My thanks to all exhibitors for their entry and the sporting way in which they accepted my decisions.   Quite a few close decisions in some classes,  the main faults being lack of forechest,  front angulation and ribbing.  Most were well covered and presentation on the whole was pretty good.   Pity about the amount of baiting on the table, it’s difficult to assess a dog that is constantly looking for titbits instead of concentrating on standing still.

Veteran Dog (4,1a)

  1.   Rose’ CH. RIDANFLIGHT RICARDO.   What can I say about this lovely boy, now 10 years old and still moving like a 2 yr.old. I awarded him his 3rd CC about 8 years ago and my opinion of him hasn’t changed, he has an excellent front assembly, is well ribbed and has sound well rounded quarters with action to match.   He moves totally parallel fore and aft and maintains his super outline on the move. Pleased to award him the DOG CC & BEST VETERAN.
  2. Jones’ CH. BIMINI STARSTRUCK. Another lovely male, 8 year old son of Ricardo, well balanced throughout, super forehand, ribbing and hindquarters, he moves true coming & going, excellent coat presentation, he has many of his dad’s qualities , close up for Res.CC.
  3. Fitzherbert Stewart & Tomsett’s DAJEAN STARSTRUCK.  Youngest of the trio at 7, nice type, he moved soundly and enjoyed his day out.

Minor Puppy Dog (2)

  1. Tomsett’s DAJEAN CHOCOLATE CHARMER.  This baby scored on his movement today over his kennel mate, needs to mature but he is quite nicely constructed with  pronounced forechest, tight elbows, firm topline, well turned stifles, he moved true fore & aft.
  2. Tomsett’s DAJEAN’S RED SUN.  I preferred head shape & coat texture to above but he was a little overawed today and this showed in his movement, longer cast with good length of ribbing, well boned, nice hind angulation.  Just needs to gain confidence.

Puppy Dog (8,2a)

  1. Blackburn’s STARGANG PLUTONIUM.   Very attractive baby carrying a balanced outline which he held on the move, lovely head shape, dark eye, good reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, neat front, level backline, well turned stifles, he moved with parallel action, a quality youngster, close up for BP.
  2. Sexton & Dasilva’s MOLLONEY WOODY OR WON’T HE AT ERTEKES.  Nicely balanced pup with masculine head & expression, well ribbed with sufficient pro-sternum, good body depth, would like a tighter elbow, true movement fore & aft, nice harsh coat.
  3. DAJEAN CHOCOLATE CHARMER.

Junior Dog (5)

  1.  Dance’s EMEM SOLAR POWER.  Liked this boy for his free flowing movement, balanced head with lovely expression, good length of neck, sound front assembly with tight elbows, ribbing carried back, well turned stifles, super coat presentation, parallel movement coming & going and he maintained a nice outline.
  2. Ciprian’s KING JUAN CARLOS VITORAZ Jr It Ch/ Jr Port Ch/ Jr Croatian C/ Jr Malte. Masculine head, nice almond eye, correct ear carriage, good length of neck & body, sufficient depth of keel & rib, well boned, good bend of stifle, moving true in front, perhaps a shade wide behind.
  3. Gilkes DEREHEATH SHAKEN NOT STIRRED AT BIRICHINO.  Quite a nicely balanced young dog with good head shape, nice expression, lovely type, well presented harsh coat, moves away well, level when stacked, slight tendency to run up behind on the move.

Yearling Dog (8,1a)

1…Black’s BOTHLYN BACK IN BLACK BASSODON.  Well boned 15 month boy of good    type, reachy neck, sufficient pro-sternum with depth of chest & ribbing, good bend of stifle, he holds his topline both stacked & on the move, parallel coming & going away, just a tad fond of his stern but he was really enjoying his day.

  1.  Fulton’s BOTHLYN TRAIL BLAZE.  Nicely balanced boy with a lovely outline,  good head shape & ear carriage, sound front assembly, well ribbed, good length & depth of body, he moved true, I liked this lad but unfortunately his handler held him back which spoilt his side gait.
  2. KING JUAN CARLOS VITORAZ Jr It Ch/ Jr Port Ch/ Jr Croatian Ch/ Jr Malte.

Post Graduate Dog (9)

  1.  Tomsett’s DAJEAN SURELY A STAR.  This boy moved out really well, he has a deep forechest with ribbing carried well back, masculine head & expression, firm topline, would like a little more turn of stifle but he was parallel fore & aft, nice harsh jacket.
  2. Thompson’s IRENIDAE SEA STAR. Attractive red with balanced outline, good topline & tailset, neat front, well rounded quarters, a sound little dog that moved true fore & aft maintaining his outline, preferred coat of 1.
  3. Phillips’ GULLIAGH LOGANBERRY OF ROBINSWOOD.  Masculine head & expression, well boned with adequate ribbing, moved out well.

Limit Dog (10)

  1.  Rose & Blackburn’s STARGANG POT OF GOLD AT RIDANFLIGHT.  Lovely red with masculine correctly shaped head & dark eye, good length of neck leading into a sound front assembly, nice top & underline, just the right amount of hind angulation, he moved with drive, parallel fore & aft.
  2. Zwoferink Schut’s QUEENLORD PLANCK EPOCH. Bigger framed male that gained his place from his lovely shape & outline, he has a masculine head & expression, good neck length & body proportions, well turned stifles, level backline that he retained on the move, well presented.
  3. Kirkwood’s BEETLEJUICE VITORAZ AT HELYDON.  This boy is quite masculine, has a nice outline, good bone & substance, moved soundly.

Open Dog  (11,4a)

  1.  Smith’s CH.ALNCROFT IVAN INKLING.  Balanced little dog of correct size, lovely head & expression, good neck ,super forehand with chest fitting neatly into crook, deep keel & ribbing, firm level topline, well turned stifles, he moved soundly with parallel action, well handled & presented. RES. CC.
  2. Mills-Jones CARLITA SUNRISE.  Smart lad with a lovely outline, good neck leading into nice layback & deep forechest, well boned, ribbing carried back with good top & underline, sound quarters which he used well on the move.
  3. Saletti’s MULTI CH.LUX DEL PALATINO CHACCO BLUE.  This boy was nice to go over and moved with drive but for me he was two sizes too big but he deserved his place here.

Good Citizen Dog Scheme (1)

  1.  DEREHEATH SHAKEN NOT STIRRED AT BIRICHINO.  3rd in Junior, a nice young dog who has his ‘Gold’ certificate……well done.

Veteran Bitch (4)

  1.  Crow’s COMPANIA PANDORA. Grand old lady of 10 years, now going a little grey but she could show them how to move, such a sweet expression from that little grey face, quite nicely put together, she seemed to enjoy her day in the showring.
  2. Meredith’s DEEPDAX LET’S DANCE.  7years old, lovely type with good depth of forechest and ribbing, well turned stifles, she did ‘dance’ round the ring.
  3. Kirkwood-Emery’s HELYDON JINGLEBELLS.  Completed a trio of lovely Veteran girls, all giving of their best, in great condition and a credit to their owners.

Minor Puppy Bitch (1)

  1. Woodvine-Shone’s HANISHAN RINGING TONES.  What a little poppet, pretty 8 months baby with lovely head & expression, good depth of forechest for her age, neat front follows through to a nice ribcage & level topline, well bent stifles, she moved true for & aft.

Puppy Bitch (8)

  1. Russell’s RUSSTECK CORDELIA.  Very promising baby, liked her free flowing movement, type & overall balance. Well shaped head with dark expressive eyes, good pro-sternum, deep keel flowing through to a good depth of rib, excellent top & underline, well angulated quarters, she went with drive and has parallel action fore & aft, nice harsh coat.  BEST PUPPY.
  2. Grant’s GRANHOWARD PRISCILLA.    Another very sweet baby, she is quite low to ground but could certainly move, lovely head & expression with good ear carriage, sound front assembly, well ribbed with firm topline, good turn of stifle, she was handled to get the best out of her.
  3. Mullen’s ROZELLE ARE YOU READY. This girl has lots to like, beaten by two beautiful babies, she carried herself well with balance, moved happily.

Junior Bitch (7,1a)

  1.  Jones’ BIMINI TO THE MOON AND BACK.  Loved her overall balance & outline, pretty expressive head & eye, reachy neck, sound forehand, good length & depth of body, firm level topline, she moved true for & aft maintaining her outline, well presented harsh coat.
  2. Marston-Teal’s LORDSCAIRNIE ENDLESS LOVE.  Nice type with lovely head & expression, she has good depth throughout with prominent forechest & tight elbows, sound quarters that she used well on the move.
  3. Gilkes’ DEREHEATH JUST THE TONIC AT BIRICHINO.  Another nicely balanced youngster that has lots to like, neat forehand & angulated quarters, moved out well.

Yearling Bitch (6)

  1. Dance’s EMEM LETTY BEE SUNSHINE.  Neat little bitch of correct size, feminine well shaped head with dark eyes, sound front assembly with good angulation & tight elbows, pro-sternum & depth of keel, well ribbed with firm level topline, good turn of stifle, she moved true with drive, super coat & presentation.
  2. Hayward’s FOXEARTH FLY HOSTESS. Lovely type of bitch with plenty of quality, balanced head with appealing expression, ribbing carried well back, nice bend of stifle with low hocks, not moving quite as well as 1 but she is sound and has a lovely outline.
  3. Smith’s ALNCROFT IDA ZIRE. Completed a trio of quality girls, this one has lots to like and she moved positively.

Post Graduate Bitch (16,4a)

  1. Howells’ FALLOWMILL MISS RANGE ROVER.  Liked this girl for her type & balance, feminine head with dark eye, good neck leading into well angulated front, tight elbows, deep keel following through to good length & depth of rib, short loin, well turned stifles, parallel sound movement.
  2. Rose’s RIDANFLIGHT RENATA.  Sturdy red girl with nice outline, lovely head & expression, sound even front with adequate pro-sternum, well ribbed, well angulated hindquarters, firm topline, she moved well maintaining her outline.
  3. Marston-Teal’s LORDSCAIRNIE LOVE TO DREAM.  Nice type in good coat, she carried herself well on the move.

Limit Bitch (14,2a)

  1. Garrigos Mateo’s ALMARXILS LLIMONA. This red girl caught my eye when she entered the ring, on going over her I wasn’t disappointed, lovely head shape, ear carriage & dark eye, good reach of neck, excellent front assembly with good layback of shoulder and return of upper arm, tight elbows, deep keel & ribbing carried back, short loin, super hind angulation.  I loved her exhuberant animated movement, parallel coming and going away maintaining a lovely outline, she powered round the ring quite soundly,  perhaps a tad too fast at times, but she was very enthusiastic with a happy temperament.  BITCH CC & BOB.
  2. Russell’s EYEZ THE ONE RUSSTECK.   Nicely balanced all through, super head & expression, neat front with good depth of keel & ribbing, firm level topline, nice underline, well turned stifles with low hocks, parallel movement fore & aft.

Open Bitch (7,5a)

  1.  Jones’ BIMINI CHASING MOONBEAMS.  Classic type, lovely make & shape, feminine head with nice eye shape & ear carriage, reachy neck, good layback of shoulder, neat front, good depth of body with firm topline, well angulated quarters, she moved soundly & enthusiastically, parallel fore & aft and maintained her lovely outline, a quality girl with a nice harsh jacket, well presented.  RES. CC.
  2. Garrigos Mateo’s ALMARXILS TUATARA. Ww21/ Ew21/Ww22.  Slightly bigger bitch,  well boned, she is balanced with a level topline & decent underline, I preferred the head of 1 as it was more feminine,  well angulated in front & behind, she moved out positively with drive.
