I would like to thank the committee of the wire club for their kind invitation to judge mini wires at their championship show. I would like also to thank my two stewards and all the exhibitors who entered and for their sporting acceptance of my decisions. The type and quality in the classes was varied however I was pleased with my main winners and delighted to award them the CCs and RCCs.

V (4, 2a) 1 Jones Ch Bimini Starstruck. Lovely balanced veteran with nice head and furnishings, lovely expression, moved well, strong back end and correct wire coat. BV. 2 Kirkwood Emery, Helydon Jinglebells. Different type to one, just on the day didn’t move as well, lesser furnishings but enjoyed the day and stood well for her handler.

SP BEG (3) 1 Hunt’s Earthsea’s Kiss and Make Up. Very nice type, well balanced, good top line and correct tail set, with a coat of correct wire texture. 2 Brown’s Payched Mulberry Marvel.
