Thank you for an interesting morning, size and type were mixed, I found too many with short sternum and short ribcages, many thanks to my stewards Jim Murdoch and Rose Shannon.
SBD/B 1(0) 1. Stewart-Brown’s Pennywave Pink Gin. 4 year old bitch with good coat texture, well ribbed body and sound rear, a little straight in shoulder hence could use more neck, sound rear, eye is a touch round, BSpB.
VD/B 1(0) 1. Crow’s Compania Pandora. Almost 11 years old and has retained good ground clearance and movement, holds her top-line well, a little too long for balance, coat a little soft now, BV.
JD 2(0) 1. Sexton/Dasilva’s Molloney Woody Or Won’t He at Ertekes. 15 months good coated dog with sufficient ground clearance and good top-line, upper arm a little upright and he can develop in forechest, good head type, sternum could be longer, good rear angulation and action.
PGD 3(0) 1. Cleall’s Foxearth Al Fresco. 3 year old red with excellent hard pin-wire coat, good forehand assembly, his ribcage is long but underline a little severe owing to short sternum, I’d prefer a little more rear angulation but he moved well. 2. Flowers/Smith’s Bingobongo’s Mr Bond. 2 year old, smaller dog who needs a little more substance, good head and eye, front assembly and action could be better. 3. Piper’s Macushia Michael Mosley at Avvoltoio.
LD 4(0) 1. Rose/Blackburn’s Stargang Pot of Gold at Ridanflight (AI). 3 year old red, top size dog with good proportions and ground clearance, good coat and ribcage, good head type, needs a little more front angulation and stronger feet, good rear, RDCC. 2. Black’s Bothlyn Back in Black Bassodon. 20 months, appealed instantly for his outline and balance and superb hard coat, I liked his head and eye, very good forechest, however still a teenager in body and needs to spring in rib and develop some width in front.
OD 4(0) 1. Thorn Andrews/Billinghurst’s Ch. Drakesleat Kumquat May. 4 year old who is good to go over on the table for his construction, ribbing, bone and a good head, he could make more of himself on the move but goes soundly, DCC & BOB. 2. Dance’s Emem Solar Power JW. 27 months, good on the move but needs to fill out generally, sound movement, I preferred balance of the winner. 3. Kirkwood-Emery’s Ch. Helydon Laird Loki JW.
PB 3(0) 1. Flowers/Smith’s Bingobongo’s Alpinista. 10 months old and a comfortable winner of this class and BP on her movement and carriage, good ribcage and coat and strong feet, her head could be stronger. 2. Crossman/Kennedy’s Janter Holly. Quality chocolate wild boar of 7 months, I liked her a lot for substance, body, coat and scored in head over the winer but needs more confidence and then she can go further. 3. Stewart-Brown’s Griffindax Gin Spritz.
JB 6(0) 1. Magri’s Rozelle Roxanne Rozamie. 14 months red who appealed most in this class for outline which she holds on the move, well angulated at both ends, she has a good stride but is narrow in front, has quality. 2. Grant’s Granhoward Patience. 13 months and a lovely shape, well ribbed back with lovely bone and feet, carrying to much body which made her look heavy in shoulder and too low to the ground. 3. Mullen’s Rozelle Are You Ready.
PGB 8(1) 1. Jones’ Bimini To The Moon and Back. A very good bitch of 19 months with hard coat, good proportions and ribbing and good sternum and underline, feminine head, strong jaw, eyes a little large, needs a little more forechest, moves well. 2. Kilroy’s Blackvein Rambler at Janacop JW. Another good bitch with excellent outline and coat, good proportions and moved well, not the sternum or underline of the winner. 3. Rose’s Ridanflight Renata.
LB 8(1) 1. West’s Archidax Dark Phoenix. 4 year old red, full of quality and type, she is well constructed and well ribbed, good head and eye, went well, just ready for a new coat - which is of good texture, in the challenge she gave a polished performance to take the BCC. 2. Stephenson’s Wistex Taking It Easy. 2 year old who is a little too long for balance, good coat, top-line and quarters, drives well from her hocks, not the front assembly or feet of the winner. 3. Mullen’s Rozelle Kamira’s Year.
OB 7(1) 1. Jones’ Bimini Chasing Moonbeams. Heartbreak of the day for me - and the owner as she was a good winner of this class, a beautiful bitch with superb coat, well constructed and went beautifully with great carriage to win this class, in the challenge, with her owner having two exhibits, she became unsettled, won RBCC but I think I was hard on her, I hope she will soon gain her third CC. 2. Kirkwood-Emery’s Helydon Nifty Nairn JW. 4 year old, another with excellent hard coat, carries herself well with good top-line, not the feet of the winner. 3. Thorn-Andrews’ Ch. Drakesleat Too Gud To Be True.
