My thanks to all exhibitors for your entries I had a very enjoyable day with you, it was only slightly tainted by one exhibitor’s unsporting behaviour.

Moving on, all exhibits were clean and well cared for although some were a little more well cared for, leaving them a little oversized.  All had good temperaments, a couple of younger exhibits just needed more time to settle and get used to being gone over.

MPD – 1. Lordscairnie Dubious Love (Mrs S F Marston Teal) – a pleasing youngster with plenty of time to develop although he could do with a little more bone. Good head planes and length of muzzle scissor bite. Firm muscular topline when stacked. Enough chest and ribbing to ample rounded hind with good angulation. 2. Dachienne Midnight (Mrs J Whyte) – This young man was of similar age. I felt he had a better eye shape and well framed head ample forechest. He had the better coat of the two of them but his hind angulation was not as good although this could improve as he settles. PD. 1. Kimbleholme Blitz (Mrs A Jones) - A promising boy with good bone. Well balanced head with dark eyes of medium size and shape. Long neck into nicely laid shoulders which were broad and long ample oval chest nicely sprung ribs and flexible loin. He had a descent coat which bodes well for adult-hood. His feet were full and broad. On the move he was clean and positive with a free reaching stride BPD 2. Dachienne Midnight (Mrs J Whyte) - Comments as in MP JrD. 1. Rednapp Sandbanks (Mrs J & Mrs L Livingston & Westwood) – Just within size. He had a good length of ear and oval shaped eye enough chest although could do with a little more rib. He had a reasonable coat.  2. Griffingate I Have A Dream (Mrs Le & Mr N Moss & Silvester) – This young boy is carrying puppy body and losing some would help with his size. He is well boned. PGD. 1. Dereheath Shaken Not Stired at Birichino (Mrs S & Mrs H.m. & Mr D.g. Gilkes & Storton & Storton) Lots to like about this young man clearly a hound with his conical head shape lovely well filled forechest and nicely ribbed back. Well rounded hindlegs with strong muscle and correct angulation. On the move he kept a firm topline and strong reaching drive. Correct length of leg to height giving good ground clearance. A strong contender in the lineup. LD. 1.  Kimbleholme Sudoku (Mrs A Jones) – Well presented with a good jacket. Hound shaped head and correct mouth finished with a small beard nice length of neck into shoulders and good ground clearance. He had ample bone and lovely full broad feet, enough rib to flexible muscular loin. On the move he held his topline. The future is bright for him. 2. Molloney Woody or Won't He at Ertekes (Mesdames Sexton & Dasilva) – I was splitting hairs with these two. He had the harsher coat of them although did not have the tightness of foot of one. Nicely laid shoulders and ample bone well ribbed back. His topline could be a little firmer on the move. 3. Emem Django (Ms M Coveney) OD. 1. Ch Stargang Pot of Gold at Ridanflight (ai) (Mr S & Mrs E P Rose & Blackburn) – Fully mature red boy, so well made and completely balanced. Super type and size. Appealing masculine head, very well angulated front, long ribbing and short loin. Super rear which he used so well on the move with his tight well knuckled feet. In excellent coat and hard muscular condition. He won on maturity CC BoB 2. Ch Emem Solar Power JW (Mrs M Dance) – A boy on a mission very smart with balance. Good length of neck into correctly laid shoulders, ample breadth and depth to chest, well ribbed back to short muscular loin. His tail was a super extension to his spine which he held at the correct height on the move. He powered out around the ring carrying his best jacket today which he wore well. I was really nip picking RCC. 3. Carlita Sunrise JW (Mrs C Mills-Jones) VD 1. Kimbleholme Jackpot (Ms S P Feetham) – at 7+yrs a boy we don’t see very often. He is so well made. A lovely kind oval shaped eye hound shaped head and skull and correct length to muzzle. Enough chest with depth he has good ground clearance and kept in correct muscular condition. Some youngsters could learn from this one.  2. Jantar Red Horses (Imp Pol) (Mrs G J Bruty) – Shown on a loose lead pleasing and masculine. A Chocolate who was a little larger than most and clearly very well loved as he was a very happy boy and a joy to see.  MPB. 1. Emem Hazel Sunshine (Mrs M Dance) – This very happy extrovert. Such a feminine head with dark oval shaped eye correct dentition and scissor bite. Length of neck into shoulders tight elbows and well ribbed back. Enough muscle tone to her almost round rump. She moved with such confidence you couldn’t ignore her. BP 2. Helydon Tartan Talula (Misses A & A Kirkwood-Emery) – Similarly aged girl giving a well-shaped silhouette from this youngster. She had a classic head which topped her strong neck with slight arch. Nicely laid shoulders prominent forechest firm topline. Well angulated hind quarters giving her a good driving action. I preferred the boldness of 1. 3. Moonshe May Bee (Mr T & Mrs A Crossman & Kennedy) PB. 1. Kimbleholme Barbu (Mrs J J Chugg) - Super feminine with a pleasing outline on the stand and well presented, typical head and nicely made forequarters. Good spring of rib, gave a lovely profile on the move. 2. Bardot's Brigitte (Imp Swe) (Mrs G Mcdermott) – Nicely made although needs time to develop a working partnership. Very pretty and a attractive size level topline held on the move with ample ground clearance. JrB 1. Gralinn Sunshine Dancer (Mrs D E Whitehouse) – a Wild Boar in colour with harsh jacket. Appealing head and expression from oval dark eyes. Nicely laid shoulders and well sprung ribs firm topline and strong loin she moved with attitude and drove from behind.  2. Stargang Fantasy (Mrs J E Walker) – A red girl who had plenty of coat today. Red’s are not the easiest of dogs to show, timing a strip is a complete guessing game and take a little longer to come back into full coat. She has some room to further develop and fill out. Ample forechest and enough ribbing well rounded rump and moved well 3. Griffingate Elizabeth (Mr J & Miss G Rowberry). PGB 1. Bimini to The Moon and Back (Mrs S J Jones) – A lovely girl so well balanced and with super feminine head with oval shaped eye correct dentition and scissor bite nicely filled forechest. Ample bone lovely ground clearance and a powerful driving action. She will be taking top honours soon just need to mature. 2. Helydon Quickstep Queeni (Mr G Kirkwood) – Another wild boar not the harshness of coat as one. She had a well-balanced skull to muzzle with the darkest of oval eyes a better fill of chest. Pleasing topline held on the move well rounded rump with plenty angulation. 3. Carcorn Violet Valentine (Mr N & Mrs C Corner). LB 1. Archidax Dark Phoenix (Mrs West) – I have admired this girl many times, today her red jacket was in perfect condition. Perfectly balanced with excellent hight to length appealing expression from darkest of eyes full black pigmentation lovely length of neck slightly arched into correctly laid shoulders ample bone to tight well-padded feet nicely filled forechest with ample keel, spring of ribs that reached back to her short muscular loin. Her hind quarters were round and powerful. She moved with confidence and grace I felt this girl was worthy of top honours. In the challenge she was not quite right RCC. 2. Wistex Taking It Easy (Miss J Stephenson) – A shapely girl in good harsh coat today firm topline and clean underline well ribbed back with muscular loin. She drove around the ring although could be moved a little too quickly at times. 3. Rozelle Are You Ready (Mrs R J Mullen). OB 1. Emem Letty Bee Sunshine JW (Mrs M Dance) – This young girl was a pleasure to go over. She was compact with enough length. Feminine expression from oval shaped dark eyes correct width of skull with length of muzzle finished with requisite furnishings. Fitting neck with slight arch into shoulders that were muscular without coarseness enough bone and clearance to ground and well-padded feet and super short nails. She has ample ribbing that reached back to her muscular short loin. Her hind was lovely and round, plenty of muscular power. On the move she had a firm topline. She moved out with a strong sound purposeful stride. BCC 2. Bimini Chasing Moonbeams (Mrs S J Jones) – A lovely girl not as compact as one but was very well balanced. She had a typical hound shaped head and high set ears that framed her face. A kind expression from dark eyes suitable furnishings to complete. Her topline line was firm and strong with ribs that extended well back on the move she was steady. Today I felt she had more to give on the move. 3. Helydon Nifty Nairn JW (Misses A & A Kirkwood-Emery). SpBB 1. Janter Chanson (Mrs L Flynn) – As a puppy it is early days for showing for this pairing and getting to develop a good relationship with confidence.
