My thanks to the committee of SKC for inviting me to judge and to the exhibitors for entering under me. And to my two super stewards for keeping the ring running so efficiently. For my BOB and Best Puppy, I selected the exciting puppy bitch Helydon Yer Yolo (Misses A & A Kirkwood-Emery). My Best Dog was the very smart Bimini Moonrise at Carlita (Mrs C Mills-Jones), my reserve Best Dog was awarded to Wistex Perfect Storm JW (Miss J & Miss D Stephenson & Mason). My choice for Reserve Best Bitch was Wistex Taking It Easy (Miss J Stephenson). For Best Veteran I selected the youthful Ch Carlita Sunrise JW (Mrs C Mills-Jones) and my Best Special Beginner was Carcorn Raphael's Racer (Mr N & Mrs C Corner).

1ST Gralinn November Air (Mrs D E Whitehouse)
Smart young dog who is progressing in all the right ways, mature for his age and presents a balanced picture. His head is developing well, good jaw and overall proportions, eyes dark and well-shaped to give a masculine expression. Good through the neck in to well set shoulders and return of upper arm, chest developing well for his age, good underline and well ribbed up, hold his topline well on the move. Well angulated hindquarters and tail set on well. Super harsh coat. Should do well.

Smart little man, he has a pleasing head and expression, good through the neck into well set shoulders, would like a little more return of upper arm. Well made in rib and a firm loin. Lost his topline on the move a little and was a shade close behind. Super coat and condition.

1ST Bimini Moonrise at Carlita (Mrs C Mills-Jones)
I liked this chap on the stack, good overall balanced and well proportioned. He has a super head piece, strong muzzle with good fill under the eyes, good eyebrows and beard all giving a typical masculine expression. Neck strong into a well-made front, shoulders well laid back and good return of upper arm. Stands on good strong legs, well boned and good feet. Moved out well with good rear drive. Best Dog
2ND Wistex Perfect Storm JW (Miss J & Miss D Stephenson & Mason)
Another smart dog with good overall balance. He has a smart head and expression, enhanced by a super eye. I liked his overall make and shape, Shoulders well placed and enough return of upper arm, he is well bodied with good ribs, a little longer in loin and a level topline. Coat of good texture and well presented. He wasn’t as tidy as the winner on the move today which cost him the class but happy to award him Reserve Best Dog.

Smart little chap who was clearly enjoying his day, his head is well proportioned, good overall shape, would like a little more work. Neck is good in to shoulders, which are well set, would like a little more return of upper arm. Stands on good legs and feet. Well made in body, held his topline well. Rear quarters well angulated, tail set on well. Excellent coat of good harsh texture. Moved out well in profile but would have like him a little tidier as he came towards me. My Best Special Beginner.

1ST Helydon Yer Yolo (Misses A & A Kirkwood-Emery)
This little lady is very special; she came into the ring full of look at me attitude. She is feminine and well proportioned, super profile on the stack. Her head is well made with a conical shape; her feminine expression is enhanced by lovely dark eyes. Good through the neck into a good front assembly and correct return of upper arm, forelegs correctly placed. Well made in body, ribs well back and level topline. Well made quarters, hind legs straight and parallel. Moved so well for one so young, she just stole the show for me and had to take top honours. Best Bitch, Best of Breed and Best Puppy. I am sure she will have a bright future ahead of her.
2ND Kimbleholme Reelo Kaytian (Mrs J & Miss J Kay)
Another smart puppy but just six months and giving a lot away to the winner in finish. She has a pretty feminine head and expressions, head is well shaped with a good muzzle, dark eyes and ears set on well. Good length of neck in to well placed shoulders. Good front assembly, good ribs, a tad longer in loin. Good quarters with good angles. Coat coming together nicely. Just needs to settle on the move to complete the picture which she will do in time.

1ST Russteck Eyez Got Class (Mrs C Russell)
Young lady just 13 months with a lot to like about her, pleasing head and expression, good jaw. Neck muscular in to well set shoulders, stands on well boned legs, would like better feet, well made in body, good quarters, well angulated. Would like her a little better in hocks. Did enough on the move to win the class but needs a little more drive.
2ND Rioban Trinket (Mrs D E Whitehouse)
I liked this b/t bitch for overall type, she is well made without any exaggeration, just looked a little immature in body today. Head is feminine, enhanced by a good eye, neck clean into a well assembled front, needs to drop into her chest a little, good through the body into well-made hindquarters. Did enough on the move but not as good in rear action as the winner today

Another who I thought was very smart and liked a lot, she is a feminine bitch with a good head piece enhanced by a good eye, ears are set on well. Her shoulders are well laid, good depth to her keel. Stands on well boned legs and good feet. Well made in body, ribs well back and firm in loin. Moderate rear angulation. In super harsh coat and condition. Moved well, good footfall, just not quite the verve of the puppy winner so had to be content with Reserve Best Bitch today.
2ND Helydon Vexy Vixen JW (Mr G Kirkwood)
Another smart lady with a lot to like about her. I liked her head and expression, firm jaw, and a pleasing eye. Strong neck into well laid shoulders, enough return of upper arm and depth of forechest. Stands on good legs and feet. Good through the ribs which are well back and a firm loin, she held her topline well throughout. Well developed quarters, Moved out well, not quite as tidy as the winner in rear action today.
