JD (1)  1 & Res CC Russell's Russteck The Bruce although he stood alone he was a very worthy class winner and in the challenge he continued to impress me so was Reserve Best Dog.  Beautifully headed, super eyes and expression, long neck, firm, level back over a good spring of rib, slight rise over the loin leading to very well angulated hindquarters..  His hocks are strong he moved around the ring showing good drive and forward reach.  Shown in lovely harsh coat he looked so positive and full of quality.  I wish him well.

LD (3/2) 1 Clare's Lordscairnie  Love God a bit short of coat and I would like more strength to his muzzle.  Pleasing skull, well shaped eyes and ears,  is quite well ribbed but topline dips a little.  He does have a lovely reach in neck and is well angulated aft. Side action is balanced  but he is a little loose in elbow when fore viewed.

OD (5)  1 & CC Thorn Andrews' Ch Drakesleat On The Nod despite not being in full coat, this very worthy Ch scored in size, neck, backline and excellent hind angulation. He has  such good bone and feet and his head is a delight.  I love his eyes and that hint of an arch in muzzle with the lips so well pigmented and fitting. He out-moved the opposition, particularly his front which is so true.  2  Howell's Fallowmill Sydney a size bigger all through but still no trouble with the weight. He too has a delightful head with such a good foreface and beautiful eyes and ears. His ribs carry well back and he was very good coat which is quite harsh to the touch.  He is a tad long in loin and the younger male beat him for the RCC as his rear action was stronger.  3  Russell's Russteck Wyre In The Blood

MPB (7/1)  1  Weeks' Beldrew Flora at Avon what a promising young Miss this is.  Her reach of neck and outline immediately draw the eye and then she handles so well on the table.  She has a well balanced head, very good eyes and a bright expression.  She is well ribbed, excels in forechest and is firm in elbow. Moved out with a smooth, purposeful action and she was presented in excellent coat. 2nd Mobley's Samlane Fran  much less finished than the winner but lots of charm with that delightful headpiece and super expression.  Not quite the reach of neck of the winner, but she has good angles both ends, her ribs carry well back and the loin is quite short.  In super coat she moved out well enough but just needs time and practise to settle for longer periods! 3  Howells' Fallowmill Indian Runner

PB (2/1)  1 , BP & Res CC Ergis & Merry's Drakesleat Trial N'Error for Siouxline I was so very taken with this quite lovely young bitch and later discovered that I had also done well by her two litter sisters shown by their breeder Mrs. Thorn Andrews. This one just oozes quality and surely her crown will be attained comparatively easily. I loved everything about her, the head is a joy, her expression will bemuse many, she uses that neck and well ribbed body to best advantage on the stack so that your eyes keep going back to her. She moved with such positivity showing the correct driving hock use.

JB (5/1)  1  Thorn Andrews' Drakesleat Drop Dead Gorjus this is another outstanding youngster and is the second pup of the litter which wowed me. Like her sister she just oozes breed type, stunningly headed, that neck and outline which  is hard to ignore, she has lovely angles both ends and she too can move with such soundness. Not quite so forward as her sister but I am sure her future will be equally as rosey. 2 Hunt's Earthsea Miss Givings slightly longer in leg than the winner and not in full coat which held her back.  I did like her head, really strong jaws, excellent eyes and ears, neck long and slightly arched and her body is nicely ribbed and muscled.  At the moment she tends to run up a fraction in backline as she circles the ring, but she has plenty of time to settle. 3 Grant's  Gran Howard Ownly

PGB (5)  1 Daykin's Barratini Angels Eye a quality bitch of lovely type and construction.  Scores in head balance, eyes and expression. In pristine coat, she is so well ribbed and bodied, excellent hind angulation and she uses her hocks so well as she circles the ring with such an even stride. 2 Marston-Teal's Lordscairnie Life's New Love this is a very good bitch but like several others today, she is very much between coats. Her head handles well, the muzzle is powerful the eyes a good shape and they are a lovely dark brown colour. She excels in forechest, her backline is firm and her profile action balanced. 3 Gilkes' Ridenflight Rockin Rita.

LB (10/1)  1 CC & BOB Jones' Bimini Blue Moon JW  she came into the ring firing on all cylinders, moving around the ring with all the sass and bravado of someone staging an entrance with a wish to be noticed.  I was delighted to handle her on the table and find that she was every bit as good as she looked.  Beautifully headed, long neck, so well bodied and angulated, in full coat and she zoomed around the ring with real style and so soundly. I believe this is her 2nd  CC and wish her well for that vital 3rd. 2  Thorn Andrews' Drakesleat Too Gud To Be True the 3rd  of the Drakesleat triplets and another I would expect to reach the dizzy heights. She is a delight to go over and she matched the winner in every aspect except that she lacked the projection and maturity of Blue Moon and was not quite so collected as her when they moved around the ring together, but then she is 9 months younger and less experienced. But her time will come, she is that good! 3  Black's Bassodon Dodecahedron.

OB (6/1)  1 Thorn Andrews' Drakesleat Gilder Lily her stunning shape draws the eye instantly and she is so well put together.  Clean, lengthy head, well shaped dark eyes, good ears, long well arched neck, so well ribbed and lovely bend of stifle. She is at her best on the move in profile but on the stack she appeared a little unsettled which told against her in the challenge. 2  Prince's Samlane Bellenza JW another which was sadly out of coat but it only served to confirm how well put together she is. I liked her head, very good foreface with the darkest of eyes. Her shoulders are correct, the upper arm of good length and she has such good feet. In firm body and muscle tone, her side action was balanced with reach and drive.  3  Smith & Moon's Drakesleat Prim N'Proper for Alncroft.

VB (1) 1 & BV Walker's Deepdex In The Red at Roselle 9 years young and in excellent coat and body condition.  Pleasing head,  nice expression, really good neck, well muscled hindquarters and she moved around the ring with attitude.
