I would like to thank the Committee for their kind invitation to judge Best in Show, and also for their hospitality.
I had pleasure in awarding Best in Show to the Standard Wire Haired Hutchings' Tendrow I Am The One From Collidach JW. This young bitch oozes quality, she has great ring presence. Lovely head, correct bite, almond eye, strong neck flowing down to well placed shoulders. Good length of ribbing. Substantial bone. Strode out well maintaining her topline. I loved her.
Reserve Best In Show The Standard Smooth B/T lad, Kireton Beau Diddley. This masculine dog has improved with age, combining strength with muscle. A strong masculine head, sufficient neck, well ribbed. Strode out well and with purpose.
Best Puppy was a B/T Miniature Smooth Haired bitch Kerry's Kireton Hebe. This youngster has a lovely head and eye, great reach of neck, lovely length of rib, correct shoulder placement and rounded rear quarters. The soundest movement, striding round the ring with confidence. This was the one I wished I owned. I shall follow her career with interest.
Reserve Best Puppy The Standard Wire Haired Smith's Saxilian Eau Rouge, 9 months old, and still got a lot of time to mature. He had a strong masculine head, good bite, good shoulders, and has bone and substance. Confident mover.

I was really happy to be asked to judge at this clubs show as it has become one of my favourite shows as its always so plesant and friendly. I would also like to thank my steward for the day Manish Chauhan for an excellent job keeping things running smoothly.

1 Kerry Kireton Hebe 8 month Black & Tan with a lovely well shaped head and eye, good length of neck into a correct shoulder and enough keel, well ribbed with short loin and good angulation, moved well holding topline through out. BP Delighted to see her go BPIS 2 Kent Lokmadi Magic Dragon 6 month shaded red, she has all the qualities of the the 1st place just on the day I preferred the movement of 1. I am sure she will have a good future. 3 Hamer Ambershire Delilah

1 Jennings Duddondax Judge Jude 15 month red dog, a larger type but does have a very nice outline, he has a good shape head and a well constructed front he holds his topline and moves out well.
2 Hamer Ambershire The Sorcerer a smaller red of 12 months. Lovely head and neck, front not as strong as 1 and did not move as well but has time to mature.

1 Halsall Sandanca Melisandre For Shelsall Black & Tan bitch of a nice size, goo shaped head and neck, strong shoulder and good ribbing, rear angulation correct held topline on the move.
2 Price Samlane Desdemona Red bitch nice head and neck but shoulder lay not as strong as 1 good ribbing moved well holding topline but she was a bit unsettled at times.

Roberts Wingcrest Supersonic to Denver Black & Tan dog. A well shaped head with a strong almost an arrogant expression, good front with tight elbows slightly longer on the leg giving him good clearence, good ribbing and held his topline. Moved much better in the challenge than his class which helpt him to BOB.

1 Kent Magic Dragon Shaded red bitch, a lovely head with correct eye, good shoulders and keel, level topline with good rear angulation moved ok, would have liked a bit more ground clearence. RBOB 2 Hamer AMCH Criscross Full of Grace for Ambershire Chocolate & Tan bitch, fought hard for 1st, has a lovely shaped head and correct shoulder and strong front, held her topline on the move correct length of rib with good rear angualation I just felt 1 had a little more drive on the move.

1 Hutton Matali Victory Asmik to Dachalune (IMP RUS) Black Dapple & tan, 9 months, a nice shaped head with enough neck and good shoulder would like a bit more forechest, hrlp topline, good rear angulation was a bit unsettled stacked. BP 2 Irvine Bronia The Dutchman 10 month red dog lovely hound head with a almond eye, held his topline and moved well. 3 Breese Silkdown Samson

1 Geeson Abydachs Alohomora Black & Cream 14 month bitch I personally would rather she had less cream on her face but look past and she has a lovely head with a pleasing eye. Reasonanble length of neck into a good front and shoulder. Holds her topline at all times moves well with good drive. BOB 2 Brearley Metadale Baris Avec Xanadax cream dog, another lovely type with a good front and angulation moved ok just lost topline on the move.

1 Mee Barlaine's Springtime Smaller red bitch, carrying a bit too much weight which spoilt her overall outline, but that said she does have good angulation and moves well holding her topline. Withdrawn from BOB due to an injury.

1 Mee Barlaine's Golden Delight Red bitch, was a little unsettled today but still a nice head good keel with good length of rib, a good topline moved well.

1 Roberts Ch Ralines Rob Roy to Denver Cream dog lovely head with very good pigmentation a bit heavy in neck and shoulders, holds a level topline stacked and on the move, has good angulation RBOB 2 Breese Silkdown Phoenix Rising Shaded red, good shaped head front ok held topline stacked and on the move.

1 Brearley Labbadax Eyecatchin Shadow At Xanadax Black & Tan dog, a larger type but again he can carry it. Front ok has good ribbing and short loin with good rear angulation. 2 Reston Ranglewood Gloxinia shaded red bitch, nice head with good expression, front ok with adequate ribbing, would benefit from a bit more help from handler.

Thank you to the Association for asking me to Judge, I know a lot of demanding work and dedication it takes by the Committee and helpers to put on such a well organised show. To the exhibitors for the entries, there were some lovely dogs to go over, to my steward Manish Chauhan who kept the ring in order. I must not forget the young ones who helped, hope there interest in the dog world continues. The home cooking was fabulous which all helped for me to have a lovely day.
P (2) BP. 1. Kugow & Holt’s Waldmeister Jonah 7 months old Dog, what a showman for one so young. Handsome head with dark eye, well set ears, solid shape, well muscled, nice spring of rib, super wire coat, moved with drive going away and towards. 2.Kay’s Kaytian Birthday Wishes 8 months pretty red bitch, did not want to co-operate for the handler on the table today, but when on the move kept her top line and moved with drive. lovely coat, J.N.(0) PG (1) Kay’s Kaytain Tempest Over Haiti. Red dog, well proportioned throughout, handsome head, kind eye, strong hindquarters, held his topline on the move. O.(3,1) BOB. 1 Dance’s Emem Gloria Sunshine. Feminine bitch, lovely head and expression, kind eye, good reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, well angulated front and rear, strong and level top line and muscled throughout, super coat, moved happily round the ring with correct movement both going away and coming towards. 2 RBOB Price’s Samlane Belleza JW. Lovely brindle bitch, well proportioned throughout, delightful head, with kind eye and sweet expression, correct lay of shoulders, nice coat, moved well in parallel movement.

Brearley’s Lyndarlea Silver Wave at Xanadax 11year old long haired silver dapple dog, handsome head, kind eye, beautiful coat, just preferred the movement of 1.

(3,1) Brearley’s Metadale Major Impact on Xanadax, 9 year s/r longhaired dog, conical head, and kind eye, plenty of forchest, well arched neck and super coat, good construction, with level top line and spring of rib, she looked to be enjoying her day out. 2. Reston’s Ranglewood Gloxinia 91/2 year old s/r longhaired bitch, another lovely Veteran Nice shaped head , pleasing expression, just liked the overall balance of 1.
