coat, just a little wide behind on going away, though active mover.

OD 2 (1)

1ST Peel’s Stargang Eye Of The Tiger – quite a cracker, this brindle powerhouse is a true Dachshund in miniature, houndy head , strong in jaw, crest to neck and well held up front. Well off for bone and with good length of ribbing and short loin. Angulation correct and really using himself to move true and freely. B.O.B.

PG B 6(2)

1st Thomson’s Stargang Wagtail for Zilveraat –shaded red bitch, real quality houndy head again , maybe a bit more dewlap than ideal but great length and strength in neck, super shape and correct proportions. Angles good fore and aft and moved with activity and decent stride. R.B.O.B.

2ND Peel’s Clentry Gooseberry – black and tan bitch in dense jacket who though well made has a tendency to round her quarters on the stack Liked her balance in body and she moved true.

3rd McAuley’s Elnside Tetley Makatea

4th Kay’s Lochlip On An Angels Wing

OB 8 (5)

1st Stargang Wagtail for Zilveraat

2nd Finkle’s Clentry Despicable Me – clear red bitch, maybe a wee bit overawed, but good overall shape, pretty in head, very feminine.Slightly longer in leg but moved out well, true fore and aft and with free active stride.

3rd McAuley’s Elnside Solar Eclipse

P 3

1ST Rodger’s Cedavoch Sophisticate- 6 months red bitch, just right for her age. Head of good balance, strong jaw, length to neck and prominent prosternum reaching well underneath. Her body shape is correct and with well ribbed to short loin. Strong feet of good shape , in super coat and moved freely.

2nd Peel’s Clentry Tooty Fruity – 10 months red brindle bitch, pleasing head, super shoulder placement. The rear end has not quite caught up at the moment , so she couldn’t quite hold her topline today. Also in lovely condition.

3rd Peel’s Tramardachs Into Infinity

J 2

1ST Rodger’s Glenarriff Qui Vive at Thundergay – 11 months red bitch , so feminine but with enough substance. Well off for bone with grand big feet. Lovely almond dark eye , good length to head, strong neck and prominent sternum. Balanced angulation front and rear , 2 to 1 proportions and ribbing well back. She moved true and strode out actively, super coat and condition. B.P. and B.P.I.S.

2ND Kay’s Olympius Pride Jump Up at Lochlip (Imp Rus)- young black and tan male, completely different type, leggy, but well made and with substance. Masculine , tapering head, dense coat, active true mover.

N 1

1st Mc Naughton’s Cedavoch Urbane- beautiful shaded red 6 months puppy ,dark eye of almond shape, glorious head. Correct proportions and well shaped feet. Good forefront and length to second thigh. Very much a baby on the move.Didn’t present for best puppy.

PG 1

1st Kay’s Grainne Lannister at Lochlip(Imp Ita) – black and tan bitch, liked her angulation front and rear, meaning she moved freely, on decent feet, longer in the leg. Good ribbing carried well back. Would just have preferred more length to muzzle to complete the picture.

OD 2

1ST Peel’s Clentry Pepe Le Pew – handsome brindle male with correct outline, topline held well. Balanced head, good angles fore and aft and well boned. Strength and length to ribbing and with good bone . Moved out happily and true coming and going, active stride. R.B.O.B.

2nd Mc Naughton’s Cedavoch Tropical Storm – mature shaded red of happy disposition and good condition, moving out with activity. Liked his head shape, eye and earset. Just felt he was a shade long for me.

OB 3

1st Mc Naughton’s Cedavoch Windstorm – such an eye catching, feminine, shaded red bitch who just shouted quality, a pleasure to look at and go over.Shining coat, attractive head, equidistant muzzle and skull, well shaped dark eye. Length to neck, prominent prosternum, 2 to 1 proportions, well off for bone and great angulation. Moved beautifully. B.O.B., B.I.S.

2nd Rodger’s Ch Thundergay Bebop A Lula – another classy lassie, well known black and tan who, although now a veteran still moves so actively and freely with super topline and prominent front. Great dense coat and in lovely condition.

P 2

1st Mains’ Scotiablue Matilda – 9 months cream bitch who was a bit unobliging on the table but moved fairly well, holding topline.Pretty head and profuse flat coat, plenty of bone, sprung ribbing. Could stand more weight to her advantage. B.P.

2nd Kasprowicz’s Ada Aris at Daniello (Imp Pol) – gleaming black and tan 9 months bitch in beautiful flat coat, squarer in outline and high on leg.Angulation equal at each end, femine head, moved true.

N 2

1st Heiser’s Polinard Noblis – black and cream bitch, attractive, balanced head, decent front and sternum reaching well back as did ribbing, so surprising that she had such a tendency to roach her back. Glossy flat coat and large feet, moved freely.

2ND Ada Aris at Daniello

PG 3 (2)

1ST Heiser’s Polinard Kimber – red male, who according to the catalogue was born in 1970!! Masculine head, though slightly watery eyes which I was assured was an allergy. A good handful of feet, prosternum and sternum in the right place and ribbing well back. Active mover though a little wide in front

OD 1

1ST Paskins and Paskins’ Dinkidax Sandrayan at Kindeace – handsome red dog ,matured well, all male, houndy head of balance, though would prefer a more almond eye. Large front feet as required and wrap around shoulders.Hind angulation also good and ribbing well back. Super flat soft coat and strode out freely. Really stood out as B.O.B.

OB 1

1ST Mains’ Scotiablue Lily Bell – 10 years young black and tan with good head proportions, lovely dark eye, decent ribbing and good sized feet. Tends to stand bum high on the table but topline correct on the floor and on the move. Coat of good quantity and texture. R.B.O.B.

  P 2

1st Paskins & Paskins’ Bronia Final Kiss at Kindeace – bonny six months black and tan bitch, straight soft gleaming coat. Liked her proportions and pleasing head shape and length with almond eye. Good length to neck , prominent prosternum and lovely shape, on grand feet. So promising and won on her truer movement in front. B.P.

2nd Paskins’ Kindeace Scarlett O Hara – lovely red 10 months bitch of maybe heavier type . Lovely head shape and proportions. Strong topline. Plenty coat of right texture and strode out freely, just tending to throw her front feet out a little at the moment

N 1

1st Paskins’ Cedavoch It’s Taboo at Kindeace – very masculine red dog in lovely soft coat, good front assembly , a little bit narrower behind. Well held topline and happy active mover. Just felt he was slightly broader in head than I prefer.

PG 2 (1)

1ST Mc Naughton’s Cedavoch Seductress - feminine black and tan bitch, neat size but wth a good handful of feet. Pleasing front with high prosternum and with length to sternum underneath. Matching hind angulation and free on the move, holding topline.Flat coat.

OD 2

1st Mc Naughton’s CH Cedavoch the Alchemist – handsome masculine shaded red dog of quality and substance. Beautiful head of balanced proportions and well off for bone. Appropriate length and strength to neck and body and freely moved both out and back and laterally. R.B.O.B.

2nd Lindsay’s Bronia Plutus – another mature red in super coat and condition , also pleasing head and proportions, again with substance and good feet. Just appears a bit tied in at elbow on the move for me.

OB 3

1st Mc Naughton’s Cedavoch Sweetest Taboo – shaded red with correct textured coat and the right amount of it. Super bone and liked her 2 to 1 proportions. Strong bone, robust ribcage and well held topline. Feminine head with muzzle and skull equidistant, pleasing reach to neck . moved with style and length of stride. B.O.B.

2nd Paskins and Paskins’ CH Abbeydachs Summer Dream – lovely veteran red bitch of super shape and gleaming as always. Ladylike head and eye , just looking somewhat thicker in neck/shoulder now. Still moving well.

3rd Paskins and Paskins’ Territoriya Lubvi Vesna at Kindeace (Imp Rus)

P 2 (1)

1ST Russell’s Russteck Dancing In The Dark – attractive and feminine 11 months brindle bitch in top notch harsh jacket.Head, neck and topline all flow and of good proportions and underline. Decent prosternum, though could maybe do with greater length of ribbing. Matching fore and hind angulation and true and free mover. B.P. and R.B.O.B.

J 3

1st Russell’s Russteck All Eyes On Me – very elegant brindle 11 months dog, litter brother to puppy winner. Also in a wonderful harsh coat, good forechest and length of rib, excellent hind angulation and true mover, just felt him rather high on the leg at the moment.

2nd Thompson’s Charansco Back To Black – light red brindle bitch whose proportions and shape appealed. All of a piece and with dark almond eye, moved freely with good stride. Coat rather soft for me though.

3rd Kirkwood’s Helydon Magical Mika

OD 2 (1)

1ST Kirkwood –Emery and Kirkwood- Emery’s Ch Helydon Laird Loki – pleased to get a chance to go over this charming young brindle. He has tremendous presence and substance in a small parcel. Good width to muzzle in a balanced head, dark eye, well set on ears.Reach to neck and a wraparound front. He was somewhat contrary with his owner on the move at times but delighted to award him B.O.B. and R.B.I.S

OB 4(3)

1ST Kirkwood-Emery’s CH Helydon Fabulous Freya – brindle mature bitch , muzzle and skull of equal proportions, all of a piece with a good forechest, sprung ribs could do with more length as could neck but pleasing angulation . In harsh jacket and such a happy active mover, topline held at all times.
